Buyers beware! Jesse at Tyson’s Galeria appears to be out of business. Just called Jesse’s distributor in the US who confirmed my suspicion. If you expecting a delivery from them(like us), consider contacting your credit card company … maybe you’ll get your money back.

I don’t know how this store survives at Tysons Galleria mall? I never see customers here and we have been to this store on 3 occasions and it has hard to get good help every time. The furniture looks good but is way overpriced compared to peers. The sales person’s attitude was not very friendly as if we had no business being at the store! BoConcept here I come!

There used to be 2 reviews for this store that Unilocal for some reason filtered. I do not understand why, as they were both useful. They were stressing the looooong amount of time one has to wait for their order to arrive. I would be OK with that if the sales people were sincere about this. We ordered a piece in July. They said it would arrive mid October. I called them end of October(hadn’t heard anything from them in the meantime). They said effectively that I shouldn’t be expecting my stuff so soon since the factory in Italy is closed all of August. Again, if this had been communicated to me when I put my order I’d be OK with it and decide whether I still wanted the item based on that. Let me also note that the person on the phone was quite rude, not only did he not apologize for the delay but also seemed kind of annoyed like I was wasting his time. A month went by without hearing from then. I called again about mid November or so, and the person on the phone told me that the furniture is on its way and I’d have it for sure before December. Late November they called saying that they will charge me the full amount(I had already paid half of it upon ordering) because the furniture is at customs. It’s now early December, my credit card is charged, and when I called them they were *very rude* and simply informed me that the furniture is stuck at customs. Not once did they say ‘I’m sorry for the inconvenience’ or anything to that effect. I was planning to buy more from them, but with this kind of customer service I most likely won’t. I will updated my review to comment on furniture quality once my order is delivered. In the meantime I hope Unilocal doesn’t remove the 3rd negative review of this place.
