I always come here for the honey seared shrimp and each time it always looks different, but, its always good. The crab wontons are the best, and I love their spring rolls. I usually get my food to go, and the staff are usually great at having it ready for me when I come.

Really good fast Chinese food. The ingredients were fresh and the dishes were well prepared. The food were full of flavor.

The first time that I came to this location they gave me the wrong To-go order so starve and wait until after I got off work to pick up the right order. I would have just eaten the wrong order had it not been for the fact that it was inedible. It was some pile of greasy in recognizable ground meet. When I took it back up to them, they said it was for a lettuce wrap :/so I guess they serve this to people on the reg. I went again today, they guy began talking to someone else while completing my order. It was kind of rude. I was just picking up so it wouldn’t have been to much to ask for to have him finish with me before he moved on.

I was given a gift card so we made our first visit today. I had the sushi,(teriyaki cruch roll) and crab cheese wontons. I thought both were quite tasty. My daughter had the kid’s lo mein. She said that it was good too. My hubby was unimpressed with the pad thai. Service was speedy and our order came out correctly.

Been here several times. Great staff at cash counter. The food is inconsistent. It tasted good few times and bad at other times. If they can make it taste good every time, then it would be a good place.

Stopped eating here a few years ago as the chicken was really low quality(fatty, weird looking). Tried eating there again tonight to see if they’ve fixed the problem only to see that it was worse. The chicken wasn’t cooked(pink inside) and it straight up tasted strange. Great restaurant to AVOID.

What happened to the OLDPEIWEI! Huge mistake! They have not only changed their menu to reflect«fast food» low quality recipes, but their prices have gone UP! This does not make sense! As much as I have always loved this restaurant, I gave them about six or seven chances, each time, ordering something different to make sure that I was right, it is just not the way it used to be! The manager even admitted that tonight! Luckily I got all of my money back. Our food was absolutely disgusting! My main entrée came out BEFORE my appetizer sushi and my son’s meal. I had«Dan Dan Noodles», which literally only had noodles, cucumbers, beef, and this gravy like substance. Those four things, nothing else. Then they brought my sons meal out and it was not the right meal, so we had to wait 10 minutes for them to remake it. Finally my sushi came out, and it was sushi that costed five dollars, for four pieces, and it tastes worse than grocery store sushi! My entire tab for these 3 meals was $ 17. Just insane. No lie, this tasted worse than something you would get at the grocery store or a fast food chain. It was simply very difficult to even eat.

Maybe we were there on a bad day, but our visit to this Pei Wei was a severe drop off from other Pei Wei restaurants I have been to. The Thai Dynamite had no heat and the tofu had a leather-like consistency. My daughters Lo Mein was cold and the noodles were all stuck together. I will probably go back to try the Pei Wei in Allen, which was usually very good.

Came here tonight for dinner for two reasons: they sent me a free kids meal coupon and I heard they rolled out a new lighter menu. I got a cup of the hot and sour soup and the new ahi tuna salad. My kid got the shrimp lo mein. The kids meal was free, so I won’t judge them too harsh that the«lo mein» was really just spaghetti type noodles. The shrimp was nice and plentiful though. My soup was extremely tasty, one of the best in town. Served hot and fast. All good was served within five minutes. The new ahi tuna salad was Sooooo good! I was skeptical, but the tuna tasted fresh and while the knife cuts could have been better, overall it’s a low calorie guilt free way to feel like you are eating an ahi tower without rice. Service was prompt and courteous. I’ll be back!

This place used to be good, but not any more. The service is poor and the food has changed for the worse. The Pad Thai is not the same as before; the noodles are like spaghetti and mine was brought to me with no bean sprouts or peanuts. The cook was obviously not happy about it being sent back — since it is an open kitchen, I could see every expression he made. The manager never apologized or asked if I wanted a different dish. I don’t know what has happened here. it was really a good place to eat before.

I give 2 stars only because the staff is nice. The cooks they have need to go back to schoo, my rice was gummy and chicken pure fat. My veggies look fine however taste burnt and the glazing on the gluten free spicy chicken was gritty. Worst meal I have had here ever, at least my food was hot.

