This was my first time here today with my 6 year old. She had dentistry work done and needed to eat something and requested soup. So phở we go! We usually go to Phở Bistro but this was closer and had great reviews. My daughter got a bowl of chicken broth(1.00) and I got some rangoons and the spicy seafood curry noodle soup. The rangoons came straight from the fryer to us, so they were pretty oily. My real disappointment was that it had no dipping sauce and the wonton it was in was super stale tasting. The filling was tasty, but again… a little dipping sauce would be nice.(3 for 2.95) My curry was not spicy. But I’ll say this: Most things that say spicy aren’t to me. I’m a creole/Cajun girl and you really need to spice things up for me. Next time I’d request extra spicy. If also request no fake crab; most all of the seafood in the curry was the fake imitation crab. There were 5 shrimp in the large bowl, three calamari and three scallop pieces. Everything else was noodles and imitation crab. The curry itself was tasty, but when we got our stuff to go, I got it home 15 minutes later and there was no soup. He packaged it to go for me, and I guess didn’t include most of the soup part, so all I got was the gummy noodles. Not my best outing, but I’ll probably go back and try the phở here. Service was nice and friendly.

Had Chicken Phở and it was average tasting, like I love Phở and have tried several places and the Phở here wasn’t as good as other restaurants. They had good service and the place was nice, but it wasn’t memorable.

Phở is one of my favorite things ever and I’ll say that it doesn’t get much better than this. Definitely beats out the other places I’ve been in Dallas. I always get brisket and round steak but the broth is really what sets this place apart. The spring rolls have too much lettuce but I’m there for the phở. Phở show.

I’ve had the beef with rice last time, the grilled beef steak was paper thin. I decided to give another go for the beef soup in this place since they have great reviews online, maybe I had just ordered the«wrong thing». They have no traditional viet drinks, no fruit shakes either. This time, the raw bean spouts they gave me were all going bad already, completely unacceptable… hence the one star for overall experience. I would rather drive futher out to other places around the area.

Apparently Phở Que Huong is a pretty big Vietnamese chain of restaurants here in North Dallas(they have 12 restaurants and counting). I’ve only been to this one and the one in Plano(off of Legacy near the Cinemark theatre). This one is closer to work so I go here more often. I have a feeling no matter which PQH I went to the quality would be consistent, which is a plus if I’m ever on the Lewisville side of town and craving phở, but I particularly like this one because it has more of a mom and pop feel to it. I usually get the S9(Spicy Round Steak Rice Noodle Soup). There is enough food and soup for two helping servings. Also they’re super fast; I can order and come pick up within 5 – 15 minutes.

The food was horrible! This place might have asians cooking, doesn’t mean it’s authentic.

Sigh. The food is good but the last 3 – 4 times I’ve come the service has deteriorated every time. Today was the last straw. They brought 2 out of 3 orders, and I had to remind the waitress about our drinks. So, two of us begging eating and still wait for our drinks. Then, we finished eating before they brought out the third order because they lost our ticket. THEN, they didn’t bring cutlery out for 1 of us, but did for the other 2. It was a mess and we were starving so we weren’t exactly patient in the first place. It looks like they are severely understaffed, since 2 of the staff in the front were cooking and the young waitress was probably in training. She could not understand our orders, couldn’t understand the phone, and was the one that forgot everything. They either need a very competent waitress, or 2 more staff. Oh, I forgot to mention that there were only 2 tables taken in the entire place, so it’s not like they were overwhelmed with customers.

I have been going here for over a year niw… and just finally have had enough. I LOVE Vietnamese food, so that’s why I go back… but the drive down to the legacy location is what I’ll be doing. again My problem with this place is the portions are terrible. I can literally count the little 8 pieces of thinly sliced chicken or beef I get in my to go phở. I also recently just discovered they are charging me a whole dollar for the bag of phở veggies with the hoisin and mung beans. I don’t like establishments that are greedy. The waitress is really sweet, but greedy, stingy owners leave me with a bad taste in my mouth. The peanut sauce is super bland and watery. You always have to add something to it. They don’t even put a sauce on the banh mi’s. Which means you have to add something to it yourself so as not so dry you choke trying to chew it. Just disappointed…

Carry out portions here are a little smaller than it’s sister phở que huong restuarants. Otherwise, the food is pretty good though.

Pretty good little Vietnamese fast food restaurant. The phở’s are pretty good. The price is very good too! Don’t get me wrong, even though it is fast, the food are hot and fresh. The owner and the staff are very friendly. If you are the first time here, I suggest you to try the combination phở, where you can try a bit of everything. If you need to be a little more filling, get the BBQ + rice combo. Of course, the sandwiches are great too(forget about the Subway sandwich! You will never go back!). In summary, for cheap, fast delicious food, here is where you should be!

I just watched the owner harass a family so bad they had to leave. He then followed them outside and continued. The couples little boy accidentally knocked over a baby chair and it broke. The owner demanded they pay for it and attempted to humiliate the parents. Good food but shitty management. I’ll go to the one in Plano.

Great peanut dip. Hate crunchy onions in the spring rolls. My son who is picky after one bite wouldn’t eat it. He liked the phở I thought it was very watery. They did something to the chili paste. It was so sweet not hot. I couldn’t even eat it. That ment I didn’t eat. Unless I feel the heat and burn I don’t like my meal. sorry I will say I won’t be back. I was kinda nice.

Appetizers were decent. We got the meatballs. and fried spring roll. Meatballs were a tad gummy. However for the main course, I got V2 pork vermicelli with extra pork($ 2 charge). It came out with barely the amount of pork I would expect that a normal order would have. I questioned the amount, and they said, «it’s just a salad, so that’s how it comes… sorry» The peanut sauce on the N6 was bland and not much flavor /spices /fresh basil at all. Maybe we should have stuck with Phở and not tried our V and N options. Not very appealing.

The place was clean and nice! The service was good! But I think the food was alright. I’ve tried the combination phở, the vermicelli with chicken, and the rice with pork. I feel it lacked flavor and the food was pre-made. FOOD: 3⁄5 SERVICE: 4⁄5 AMBIANCE: 4⁄5

Absolute must try if you enjoy Vietnamese food. Don’t expect Ritzy or pizzaz, but expect good food with flavor. The service was friendly and prompt. Setting was clean and open. I came close to closing hours and I was still made very welcome and given time to even order more after my bowl of phở. My taste are simple. I enjoyed the combination phở regular bowl. I was shown the large bowl which could have fed two of me(I don’t like to stuff myself silly). I thought the broth was simple but flavorful, and NOT too salty. Side veggies were good for my bowl of noodles. After I was done, I had to try the tofu spring rolls(okay, so I stuffed myself a little bit, but, well worth it). It’s great appetizer, even though I did things a little backwards! Loved the little dipping peanut sauce on the side! The owner was present and very friendly. I think when you enjoy what you do, it presents itself very well in the type of work you produce. This owner is great! I will be coming back!

This location was disappointing compared to the Legacy location. The service was very slow, there were only 3 customers. The Phở was OK, but the filet I paid extra for was fatty. It wasn’t my worse experience, but they can improve. My wife and I had the steak-phở and a couple pork spring rolls, they were pretty good, but the 15 minute wait killed the mood. They didn’t even have crayons… My kids liked their Phở. I’ll give it one more chance, next week…

I enjoy coming here frequently for the delicious food and relaxed atmosphere. Sometimes I’ll order to go but prefer to dine in when possible to get to enjoy the entire experience of being served hot fresh phở. In addition to enjoying the taste and quality of the food I find that Phở Que Huong satisfies my standards for nutrition and a healthier lifestyle.
