I get Panera confused with Paradise Bakery a lot. The biggest difference for me is portion sizes; Panera is usually smaller portion sizes, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I’ve eaten at this Panera several times. To me, there’s no distinction between them and anyone else except for their breakfast offerings. They have soufflés that are just phenomenal. My personal favorite is the spinach artichoke. It’s crusty on the top yet creamy and silky inside. It’s steep at 4.39, and yes, it looks awfully small for that price, but it is surprisingly filling. I e never eaten one and still been hungry. This location is very clean, very well laid out and has a nice book reader vibe. That’s usually what I do here; I go to Half Price Books then come here to read. The staff is very friendly and all in all it’s worth a stop in.

There are 2 Panera Breads in the area, this one and the one at Watters Creek on Bethany. I have to say that I prefer this one over the Watters Creek location. Seems they just do a better job with the sandwich and salads. I think I said this in another review of another location, I love the Mediterranean Kale Quinoa Chicken(name may not be accurate but these are the main ingredients) salad! My go to every time. I also can’t ever resist the cookie! The rewards program is also pretty good here.

Had the chicken ham and cheese Flatbread with a cup of broccoli cheese soup. Everything was prepared fresh and didn’t taste like it was sitting on a tray warmer.

I had the pick 2 of a grilled chipotle chicken panini with a creamy tomato soup. It was delicious! There weren’t too many people to say it was lunchtime. Also, the place was kinda dirty. Overall, the food was excellent, the service was fast, and the place was good. FOOD: 5⁄5 SERVICE: 5⁄5 AMBIANCE: 4⁄5

We’ve been to this Panera location several times and it’s evident that the manager cares very much about hiring polite and efficient help. Really, the staff is 5 star. Better than some in much fancier establishments. Courteous to a fault. The food is excellent but I think that’s the case for all Panera restaurants. Appreciate the calorie counts clearly available on menu items! Pleasant, quiet, free wi-fi — it really does not get much better than this for a quick bite, a meeting with an old friend, or a place to hang out for awhile.

Came around 745pm. The cashier was really nice and helpful. Me and husband both got the pick 2. He had the Turkey sandwich and Asian salad. I got the Cobb salad and wild rice soup. Food came out pretty quickly. Husband loved his food although his sandwich was a little dry. My salad was not that filling or good due to salad mainly due to lack of freshness. The boiled egg literally looked like someone bit into it or tore it in half with their hands and threw it in the bowl. Avocado had turned Brown as well. My soup was good but had a little burnt taste. Although my food was not the best Panera experience I would try it again earlier in the day to see. Not sure if I will go at night again. Again, all the workers were super friendly.

My first time here with my wife for lunch. The only other Panera I have been to is in Allen. This location is larger but the food and service seem to be the same. Good quality salads and sandwiches. We like the kiosk ordering system. When we have gone here at lunch time the line can be long. The kiosk is quick and easy. Good job on the design of this system! We stopped here because McAlisters was closed for renovation. It turned out to be a very good alternative! We will be back.

A bit different, a bit fancier than other Paneras out there. Food is as always average and their bagels are always hard. The service here was great, wifi worked well, and coffee was just fine.

Love the new format, the kiosk order station was cool, one sandwich came out without the cheese that was ordered, the bbq chicken flat bread was swimming in bbq sauce. Overall decent but the attention to details on food needs work

This location is always very consistent and clean. Staff is extremely friendly. Soups here are better than some of the other chain restaurants such as Jason’s or McCalisters.

Should’ve just gotten the whole tortellini Alfredo and gotten the Caesar salad at Wendy’s across the street! As it was, I tried the«pick 2» deal and paid $ 9.40 for cup of romaine lettuce, a sprinkling of shaved cheese, two croutons and ¼ cup of salad dressing in a box plus a cup the tortellini. The tortellini was good but nothing special. Like I said, order the whole one. Get the salad somewhere else. Unbelievably overpriced. Corner Bakery is so much better but farther away. C’est la vie.

I have always loved Panera Bread, and this is a great location. The people are always very friendly to me. I sometimes stay for hours to grade papers, and they don’t seem to mind. Of course, the food is amazing!

What a shame. This has always been one of my good to places, however, since they automated, the restaurant is in chaos. Orders are not delivered as placed, tables are not cleaned, nor is the floor, teas are empty most of the time and the great baguettes are replaced with a roll. Prices have gone up as well. As I said — was my go to place — now I will look for something new.

Panera has been a regular for a hearty, quick lunch with friends. It is rare that something ever goes wrong with an order, and the one time it happened the staff at this location bent over backward to ensure that I was completely satisfied. The new ordering system is great. They have kiosks that let you quickly order and pay with a credit, debit, or gift card so you can get to your table without the wait in line. They also offer an order from your table options now so you can go, get your table then order for even faster seating time. The Bistro Onion in Bread Bowl is a great meal no matter what time of year. The selection of teas and coffees rivals the coffeehouses in the area. Overall this is one of my favorite places to eat in the McKinney area.

Nice food, but employees are rude. Prices are pretty high for what you get. Restaurant was not very clean. I will avoid this location in the future.

I like Panera Bread… Except for the fact that their prices have gone up drastically in the last few years. I’m giving this store only three stars because of the service here. The employees are unusually sullen here — I’m guessing that it’s partially management’s fault — but it doesn’t give a nice first impression. Also, anytime after 7pm at this Panera, expect them to be out of most of the bakery items. Overall — not horrible, but this is not my favorite place in the area at all. Instead of this Panera location, I highly recommend Paradise Bakery on Stacy Road! It’s very much worth the extra 5 miles down the interstate. The prices are much lower and the service is much better! :)

Breakfast: sausage, egg, and cheese on a French toast bagel. — cant go wrong. Lunch: grown up grilled cheese(has bacon in it, although not much.) and tomato soup. These are«new» and so worth it. Service has been good.

I have generally met friends here for a quick, light lunch and only just now I’m revieiing Panera. Firstly, the menu is easy to navigate. Secondly, the coffee is hot, good selection and plentiful. Finally, when I have something special to ask, the folks taking the order or filling the order are extremely accommodating. Atmosphere always comfortable — not too cold and not too warm which means a lot when you are comfortable. I always run cold and can’t stand shivering in the excessive AC during a warm Texas summer. Never a problem at Panera at this Eldorado and Central Expressway location. Soup tasty. Bread(whole wheat baguette) fabulous. Good options for those who either eat low carb or just generally watch their gluten intake.

Another great location of Panera… consistently clean, well staffed and delicious food! I love to have an egg soufflé to start off the morning and this location didn’t disappoint either!

This place is nice, clean and has a ton of tables. Good for a large group to meet or just couples. The cashier Daniel was very helpful, really friendly & professional. I enjoyed my french onion soup, ceasar salad is okay. The baked goods all looked amazing. I’ll have to test them out on my next visit. I did have a bite of the cinnamon crunch bagel. Delicious. When I’m in the mood, for baked goods I’ll be back.
