Wow, I can’t believe no one has Unilocaled this yet?
Well, Here it goes, I guess the only reason that no one has given the time to review this place is that you pretty much have to work in the building in order to know about it. The building itself houses, you guessed it, the FCA and a few other small tech and govs services companies. Because of this the place is not much for people-​watching unless you want to see Fran from the mail-​room mack down a sando and a side of fries (which is fine if that’s your thing… not judging just saying?). The only other building nearby is this imposing Gov building that looks like they torture people there or they read my review before you read it and now would like to «talk» to me. Those guys filter in now and then to give you your daily dose of mean dirty looks and the latest fashion view of basic black polyester suits.
Buried in the Farm Credit building basement this place has it all (BTW they also call this place the 1501 Farm Credit Café, super creative name huh) Start your morning off with a hearty hot breakfast in the morning with grits (if that’s your thing) and even some Starbucks carafe (SP?) coffee. Lunch fair changes with what ever the staff is feeling and varies from lasagna to fish to turkey… and its pretty damn good. On top of that its really affordable (i think its supplemented but the government agency that bears its name) and actually the space itself has a decent view and a big space outside (which no-​one uses).
The staff here are regulars that do actually put some love in both the product and service.
As I wrote the review I bumped them up a star just because of the people.
Also, ya Can’t beat the convenience of the place too (umm if you work in the Building, if you work in Istanbul. not so much). That’s why the boss man loves it, FBA Cafeteria/​Café keeps us worker bees on-​site and in our cubes/​offices. All right, enough of this prose and dribble. back to work Unilocalers Boss man is watching and does not like what he/​she sees.