WOW-this place has completely gone downhill. Ordered online to pickup at 7pm, food took another 15 minutes. when I got home the pork egg rolls were fried beyond recognition AND greasy, threw them out. Sesame chicken with brown rice turned out to be something else with white rice. portions were small and simply not good. The staff were obviously unorganized and chaotic in their response. NEVERWILLGOBACKHEREAGAIN– will go to Rice Lovers or Imperial Gardens. Bummer, we used to love this place. Also going to website to voice my dissatisfaction.

Fast Chinese food? Not when the wait is 45 to dine in and 1 hour for pickup… something is wrong with this picture.

This location’s food is strait up pathetic. Order some Lo Mein and it is literally boiled spaghetti with a couple pieces of cooked onions. Welcome to the McDonalds of Asian cuisine. But hey, if you want some ridiculously horrible food fast this is the place for you. It only takes them three minutes to slap some boiled spaghetti in some Tupperware and smear a little oil on it! Enjoy!

I held back from writing a negative review when we were here a couple of weeks ago and the food was inedible, but tonight’s dinner pushed me to go ahead and do it. The last time we waited 25 minutes for our food and there was only four tables occupied in the restaurant. The Kung Pao arrived completely burnt to a crisp to the point that the chicken was rock hard. I didn’t even finish it. Tonight, ordered the same exact thing, Kung Pao Chicken with Brown Rice, and order shows up with no peanuts in it when it clearly comes with them. I asked for a side of extra sauce with peanuts in it, and attempted to wait for it to arrive before eating. It took about 10 minutes for the cup of sauce with peanuts to show up so I gave in and started eating before it arrived. From the looks of the reviews in the past month something has definitely changed at this location. We’ve been coming here for over three years and it’s just not the same anymore. May start making the extra drive to another location in the future.

I’m not a huge fan. The sushi had more rice than anything and each piece was small. I ordered the teriyaki crunch roll and the wasabi crunch roll, they both tasted about the same and looked the same. And the rice crispies sprinkled on top cheapened the look of the food and didn’t do much for taste. It’s been a year since I’ve eaten at a Pei Wei and I don’t remember being impressed back then either. It’s just not my thing so I probably won’t be back. I have to add that the service was good and the store was very clean. The booth seats were comfortable. Nice overhead music had a good atmosphere.

Quite disappointing to visit here today. Ordered online lettuce wraps, and more. Got it to «take-away» and got all the way hme to find no lettuce and the sauce spilled throughout the bag all over the other food items, so everything tasted like lettuce wrap sauce and I dont even have any lettuce. This location has really gone downhill. Our relationship is over. I will be going to the frisco location from now on.

I am only giving this one star because it is food and I am hungry! I have been here 30 min and there are literally 7 tables and 4 tables have no food! This is a mess!!!

Service = 5 Stars Food = 4 Stars Kid/Mommy Friendly = 3 Stars I really enjoy Pei Wei, but haven’t been in some months. Having just moved to Dallas I didn’t even know they had them here, so I was delighted to see one while searching for lunch this week. As other reviewers have stated, they have changed their menus. I believe it’s to allow for more options and make the consumer feel less pigeon-holed by a pre-selected menu. I however was stumped. I used to order a spicy chicken salad, so after trying to figure out how I would order this on the new menu I decided to stop doing it on my own and simply ask the cashier for some help. Thankfully, they knew exactly what I was talking about and rang me up with no more hassle. I also added a chocolate chip cookie to my order. There was plenty of seating but really zero space for a stroller. So, I chose the seat that I felt my stroller would stop the least amount of foot traffic. The music was also really loud. Like so loud, I had trouble hearing the gentleman who came to drop my food off when he asked if I needed anything else. So loud within 10 minutes my little one who had been fast asleep in his car seat woke wide awake. I’ll probably be back, but will make sure the little one isn’t in need of a nap and is well entertained.

Had the Beef Pad Thai, Crab Wontons as an appetizer, and the kids had Shrimp and Chicken Lo Mein. The Pad Thai wasn’t as good as I’ve had in the past at Pei Wei, the meat was pretty chewy. The Lo Meins were great. Service was OK, they took our number off the table before we had all of our food so we had to wave another runner down to get the rest of our food. Overall, not our best visit to Pei Wei. Still an OK visit but would probably go to the location in Plano before heading back here.
