I find the food is always fresh and service polite. Food comes quickly. If they do make a mistake they fix it. I have never seen a drive thru anywhere better managed. I would drive out of my way to get to this McDonald’s over others.

My review is based on the service I have been getting. I assume the food is standard. This place is the only McDonald’s within 3 miles from my home(very unfortunately) and on my way home daily. I have seen poor or lack of adequate services all times. While drive-through may be fast, the lines insides are long and move slow due to apparent shortage of hands and lack of experienced servers. New faces show up nearly monthly at the registers and don’t know what to do. Who is to blame? It seems that the owner only cares about the green bucks! Can the franchise do something about it?

It’s McD’s so you know what to expect and that the food is just so-so…it’s cheap and not bad, but not great. However, I’m giving this place 4 stars b/c they are so efficient. I have read some reviews of bad service here, but I’ve never experienced that. We live in McLean and I use McD’s often in the morning to get coffee and sometimes the oatmeal or egg muffin and they are super super fast, clear, listen attentively(I never have to repeat my order in the speaker like I do at other McD’s or fast food places), and get the order right! I’ve not had any bad service after 20 or so visits(yes, I like my McD’s morning coffee!!) so they’re doing that right!

If I could give this place zero stars I would because every time that I go through the drive-through they somehow find a way to mess up my order. they don’t put in the proper amount of dressings per order and then if you try to get someone’s attention at the next window they either completely ignore you or don’t attend to you for 5+ minutes. To anybody reading this just skip through this place and go the next one because all they’re going to do is mess you up. Also nobody speaks English which makes correcting your already screwed up order difficult.

Having visited many McDonald’s over the years, I have to say that this one is the most efficient one ever! Even though it is still fast food, the service at the drive-thru is the best. They rarely make a mistake and I never see anyone parked in the drive-thru slots where they bring food out because they don’t have it ready. So, if you like McDonald’s fast food, it doesn’t get any better than this.

Been here three times now at the crack of dawn. Ordered my beloved egg and cheese bagels(2) and a large Diet Coke. Got exactly what I ordered except the bagels have been burned every time. In fact I’m pretty confident that the level of burn has increased exponentially with every visit. What’s going on in there? I was the only one in line all three times. We can’t handle a rush of one? Were the staff assembling IKEA furniture in the back and lost track of two bagels on the toaster? This isn’t difficult, people. No litmus paper is required nor is a special scan or probe needed to measure the burniness or calculate a char rating of a bagel. If the bagel looks burned, toss it. Don’t then slop some egg and cheese on it. Dude? I can see that it is burned. You fool no one. In fact they were so burned this morning that I just dumped the unsalvageable bagels and ate the egg and cheese like some kind of barbarian. Luckily I am one so shoving messy food in the face with bare hands is my jam. If I get burned bagels again I’ll have to start collecting information about the employees to enter into a database and cross-reference to see exactly which ones also work at the Sterling Park McDonald’s, another establishment that can’t seem to not burn the bagels.(yeah, I wrote a review for that one too)

This is the most efficient and fast mcdonalds I’ve ever seen. They are constantly monitoring the drive thru lines and move people fast even if there’s a big crowds or long lines. Regardless if how anyone might feel about the chain, this place is managed well and the staff work hard to keep it clean. That’s why I give it a high rating. If you want stellar food, probably need to go elsewhere.

I’m not reviewing the food because that is what it is, you like it or not, don’t give this place a bad review because you don’t like mcdonalds food. The service is great and the place is new and clean. Sometimes they have two staff people plus the intercom outside for the drive in. They keep it moving. Probably the best McDs I’ve been to for service.

