Clarks has great comfortable shoes. One sales associate was pretty rude and seemed to be pushing me to purchase a pair. I did try on multiple pairs, but that does not mean I am obligated to purchase shoes. The other younger sales rep made up for the older ruder man. Overall, shoe quality is great. Sales reps are a mixed bag. Pricing is on the higher side. Expect to pay around $ 100 for a pair.

Very difficult sales associate! I had ordered my shoes online and decided to return them at this store. When I opened my package, I noticed that there was not an invoice slip but only a packaging slip which only has the purchase order number, shoe description, and quantity. I thought that was unusual so I contacted customer service at Clark’s online. They told me that I could still return the shoes with just the packaging slip. I even contacted three Clark’s store including this one to make sure that was okay. Apparently the person who I spoke with on the phone(from this store) was not the same one who handled my return. She adamantly told me that I need an invoice slip. I had to keep telling her that the packaging slip was the only thing that I have including everything else that came with the box. I think she was just too lazy to make the extra steps to handle my return. She even made confusing faces as she was hitting the keys on the register. It was so annoying that she had to go hit random keys to make it look like it was challenging for her– I was not amused by this cheap drama. Really?! I was not about to leave until I got my return because I had already followed company return policy. I was hoping a store manager would show up but she was the only person around at the time. Finally after 10 minutes she was able to give me my refund. It’s pretty unfortunate that I experienced this unnecessary scenario because other sales associates at Clark’s have been helpful in the past. I know that this female associate(frumpy with sandy blonde hair– stay clear of her!) has been there for a while so it’s not like a return of this nature is anything new to her. I guess there are bad apples that make everyone else look bad.

When we went to this store in the spring, we had such a bad experience with the saleslady there, that we almost turned around and gave our business to someone else. Clark’s shoes are really comfortable, and my prior experience with that brand has always been positive. However, when we visited around May, the store was completely overwhelmed with shoppers, a pile of shoes sat in disarray next to the clearance rack, and they were definitely short of associates to serve the entire store. There was a sale going on. My mother was interested in a style of shoe, and the sales lady refused to look in the back for more than one color of it. She insisted that she could only take out one pair, and then we could send her back for another. When she did come out with the shoes for my mother to try on, she avoided us by serving another customer that had just approached her first, and was very pushy about the color of the shoes she gave my mother to try. When we asked her to look for the other color, she disappeared for a while before coming back and telling us that they weren’t available in my mother’s size. Would that have been too difficult to figure out on her first run into the stacks??? She pressured my mother into buying the color that we did find, and after some deliberation, we did. The sales associate’s customer service skills left much to be desired, however. There was another guy who answered some questions from my dad, who seemed to be nice, but we will probably not be back.

I have bought all my work shoes(business and business casual) from this store and have always been pleased with the selection and quality. I did feel like once the sales associate learned that I had wide feet he then funneled me towards shoes that were not on sale — conveniently each style on sale was designed for narrow feet. Once I found a shoe, however, they did not have my size in-store so they shipped it to my home free of charge.

I love these shoes. They are expensive but so worth it. You feel like you are walking on clouds. What is more important than your feet? Love them!

I recently brought a friend in to try on some comfortable yet stylish shoes for work(she stands a lot). Justin was exceptionally helpful, patient, and knowledgeable and although my friend tried on several pairs, she ended up getting the original style and size that he recommended. She felt so comfortable and at ease in the store that she and her husband continued to shop, and he also purchased a pair for himself. I’ve shopped in this store several times over the last year and I have never had a bad experience. I’ve been to so many other stores where they just bring you what you want and, if you like it, ring it up. Justin and Gil have both helped me many times, and I have always been impressed with their knowledge and willingness to show me more and more styles and colors. I’ve bought shoes that I never thought I would like(the high-heels they sell are sooo comfortable). The store in Tyson’s I is actually on the upper level near Macy’s(an update to a previous review).

This store carries high quality hiking boots, outdoor shoes, and sandals – with more selection for men than women. If you are familiar with the Clark’s brand, you know their walking shoes have a reputation for being very comfortable and fairly priced. This is the place to visit before heading off on a trek through Australia or New Zealand. It’s a small store on the lower level of the Tyson’s Corner Mall, near Bloomingdale’s.
