This place is poorly managed and run. The manger has no people skills and is rude. It took them 25 minutes just to give me one samosa which wasn’t even cooked all the way. The one is Springfield mall is way better, it taste awful in Tysons. I don’t know what they are doing different here, but it is just bad all the way around.

This is my favorite kabob place. However their service makes me take 2 stars off. The food is awesome, but they are really slow. The last two times I went there it took around 20 minutes. in a food court. But couldn’t complain since the food was so good… love the beans too. I eat a lot of white sauce when eating kabobs but they don’t give more than one. :(

The food is great here. Unfortunately they were not prepared for the day after Christmas. I waited for 30 min to get my food. I finally asked what the hold up was. They didn’t have enough beef ready. The lady behind the counter was so nice and apologetic. I asked for my money back. I’ll be back at a better time for them.

Very expensive food. You’re paying for the price of their mall location. Also, I don’t expect awesome service from food court restaurants but the people at this place just seem angry. Yesterday, we ordered food to go because being pregnant, I can’t sit still for long. We told the guy at the register to go before ordering and once the receipt was printed, it said dine in. We then told him that this should be ‘to go’ and he said OK. When the order was ready, it was not ready to go… we asked for it to be bagged and they bagged the food but not the extra sauces we paid for. When we asked for lids for the sauces, she threw the lids in our face. Should’ve gone a lot better. Quality of the food is not that great as well, there are a short drive away that have much better food(Shamshiry for one or even Moby Dick). Unless your stuck at the food court, go somewhere else.

This place has gone down the drain. When it opened it was the best place in the food court. It has steadily declined. The owners are too focused on opening new branches and do not have the manpower to maintain the existing ones. I had two bad experiences in a row, wishing that I did not eat the food. It’s expensive, you wait a LONG time and the quality is consistently degrading. The chicken still tastes good“ish”. A bit undercooked, but edible.

Avoid this place. The last few times I’ve gone it has taken over 20 minutes to get my meal(even when it is not particularly crowded). The staff is rude and inattentive. The manager will blow you off when you go to him to raise any concerns. The chicken kabob, as well as the kubideh, is average and not worth the price or the super long wait. The gyros is terrible. You’re better off driving to Moby Dick’s or Shamshiry — the food is much better and you’ll actually get good customer service.

Burned kabobs! Very Disappointing. This place used to be good. I went today after a long time and it is absolutely not the same any more. I ordered chicken kabob combo which half of it was burned, over cooked and dry. Salad included in the combo had to dressing. Bread was nothing to write home about. The only thing partially reasonable was brown rice. Will avoid this place next time.

For the price the meal is below par. I ordered the Kobeeda & Chicken Combo– #5 for $ 18+, not including tax. The kabobs are very dry and some parts were even served charcoal burned. Definitely not worth the price. The service is also slow for little to no customers. I would recommend going elsewhere for the bang for your buck kind of deal.

This place has great kabobs! Don’t waste your time on the gyros, because the kabobs are so good! Ordering a gyro here is like going to a steak house for hamburger. The flat bread with yogurt sauce is awesome. The platters usually come with two types of rice, a salad, and some really yummy chick peas. I would have given this place five stars, but the food is a little expensive for a mall food court. I paid almost $ 21 for a chicken and kofta(beef & lamb) kabob. Plus the service can be a little slow, but that is normal because they are actually cooking meat on skewers right in front of you. Slow food is almost always better than fast food. If you are coming here just to eat, I recommend parking on the sixth floor of the AMC parking garage. That level has a walk bridge that takes you directly to the food court.

I decided to get a quick dinner before a movie, and made the mistake of choosing Grill Kabob. Service started out poor when the cashier was having a very nice conversation with the couple in front of me, with absolutely no regard for the line behind. Once I finally ordered my gyro I stepped off to the side to wait for my order. Orders were coming out 1 every few minutes and the customers around me were all growing impatient. I had counted on having 20 minutes before my movie would be plenty of time to get my food and eat, but was I wrong. It took 20 minutes to just get my food, and when I told them I had a movie and just wanted a refund, they kept arguing with me that it was«about to come out.» They didn’t even bother to turn the machine on until they had completed the order in front of mine. Finally 5 minutes later(25 minutes after ordering) my gyro came. And there was my second mistake of the night, trying to eat this«food» that came out. The meat was dry and cool. Completely inedible. They gave me no napkins and argued with me again when I went back to ask for some. There’s $ 10 down the drain as it was better to throw it away than continue eating.

Solid… but slow. I grabbed food from here after having forgotten to eat for some time, so I was rather desperate. It’s a food court sort of place, so I didn’t expect much, and you shouldn’t either — expect basic seating, plastic cups and trays, etc. Prices here are RIDICULOUS even for the area, even though some aspects of the meal(the carbs) are plentiful. The food here took way too long to cook(~15 minutes), though it’s excused by the fact that it was cooked fresh. Unfortunately, the food was not worth the wait. The huge helping of two different kinds of rice was nice, but really — who needs that much? It was simply overwhelming. The naan was similarly way too big, and a bit too crunchy for my tastes. The meat was simply OK — it had a decent amount of spice to it, but scarcely enough interesting flavor to make it beyond meat. The chickpeas were overly strong, which kinda balanced it out — I ended up mixing that into the food. All in all, I can’t exactly say I’m a fan.

