Great beer and wine selection, good daily specials, and much better food than other bars in the area. Highly recommend the sandwiches. Also has great atmosphere with plenty of space to relax with friends.

My fiancé and I went here one cold evening. The atmosphere was very warm and cozy. We ordered sangria which as on the cocktail specials card sitting on the table. What we received was not what I considered sangria. It was wine with a little club soda and a couple of slices of apple. Any where I have ever had sangria it has been a mixture that was allowed to sit so the fruit and wine tastes could blend together creating a delectable concoction. This«sangria» was ok at best, definitely not worth ordering again. The food however was pretty good. I had a turkey and Brie panini and my fiancé had a hummus plate and a caprese salad. We will come again however I will be picking a different beverage.

Best beer and wine selection in Mebane! I have just recently discovered this gem in the quaint downtown area and should have been patronizing it since moving here there years ago. We’re craft beer lovers and have been yearning for a bar close by. If you love wine, this is the place to go as well. Food is okay, but they are experimenting with the menu now and I hope to see some new stuff soon.

The place looks nice and is nice, but the wine is too over priced. I could buy the bottle and get more out of my money that way.

Cozy atmosphere, great outdoor patio, excellent beer, wine & cocktails selection. Great appetizers, panini sandwiches, & very friendly people! Open 7 days a week, too! Go downtown Mebane! Steve was super nice & friendly. We’ll be back!

I have been 4 – 5 times. I walk in and tell Robbie that I want a glass of white and a glass of red. He never disappoints. The décor is amusing. It looks like someone bought several rooms of dining room furniture and plopped them down in a wine bar. It has an odd charm about it. I take my wine drinking friends there. They always like the wine, the ambience, and the experience. If you want beer or liquor, go somewhere else.

Great atmosphere, friendly and warm. Robbie is a terrific bartender & makes incredible recommendations from their wine selections. Wednesday night tastings are a GREAT deal, get there before 7pm to take advantage. We usually have a bottle and you can order anything listed by the glass by the bottle instead. Also, try finishing your evening with the Tawny Port. It’s different but an interesting nightcap. Checkout their Facebook page, they have some nice local bands occasionally and because of the size(small), the lighting, and a slightly more mature crowd … those sessions tend to be pleasantly informal and intimate. Hard to believe a place«this cool» is tucked away in Mebane. But with all the great little places springing up on Clay St, Mebane Knights is PERFECT!

Stopped here on a Saturday afternoon. What a wonderful experience. It is like stepping into someone’s living room and having a nice glass of wine. As a bonus they had a steel drum/jazz band playing outside which was really nice. They have a great wine selection and beer selection of which my guests and I had a little of both. Will be back!

Pros: superb beer and wine selection; good range on draught and bottle, very well thought out local, national, and imported microbrews Super laid back atmosphere where you can hear and converse with folks without screaming; patrons are welcoming Outdoor HEATED patio Card tables inside Good music and live bands Friendly and knowledgeable staff, bartender makes you feel welcome, and has that old world style of banter that you’d expect at a upscale joint — very welcoming and appreciative of business Local owned, Orange County and Alamance county staff! Food is good match, lighter fare Owner is open to suggestions for improvement Good location on Clay Street Cons: No liquor, so drinks are limited to beer and wine Food selection limited right now — not really expounding on gourmet options Beer selection limited as compared to bigger pubs, but since its very well planned, I don’t really consider that a true con(who cares about having 50 beers on tap when 45 of them suck?)

Mebane Knights has a very laid back atmosphere. Everything is super clean, usually live music on Saturday nights, and there’s outside seating. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about different styles of beer and wine, and there’s always something great on tap. If your hungry try a panini or the meat and cheese plate… you won’t regret it!
