If you are going to put signs all over your store that you are running a 60% off sale, it helps if the items in the store are actually SALE priced. Taking 60% off of some some imaginary MSR and calling it a sale is just a waste of my time. I’ve been into enough Payless locations looking for shoes for my kids to know that the prices during this sale were pretty much their everyday prices. A 2 since their everyday prices are still better than the big box stores.
