Poor poor poor service. The shake came out running. Our order was way behind the shakes. And our hamburgers were first given to our friends to eat. The cost and the service by far overshadows any good things about the food. This is the second time that we have had this type of experience. We will not be going back

Big problems yesterday after lunch hour. We arrived at 2 and ordered which took a while. We got our food one by one 5−10mn at a time. We were apologized for one that had to be defrosted. Our orders we not the usual(with a teaspoon of guac and 10 jalapeños piled on top). But then the people started coming in little by little in large groups. Groups of people standing around waiting for food. The girl in back running from the kitchen to the take out area. As we left things got hairy with customers taking food off the kitchen counter, customers asking for $$ back, tables filled with people waiting on orders. We thought maybe it was just a bad day with the inexperienced team/crew working the holiday hours. But then I read other reviews and this location has bad service. Too bad, the prices are too high for bad service and half made burgers.

Great burgers! Great customer service. Sam helped me out deciding what to get and went above and beyond with making sure I was taken care of. Keep up the good work!

The food was good, but the service horrible. The food took forever to be ready, got to the table cold and the worse part… With hairs in the meat… Cookers need to cover their hair while they cook. We order some shakes and when we asked the lady about them after waiting for more than 20 min she said with an attitude«I know, I am the only person here» and left. We saw her making them and it was a mess, milk all over! What a difference in service, food, and attention in the Frisco location. The food is served hot, fast, and in a friendly way.

Smashburger is one of my favorite new additions to McKinney. My husband and I were so glad when they finally opened the McKinney location! The service is always excellent, even with counter service they are better than most«sit-down restaurants» and I have worked in the service industry for 6 years. The food is always great, cooked perfectly and has great flavor. The staff is always so attentive, checks on you often, and they always have a smile on their face! No complaints! :)

Over priced and not worth the hype. Their burgers are not as large as they lead you to believe

Visited Smash Burger after church today. Quite a busy place around 1 pm. Had to wait for a table. Burgers are great. They accidentally forgot my cheese and bbq sauce on my Jalapeño Bbq burger but it was so good I didn’t notice till ½ way through the burger. I got the onion rings. My husband got the Italian oiled French fries. Next time that is what I’m getting! They were great. Overall was great taste. I’m giving a 4 due to the lack of quality control.

The enthusiastic cashier put us in a great mood from the start. The manager must have checked on us three times and gave us two coupons for our next visit. All the food was fresh. I had the Blue Cheese Buffalo Smashburger with SmashFries and a Vanilla Hand-Spun Shake. My wife had the Avocado Bacon Club Smashburger with a haystack of onions and a chocolate Hand-Spun Shake. The tasty burgers were hanging over the bun and the shakes were ice-cold and delicious. I will be back.

Rosemary skinny fries are the best! I’m so glad Smashburger has made it to McKinney. Everything in this location is brand-new and service is friendly. Love the soft egg buns and that cheese does not cost extra too.

Warning! I love burgers!!! Kids been asking to stop in have a burger. Just had a couple of standard burgers and fries. Everything was very fresh and hot. The burger pattie was very juicy and had good flavor. The shoestring fries are too small for me, but that’s just personal preference. I like thicker cut fires or hand cut if available. Expect a messy burger, but that’s a good thing. Very comparable to Mooyah just comes down to which is nearer to me. Prices are very competitive for a made to order burger. Sorry Jack, In n Out, and Whatawhat… There’s a fresh food revolution on the rise.

The Rosemary sweet potato fries are awesome. They burgers are good but tend to be overcooked.

Finally, a SmashBurger in McKinney! The burgers and chicken sandwiches are always really good. I love that they use fresh cut jalapenos instead of jarred or canned. The flavor and the heat from the fresh jalapenos makes a huge difference, and it makes want to go back and eat more!

Went to Smashburger last week while running around doing Xmas shopping. I ordered a basic burger all the way. I like getting it without a lot of add-ons at first to judge the restaurant on it’s basic product, Right! The burger was very good. It was well cooked, hot, and had the right amount of seasoning. The veggies were fresh the combo and came with a good amount of fries. I was surprised at the size of the actual fries. They are match sticks. Really! Well done, but very thin. I actually liked this as I believe that you get more flavor(and probably grease) form them. All in all, I had NO complaints! Would I go there again? Absolutely! The customers around me were getting the homemade Haagen-Dazs Shakes. I gotta try one of those next time and skip the fries.

Yay for Smashburger in Mckinney! The menu is à la carte; burger sizes are regular(1⁄3 lb burger) or big(½ lb). You have all your traditional burger options, trimmings and sides as well as your standard chicken sandwich selections… but with more options at Smashburger. The menu features some«pre-built» burgers like the Bacon Cheeseburger, and the Spicy Jalapeño Baja. Or, you can build your own by choosing your bun, patty, toppings, cheese(s), and sauce(s). Bun options include: Classic Egg & Spicy Chipotle. Select your patty: beef, grilled or fried chicken, or black bean. Cheese options include: goat, bleu, etc. Toppings choices are plentiful and include a fried egg, caramelized onions, garlic mushrooms, etc. The house sauce is called«Smash Sauce» and I like it. Sides on the menu include veggie frites, sweet potato fries($ 2.29), fried pickles, etc. And there are salad options like a Cobb, or a grilled chicken. They do have kids meals(e.g. hot dog, chicken strips, etc). And, they also serve nifty flavored hand spun milk shakes like the PB&J or Salted Caramel(around $ 4 for these). Service was awesome; we were checked on several times throughout our meal. The dining room was clean and spacious. Ordering was a breeze and our food was brought out in no time(twas super fresh off the cook top). I opted for a regular burger but with two patties instead of one(+$ 2). Good meal… average price is around $ 10 per person for the sandwich, a side, and a soda. Side note to restaurant: a few more fries in the little basket and we’re golden.

What a great new addition to the McKinney Burger Line-Up. It is not your normal fast food burger joint. It has a very chic interior which makes it a nice environment for a dinner. We walked in and were immediately greeted by a friendly cashier. I asked her what her favorite was and she said, the jalapeño BBQ burger. It had haystack fried onions, fresh grilled jalapeños, BBQ sauce, and bacon on an AMAZING egg bun. I said, that sounds perfect and was it ever. I have to say what puts this place above Fuddruckers and JCs is the fresh grilled jalapeños. Wow! The hubby ordered the bacon cheeseburger and he commented on how fresh the meat and veggies were. For a side we ordered sweet potato fries that were served hot, crispy and perfectly seasoned. Also, a nice addition is that they deliver your order to your table. The only negative was the patty is really thin(that’s their niche, it is the«smash» a thin patty) and a bit greasy. I also noticed salads, Hagan Daz milkshakes, and chicken sandwiches on the menu. I will defiantly go back to try many other items.

First trip to smashburger today. Prices are affordable if slightly on the smaller side compared to 5 guys, mooyah, etc. Located where to old blockbuster was on 380 next to jack in the box. Around 5.99 to 6.99 for burgers and chicken smashburgers, multiple choices for fries(think steak and shake style) and shakes. Staff was extremely attentive, my friends ordered shakes after their meal without leaving the table. Shakes are made with haagendazs ice cream. Food was flavorful and tasting of freshness(felt like saying it that way). Another quick side note, you can add tons of toppings and sauces to you burgers mostly free of charge similar to their competitors. Will surely be back.
