Had this BBQ the other week in Reston. It’s the real deal. The owner, Ray Bacon (is that his real last name?!) is a totally down-​to-​earth friendly guy. You’ll find him out in front of the truck tending to the smoky meats. I got a big order, a huge portion of slaw and brisket that lasted me for several days of bbq-​y goodness.

Working in an areas where there are limited options for lunch I was intrigued to see the BBQ out front of the building yesterday. I have limited experience with food trucks but the smell in the air was amazing and reminded me of NC. Started off with a BBQ bowl to get a sampling of the tender brisket, beans, slaw and potato salad. What a great experience when unexpected. The building is a buzz so keep coming back and invite your friends.