Why oh why can’t this drive-thru McDonald’s get the orders right? And when they get them wrong(100% wrong this month — that takes talent) the personnel are unwilling to fix the problem? I have children so have been«driving-thru» much longer at this McDonald’s than I would care to admit, but being now an authority on this McDonald’s, I have to post and agree and say that all the negative reviews below are correct. No one at this McDonald’s is pleasant or even pretends to like their jobs(there was one nice manager @ 5 — 7 years ago who tried but he must have given up). Even though I am very careful about ordering, the delivered order is never correct. So I’ve learned to keep my receipt in my grubby little hand and when I get the bag, check, which annoys the staff — who are RUDERUDERUDE — and then argue with them about what is missing. Of course they can’t read English so they have to go find a manager — all the while talking to others about me in Spanish(and I know what they are saying) and then I point out tothe manager what is missing from the order slip and the manager fixes it. Do they apologize? Never. Are they wrong. Yes. Should they bbe talking about me wanting to «steal milk» from them in Spanish. Yes. Am I correct? Of course. But it happens every single time — the staff just throws stuff in a bag and hopes for the best. Three weeks ago, I didn’t have time to check, got home, opened the bag and was minus two of their more expensive burgers so I’m down $ 10.00. Last week, my husband drove through just for coffee and a diet cola. Of course they handed him the wrong order. They instructed him to park in «drive thru wait no. 1». He sits and waits and about 7 minutes later out comes the staff WITHTHESAMEWRONGORDER. My husband was so mad he just said«that’s IT!» and drove off, having paid, and not having received anything in return. This week I ordered four chicken sandwiches, got home, and found a filet-of-fish(eeuu) in the bag. I have never ordered a filet-of fish. And like some of the other reviewers, the staff that throw the food at you make it feel like you should thank THEM as they throw the wrong orders at you and bark at you to move along, move along. Yes, I have written McDonald’s headquarters. I got a coupon back — for a filet-of-fish. That was about 3 years ago. Nothing has changed. If anything, it has gotten worse. Fortunately I know enough spanish to get me through papas fritas and the always missing leche and café and con queso fights when picking up the food, but it is so annoying to have to check and then show THEM their mistakes using the receipt every single time. Get a disgruntled manager to agree with you and then never say«thank you for coming». Try going to some of the other fast food places. «Welcome!». Today I couldn’t even understand the mumbled spanish coming out of the speaker. I told the staffer that I couldn’t understand. He did it again. I finally just agreed to what he said just to place an order. And they even botched that order and forgot another milk. Oh, and good luck when you arrive home and discover your burgers are missing — I tried calling once and no one will pick up the phone. That was when I complained directly to headquarters. Didn’t help.

I live near this McDonalds and have frequented the place often over the years. They do have the fasted drive thru you will ever experience. However, this place is so focused on making a buck that they simply don’t care about their customers. They messed up my order once last month and basically forced me to wait for replacement food rather than refund my money(I was in a hurry and did not want to wait). Then, today I went there today with my family. They stacked our order on a tray as we were eating in the restaurant. when I picked up the tray a box of chicke nuggets fell off the top onto the floor and opened. I picked them up, put them in the trash and asked for another box(the cashier had been watching the entire thing). The cashier insisted I pay for the replacement food. Sort of crazy given that they are the ones that stacked the food on the tray. In any case, I don’t care about the $ 4. I am just sick of giving my $ to a place where the management clearly does not care about their customers. If you are in McLean, I would recommend the Subway 2 blocks from this McDonalds if you want fast food. Clean, nice and well managed.

I love McDonalds and this one has the fastest drive thru I have ever been to. Literally you barely stop your car at each window and you are moving as fast as you can to get your wallet out so you don’t hold it up. The people are always friendly and it is my favorite McDonalds. There is some nostalgia here too — frequented this place in highschool. Hungry and want something incredibly quick without leaving the car? Go here!

This used to be a good McDonalds. I know that because of how busy they are, they don’t have time to smile. But the sheer rudeness and lack of communication was ridiculous. Maybe if the food was top notch(by McDonald’s standards, at least), but it was luke warm with not at all crisp fries or nuggets. It’s a shame about the single arched closing…

Like other Unilocalers before me, I feel silly for reviewing a McDonald’s, but this one has to have the most efficient drive-thru of any I’ve been to(and, seeing as I have three kids, I have been to countless McDonald’s — drive-thru dining is how we roll). Just today, I didn’t even come to a complete stop in the drive-thru line. One guy took my order while walking alongside my car discouraging me from stopping, then another guy ran my credit card to the next window, and finally a lady is waving me past the pick-up window with my food in the bag. Didn’t even stop. AND they have never screwed up my order. Perfect!

I was running between a meeting in Tysons and my office with two others and we and wanted to grab some breakfast. The drive thru was backed up and I prefer not to eat and drive, so I figured I’d run in to eat. The dining room was clean and well kept, the order was quickly taken and served, but then I turn around to see there was absolutely no place to sit. All of the tables were taken up by septuagenarians milking their senior coffees and middle-aged lonely guys sitting at a table for four by themselves reading the newspaper who clearly finished their food 30 minutes ago. There are two tall stand up tables, but those too were full. I pointed out to the staff that there was no where to eat and people were clearly done eating but were just hanging out and they just stared at me and smiled. The woman behind me overheard me and replied«They won’t do anything…» and she was right. I ended up having to hover for quite a while to snag a table for two to sit for the three of us and ask a newspaper reader who was sitting by himself at a table for four who was clearly done eating when we had first walked in. When we left, there were several tables that were still occupied by the same people who were there when we had arrived who were done eating. It’s ridiculous that with such limited seating they’d tolerate people just lingering. I bet if they were teenagers just hanging out that they’d kick them out.