I’ve been going to this location of grill kabob for years and the food consistency has stayed the same. Out of all the places in the food court, I have to say this is the best. It is worth the wait. Grill kabob is pricey — a combo is about $ 17 with tax not including a drink. It takes awhile to cook. I’ve stood there drooling for 15 – 20 minutes before they finally call my number. The staff is lukewarm at best(hey, they move fast for a place that grills fresh to order). Chicken can sometimes be a little dry. Now we got the cons out of the way, let’s get to the good stuff. 1) amazing, delicious, hot naan with tangy, creamy yogurt sauce. They run a serrated, pizza-cutter like tool through each piece of naan to make it easier to tear apart. Also, the pieces are huge! 2) lots of delicious rice with each platter. They give you a combo of dark and white basmati rice with a sprinkling of buttered rice on top. Probably don’t want to know the butter content of these but it is kick ass 3) always fresh salad 4) delicious lamb, beef, and the most flavorful, juicy Kubideh I’ve ever had. As I mentioned earlier, the chicken can be on the dry side but it is super flavorful too. I usually dip it in the yogurt to give it more juice! 5) more recently, they add a small bowl of chickpeas to every platter order Grill Kabob is my go-to when I go to Tysons corner. I am not ashamed to say this is my favorite kabab restaurant in DC, MD, VA because they do it well and their lunch crowd following agrees with that, too.

This is literally the only kabob place that i can eat at. The food is a little pricey but honestly it is worth every penny the chicken ans beef is cooked to perfection. Boatloads of rice… i always find myself going back

Love this place, one of my favorites. The lamb shank are my favorite. Soft tender, fall of the bone kind of lb shanks are my favorite. Decently priced for food court food. It’s about 15 dollars for the lamb shank which comes with two different flavored basmati rice, small salad, naan and yogurt sauce. The yogurt sauce is not your typical Mediterranean yogurt sauce. It’s a little thicker than usual but it’s good. Must try. There’s usually a long wait if you come here on the weekend if you have anything that needs to be grilled. They gyro sandwich are a must as well.

Other reviewers who commented on the bad customer service and price gouging are correct. Don’t eat here if you’re in a rush either. I’ve had slow experiences here in the past but just today, before ordering, I asked approximately how long my order would take. The response was«6 to 7 minutes.» After 26 minutes had passed, I asked the manager what the holdup was. Rather than an apology, I got an angry look and was told«I’ll make it right now.» Under my breath I said«you did say 6 to 7 minutes.» The manager heard me and yelled at me pushing the back of the line further back and said«it takes 6 to 7 minutes when the grill is empty — The grill was full when you ordered.» I said, «I simply asked you how long it was going to take.» The manager then yelled at me to «move out of the way.» Ive truly never been more publicly embarrassed at a food court in my life. Other things worth pointing out are that prices are insane if you go off-menu. If you only want a skewer of meat, or let’s say just the salad, be prepared to pay the same price as a full entrée. It’s very discouraging ordering here. Bottom line is that their food is average, which is acceptable as far as where to go in my book. However, there’s no excuse for the above average rudeness and the lethargic pace of preparation — especially when you have a Five Guys in the window next door cleaning up.

My favorite kabob place. I’ve only seen this particular kabob place at malls(here, dulles town center and montgomery mall) and all three are consistent with their flavors! wear your fat pants when eating this. The portions are huge. Each meal comes with rice and a small side salad. The bread is so good especially when dipped into the yogurt sauce. I always have the chicken, it is always seasoned and cooked so tender. The kabobs are cooked to order so be prepared to wait a few minutes. They also have hot foods to choose from but i never had the chance to try them yet.

The kabobs here rival any kabobs served at a traditional restaurant. Along with the kabobs come two types of long grain rice, a salad, bread and now a side of chick peas. Prices have gone up over the years, and be wary of finches flying around the food court. Someone needs to call the health department on Tysons food court.

I really hate to change my rating from four stars to two, but I just can’t stand bad customer service. I’ve been frequenting this place for as long as it’s been open and I’ve never had any issues. I love the food and usually I have no problems with the staff. BUT I came here a few weeks ago and the person who took my order was extremely rude. I requested to have the salad packed separately and have only brown rice instead of a mix of both. Not such an unusual request since I didn’t want the salad to get soggy since it was a carry out order and I don’t want to pay for the white rice if I leave it untouched. I’ve been ordering that way since the very beginning. The man who took my order didn’t understand me at first and then said I couldn’t. When I explained that I’ve always ordered this way he was very annoyed and said he would do it for me this time, but only as an exception. His face expression and hand gestures were very aggressive, so I said forget it and took my business elsewhere. No matter if it’s fast food or fine dining, customer service should be a part of the whole deal. I will not return to any restaurant if the employees do not treat their customers right. Safe to say I will never be coming back here again. I know that I shouldn’t judge the place just based on one employee, but I do not want to experience that kind of treatment again.

Not bad for Kabob. I’d give it 3 ½ stars if they didn’t charge extra for extra dipping sauce. How cheap can you be… chicken and beef is always juicy/tender. The bread used to come out warm and soft. Now it’s flakey/hard and feels like it was left out for a while

Pretty surprised that Grill Kabob was pretty good for being something that I got at the food court at Tyson’s Corner Mall. The boyfriend and I had shared the #2 platter(believed it was the chicken kabob platter). Service was pretty slow, but when we got our dish it was well worth it. The chicken was moist and juicy, nicely flavored. The mixed combination rice(believe it was just brown and white rice) was a nice compliment to the dish. The salad that accompanies the dish was the standard iceberg lettuce mixed ish you get from the bag. It wasn’t that pleasant, it left that nasty after taste that you get from lettuce that isn’t that great of a quality. Ask for the spicy green sauce and the white sauce to go with the dish. It is the best. Also, it was a tad bit pricy for something off of the food court but I’m glad I got to at least try it.
