**UPDATE TO MY ONE STAR REVIEW**
Still one star, the review is accurate. Attached is the email stating the work was completed, and an invoice I received THREE DAYS before the balance was due. The payment is in the mail.

SFW did siding repair and paint on my 1909 home. They left tape, pieces of plastic drape, lead paint chips, sandpaper, and other materials around the house that I had to pick up. All of the plants around the house and garage were sprayed with paint, though the contract stated that all plants would be covered. Workers showed up without notice early in the morning a few times after I requested advance notice because I work night shift. My back door also ended up being painted in error.
The positives are that the team kept coming out to fix problems (like paint on roof shingles and on the cement foundation) until everything was resolved, I was given a $ 250 credit towards plants, and the paint does look nice. I did expect better quality, more attention to detail, and fewer problems for the price and the professionalism the company presented itself with initially. I would not use this company for painting again.

I am so happy I found these guys! I am in the process of selling my home and had a couple of inspection items that needed to get fixed asap. The first contractor I had scheduled was unable to come out within the time deadline due to an unforeseen illness, so I contacted Steve at SFW Construction. He was able to get a couple of workers out quickly to do the needed repairs. The workers were VERY knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. The price was reasonable too. I will definitely be calling these guys again in the future as the need arises. If you are looking for a contractor, I would definitely recommend SFW Construction!

Steve and his crew were very friendly and approachable. Steve was always quick to respond to our calls, and addressed our concerns quickly to the best of his ability. Steve stands behind his work and won’t stop until it is done correctly, even coming out on weekends if necessary. The crew worked very hard and the results of our siding and window install project showed high quality workmanship. There was excellent communication during the project about status updates and progress. The company is very busy at this time and there were unanticipated delays getting started, with poor communication in that regard. This was difficult since we chose Steve based on his personality and drive — he was very knowledgeable and capable of the job we were tasking him with — and on the expectation of completing the project at an accelerated timeline. The timing didn’t work out for us as we were hoping.
