Smith and Company Painting, Inc

We have completed numerous jobs with Parker and his crew both at our business and our home. I’ve had numerous experiences painting and with various painting companies and when I’ve finally found the right company I can rest at ease.
Parker Smith completed a full re-​painting of our home in the Portland area and they did an amazing job. Parker took numerous trips to our home to get the color just right. The crew was incredibly capable, professional, and conciouncicus making sure that they picked up each day before they left and didn’t miss anything.
Our job was extremely challenging in that we used a semi transparent stain over an existing semi transparent stain that had faded and it had to be «spot-​on». If you have ever owned a home where this was important to you I can tell you that they did an amazing job for us. In addition to the grey stain it was necessary to repaint all of the white trim work around our home. This was properly prepared and sanded to minimize any of the bumps and transitions normally seen between old coats and bare wood. I’m also a stickler for paint cutting and transition between trim and siding. I don’t like seeking an unstraight or messy «cut».
The interior work completed by Smith and Company was exemplary. We had numerous cabinets that were finished in a white paint that we wanted black. This included the inside of the cabinets and out, shelves, doors, etc. And, we didn’t want to see any brush marks, we wanted flawless and that’s what we received. Everything looked as if it were painted in a booth, then assembled. If you have ever painted black over white this takes professional talent since you have to apply more than one coat.
I’m going to try and share a picture of the completed project of the outside of our home because I thought they did a fantastic job. I hope they get the business they deserve; however, I just hope they don’t get overbooked for the next time we need them.
