Texas Vision and Laser Center

Not so happy with Texas Vision and Laser Center. I saw Dr. Karon for my first appointment June 18. I went to the doctor because of vision problems. Dr. Karon’s office made a return appointment for me on July 22 at 2 p.m. After I got home and checked my calendar, I realized I had a conflict for that date. I called Dr. Karon’s office and rescheduled for July 23 at 2:10 p.m. When I got to the doctor’s office today, they had no record of my appointment and when they checked their book, they said I had a return appointment on August 12 at 8:45 a.m. Anyone who knows me, knows that I would never make a morning appointment with anyone, unless it was for a flight to Hawaii! Also because of my continued vision problem, I would not have waited until August 12. The young lady seemed extremely flustered and said while they didn’t have me down for today, they would try to work me in. Needless to say I too am extremely disappointed.

Dr. Jason Bullajian has 2 offices now, one in Frisco and this location. He is a very good doctor, but the wait time to see him is over 45 min. My mom’s appointment was at 2:50pm we were still waiting to see the MD at 3:40pm. There has to be a better way to optimize wait time. If you don’t mind a very long wait time, this MD’s service does the job (just prepare to wait).

Extremely disappointed in the Texas Vision and Laser Center. Dr. B was ok, but the billing department billed my insurance incorrectly. I had a standard procedure that was covered by insurance but they billed for a off the wall elective procedure. After hours and hours on the phone with both the office and my insurance, I was told there was nothing I could do from either end. Dr. B’s office made no apologies for this several hundred dollar error and refused to even own up their mistake. Even if this was the best doctor I had ever seen (far from it) I wouldn’t be back. Save yourself a headache with Dr. B’s billing department and use one of the 20+ other eye doctors in the area. I’ve never had such a disappointing medical experience.
