The One and Only Burgers and Fries

Really good burger; you can choose any number of toppings for free. We had the double cheese burger with sautéed onions, avacados, fresh jalapeños and lettuce. Their sauce is one of a kind. Best burger ever.

I had a double bacon cheeseburger and fries. The food is very similar to Five Guys or Mooya. It’s not quite as tasty as the two, but still very good and much cheaper. I would have given it 5 stars, but the A/​C barely worked. In the Texas summer heat that is almost unacceptable.

Just another burger joint, but a very very good one. The burgers are very good, and you can get it almost any way you want it. Service if great and always friendly. Love the fries, but they are very generous with them. A large order would feed a small soccer team.
Try it, you’ll like it.

I finally tried this place. I found it here on Unilocal when I was looking for a good burger place. The burgers were so flavorful! This is now my favorite burger. My little picky eaters even gobbled their cheese burgers up within minutes.
They serve loads of fries that are perfectly cooked. The sauce for the fries was so good. It had a spicy flavor to it.
The cheeseburgers are only $ 4.50 and you pick all your toppings for free. Avocado is even on that free list. I highly recommend this place!

GREAT burgers with lots of FREE add-​ons and very reasonably priced. I would have to compare their french fries to Moo-​Yah french fries. They are large portions and taste delicious! I would have to recommend that you stay away from the veggie burger because it is literally vegetables but on a bun. (I had to giggle at that burger… ;p)
Atmosphere is kind of divey to casual. But the owner is so enthusiastic, he is constantly checking orders behind the line and then he goes from table to table making sure everyone is happy with their order. It is obvious this is a family run, heart and soul business!

I was in the area and thought I would look for a burger place I had never been to. The Unilocal reviews directed me to this place. Good call. Nothing fancy here, just a great burger with lots of no cost add ons and great fries.
I will be back!

Best burgers in McKinney Tx!!! Real old fashioned burgers and fries! Great staff and fast service. Remember to try their signature spicy sauce!

This is our family’s favorite burger place. It’s a little bit of a drive out here to the Eastside of McKinney, but well worth it. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Great burgers with fresh ingredients. That’s a real all beef patty with no freezer burns or fillers and preservatives. The menu is limited but the choices of free toppings isn’t. The fresh cut fries are good. My only complaint is the tables and floors need to be cleaned more often, otherwise it would be 5 stars based on the food and prices.

The staff was rude, I will never come back. They charged us for an additional burger we didn’t order and got the toppings wrong in the first place, the order taker kept cutting us off when we were placing the order and was obnoxious
I had to clean our table with a baby wipe I had luckily bc all the tables were dirty, as was the floor

Pretty decent burger and fries. I had the bacon cheeseburger with tomato, lettuce and onion, and shared the fries with my boyfriend. He had a cheeseburger with all the veggies, including jalapenos. Very casual atmosphere, busy but not hectic or loud. Overall a nice dining experience.

Burgers are sooooo good here. Freshly made patties that are perfectly seasoned. Everyone is so nice. I will definitely be back for my home style burger fix.

I hate to be a buzzkill but I don’t understand why so many people love this place. Yes, the burgers and fries are good. Yes, there’s an appeal about this being a mom-​and-​pop hole-​in-​the-​wall and reasonably priced. However, it’s certainly not the best burger ever. And there certainly isn’t anything else they’re offering other than a reasonably priced made-​to-​order burger and fries. It reminded me of when you go to your buddy’s weekend cookout and he’s making burgers for a couple dozen people. Yeah, they’re much tastier than McDonald’s and I appreciate him running to Kroger that morning to buy the ingredients but it is what it is. If I’m in the area and wanting a quick $ 4 burger I’ll certainly go back but let’s not make this out to be the best burger north of 635…

I’ve been coming here since they opened up. It’s been a joy to watch this hard working family build such a successful business and in such a competitive market to boot. The recent remodel work in the dining room improved the feel and the flow of the place and added much needed seating. One and Only just keeps getting better. Great burgers made to order, fresh cut fries and the house sauce are all excellent. Keep up the great work guys!!!

Great little burger spot in Mckinney. Gotta try the fresh cut fries with a side of the specialty sauce. The toppings are free so pale it on. The place is small and not much but the burgers is worth the trip.

From the look of this place on the outside you wouldn’t expect much but looks are very deceiving in this case.
The bacon double cheeseburger was one of the best I’ve had. I’m not really a fan of french fries overall but I had a few and even those were good.
We went on a Saturday and the crowd was pretty good sized and the place was full. That in itself is a great endorsement.
Support small privately owned businesses and give this place a shot. You won’t be disappointed.

This place is amazing! The fries are awesome, you get to build your hamburger the way you like it! The customer service has been impeccable every time and I’ve been here 6 times as of today.
They have Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, and Specialty sandwiches (veggie sandwich, grilled cheese, cheese veggie sandwich, and a BLT).
For drinks they have a fountain machine and bottled water!

It’s a Five Guys clone. That being said, they’re sure doing it right. Had a great double cheeseburger and a ton of fries. Price is right too. All the toppings are free. Where else can you get avocado on your burger without an extra charge? I’ll be back.

Ok McKinney, this place is a must try. Leave your comfort zone of the west side and head over to 380 and Highway 5. My son spotted the sign that said «Best burgers in town!» He said we have eat there.
When you walk in you notice how clean it is inside. It is an open concept so you can see your meal being prepared. The dining area was spotless and so was the kitchen.
I was greeted by a friendly woman who took my order. I ordered a cheeseburger. Then piled on the free toppings. I added fresh zesty jalapeños, pickles, lettuce, tasty ripe avocados, and special sauce. Trust me, get the special sauce. It’s a take on southern «Comeback Sauce», but it has a spicy kick!
I wanted cheese on my fries, but they wouldn’t allow it. Oh well, maybe they are fry purist!
The meal was perfect. The owner came over and checked on us twice. We will be back!

Very good burgers. 5 Guys clone. Food is better though. Needs some color in the décor, too much white… Food looks just like the pictures. Tons of fries, we bought the medium for two of us, and it was plenty. Overwhelmed by the ordering system made me not pay attention to the cost as closely as I should have. The girl taking orders charged me for 4 drinks instead of the 2. Not sure why that happened, was gone and home before I looked at receipt carefully. I didn’t feel like driving back to contest the charge as it would have cost me more in gas to go back. Consider it a tip!
Will I visit again? Probably, I like the avocado on my burger! No complaints, just still looking for the best burger around. The burgers are very good, but I’ll have to do a rerun of the Baker’s Brothers, and the Pride Burgers to see who wins out. I think ALL of them do a decent burger.
