I am very impressed with the service plus the marionberry infused bourbon was delicious!!! Also try the Parmesan fries! They are delicious and the ranch is wicked good! ;)

My wife and I went to dinner here tonight. It was«gourmet comfort food» as advertised. I had the Mac and Cheese with blackened chicken. Delicious. My wife had the chicken Caeser salad. She really liked it. Friendly wait staff, great selection of local wines, not expensive. Will go again. Craig B.

What an excellent dining experience I had at Café Uncorked. Food was excellent, wait staff(owner) was ridiculously friendly and other diners made we feel very welcome. When I travel I often eat alone so having people to talk with is always a plus. I found this place on Unilocal then after reading menu saw that it uses local seasonal ingredients knew it was worth a visit. Food was excellent, it was clear that thought went into the menu and preparation. I started with the crab cake, which was just the way I like them… plenty of good size crab that’s lite on bread crumbs and mayo. Next was a spicy pasta and sausage dish. Sausage was excellent with just enough kick in the sauce. Finished with a chocolate cake that took me over the edge. Lastly, the local vineyard Pinot Noir was excellent. Good food good people… can you ask for anything more? My only complaint was that I did find this sooner in the week so I could have visited again.

According to their website, they are open 7 days a week, dinner from 4 – 8 pm. With that information, a group of us planned to meet at this seemingly nice café in the middle of no where for an anticipated great dinner and wine. We got there at 4:45. They were closed. Hours on the door still state open. Really?! Don’t post hours on your website if your not going to adhere to them. I’m adding one star though since we discovered an amazing glass blowing shop right next door.

While visiting my sister in Salem, she suggested we have dinner at Café Uncorked and my husband and I are so glad we did. From the moment we walked in the greeting and ambiance felt comforting. Our meals were wonderful and my husband still raves about the clams and linguine… out of this world! The flavors were great and although it had a creaminess to the sauce it was light. Absolutely delicious! Wine was delicious as well. If we lived in the area, Café Uncorked would be a regular eatery for us!

Café Uncorked was hired to provide the catering, rental and rehearsal dinner services for my recent wedding We had some doubts before we signed the contract and issued our 50% deposit but she turned out to be the only local caterer that fit within our budget. Although her food seemed to be pretty good at the tastings, her poor follow-up was always a concern. A little over two weeks before the wedding we met to confirm details for the rentals and catering. Because of her lack of response by email, many details had been discussed over the phone and without email documentation. Suddenly she decided it was necessary to charge us for items that we were told would be complimentary. Prices had also been increased on some of the basic rental items. After reviewing all of the details face-to-face I sent her a follow up email and a requested a revised quote. NINEDAYSLATER, and less than a week before my wedding, she finally took the time to respond to my email. Should I mention that she somehow found the time to promptly respond to my mother’s inquiry about adding additional appetizers to the menu? The day before the wedding the chaos continued. Half our chairs were not delivered with the original rental drop-off and the remainder arrived during our rehearsal. My dad had to leave me to help direct her employees and I had to walk down the aisle by myself. We ended up being late to the rehearsal dinner that SHE was hosting at Café Uncorcked. Although she had said she would try to seat guests in other parts of the restaurant to give us a more intimate setting, there were several other groups seated at adjacent tables which made it very odd for toasts and speeches. The day of the wedding, her staff showed up dressed extremely unprofessional. My event coordinator had called repeatedly and emailed many times to communicate an appropriate dress code but surprise, surprise, no answer. One server was wearing tennis shoes, jeans, a white printed t-shirt and a hot pink sports bra that showed through. In addition to her staff’s appearance, she ran out of food and there was no chicken entrée for the last 3 tables. There was however plenty of pasta left over that contained so much garlic that I was curled up in the fetal position with a stomach ache on my wedding night. What a nightmare. I would have preferred to have had guests sit on quilts using paper plates and cups and purchased trays of food from Costco than deal with this company again. Don’t make the mistake of lowering your standards, just because of the price…

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve driven by this place in Bellevue, Oregon. As you may or may not know, Bellevue is approximately 4 miles north of Sheridan on Highway 18. It’s right at the junction of the Bellevue-Hopewell Highway. I pulled off here yesterday on my round trip back from Sheridan and found the place virtually deserted at 4:30pm. Granted they do close at 5:00pm, but I found it strange that there were only a few stragglers in patio area. When I walked in I found out why they were out back. The place has no air conditioning. It was warm in there and the staff was doing the best they could to keep it cool. They had the door open and all(there were many) ceiling fans going. I decided a tasting was in order. For $ 5 they had four wines up for a taste. 2 reds and 2 whites. The reds were from Brooks winery and the whites were from Washington. She didn’t provide any background on any of the wines, but then she may not have known either. The bonus the tasting was $ 5 and she said they vary what wines they offer often. Fee waived if you purchase. I didn’t realized until I stopped in there that have full dinners, etc., there. There were many tables and a huge kitchen in back. When asked she indicated they made meals to go as well. She showed me a menu and it looked like they had a lot of good stuff. I will be excited to come back and try it when it cools off. She did caution me that they would be going back to winter hours after Monday(Labor Day) which has them closing at 3pm on most week days so it will only be the weekends, in which, I can try them out. I’m excited to give them a try later on.

Spent the day at the beach, driving back to Salem hungry, and there is NOTHING that looks remotely appealing(or even open) along the way… until we stumble onto Café Uncorked. Boy and I glad we did! I ordered a Pulled Pork sandwich and my wife the Ham and Guererry(cheese I can’t pronounce) on Sourdough and Walnut bread. They were awesome! Also had to try the Marian Berry pie, a fitting end. We bought some excellent wines to take back to a dinner party with friends. All things considered, and excellent stop!