Despite not having a happy meal, I don’t think that I could have been more pleased with my walk down memory lane with my cheeseburger. Beef patty with cheese, pickles, ketchup, and onions! It’s not that great, and yet it is… so hard to describe that nostalgic feeling. Also I had the MCRIB last night !!! I haven’t had one of these since they first came out with the Flintstones movie in the 90’s. I rather enjoyed it, but perhaps it was the particular store, but there was too much onion in my sandwich and too little sauce. Aside from that, I shall be having another McRib before they retire them for another decade or whatever. Hurry up and get your McRib, they’re only in stores this year for 6 weeks.

You bet your tush I’m reviewing a McD’s! Laugh it up, I’d give myself a «funny» for this one if I could. Which fast food chain has the best fries? Uh… McD’s(hm…excluding Arby’s curly fries, those are fun and yum.) Which fast food chain has better frozen sweet treats? McD’s(yeah, put that Frosty down and grab a McFlurry!) What is more classic than a happy meal from McD’s? Nothing. Of all the kids meals I’ve had in my adult life, none make my heart smile like a kid’s meal from McDonalds. So it was a long day, I needed a burger. Specifically, a McDonald’s burger. I got my one patty burger… and split a McRib… and fries… and their limited time only, Pumpkin Pie. Once I bit into my burger and felt the stress exit my body, and the fat come in. Long day, over. As for the McRib I was told I must try, I’ve come to the conclusion that I think I could live without. Too many onions, too little sauce. It was just weird. The pumpkin pie I bought on impulse? I could also live without. It tasted like canned pumpkin shoved into their pie crust. Of course you can get much better burgers, fries, pie, etc. elsewhere but, when it comes to fast food, you know every now and again you just can’t resist getting some delicious crap from here.

They don’t have McRibs. They’re either asleep or out getting drunk at night, because getting someone to take your drive through order at 1:00am is a 50⁄50 shot. And I have no idea why there’s another McDonald’s half a mile away. Did I mention they don’t have McRibs? But then, none of the damn McDonald’s here do nowadays. Way to destroy my childhood memories, guys.

Oh, this branch of McDonald’s: how many times have you made for a quick, cheap meal at late nights on my way home from the bar? However, never go on a Sunday morning when you can’t find a seat as the place turns into a senior center reading room.

I never really like visiting this McDonald’s. It reminds me of the subtle irritations and battles that I have with suburbia and makes me question why I’m buying a house in the middle of it all. The long lines at the drive thru(all SUVs of $ 40,000 starting or more), the elderly folks who think this place has a kick ass breakfast, and the unfriendly Latin American staff all make me want to avoid this place like the plague. I only end up there when my wife is like, «honey…I’d REALLY like an iced coffee right now…» To such a request, a man can only comply. BUT! Let me go into what happened last night that set me off enough to Unilocal about it: McDonald’s Worker: *hands me the bag and drink then simply turns back to her counter* Me: Hi, could I please get some spicy mustard please? MW: *Slaps a spicy buffalo chicken dip into my hand* Me: Umm… miss? MISS? MW: What? Me: I said spicy mustard… MW: *cuts me off* THATSPICY! Me: Yes, but I said mustard, please. This buffalo chicken dip. MW: *groans, takes the dip and tosses it back into the container before slapping the right sauce in my hand and turning her back on me… AGAIN* Me: Miss, could I have one more? MW: *slaps three more into my hand and I drop one* Me: Umm… thanks? *drive off* I wanted to park and go back in to pull out the long tree branch that was apparently jammed up her ass earlier that day. While I understand that minimum wage rarely allows for pleasant conversation or an overwhelmingly happy employee, I’d at least hope that you can say the expected, «hello, thank you, and good bye» that’s expected at a drive thru. I can surely say this — it’s changed a lot since I worked a McDonald’s drive thru some 10 years ago! Damn, now I sound like those old folks who love their breakfasts!
