Top Chef Café has no relation to the TV show, so don’t get your hopes up! It’s an office building café, but is open to the public. You can’t see it from the outside, but it’s on the first floor of the building. It might be more helpful if I could tell you which building, but I honestly can’t remember! When I entered I was expecting typical burger, grilled chicken, cheeseteak type fare, but they actually specialize in greek food. There’s a variety of grilled items, and also a hot bar where they serve standard greek dishes like moussaka, pasticcio, and grape leaves. I tried a spanakopita from the hot bar, and got a chicken hummus wrap from the grill. Spanakopita was actually pretty good, but I was disappointed in the wrap. It just had a weird flavor to it. Next time I’m back I’m definitely sticking with the hot bar. I’ll likely be back when I need a change of pace from the usual workday lunch spots, but I wouldn’t go too far out of my way for it. If you work in the area, this would be a great option for something decent, cheap, and quick.
