I’ve eaten here a few times and the food never disappoints! Everything my family has had has been delicious, generous in portion and fresh. A few stand outs for me in the past were an amazing peanut butter pie and some delicious soups and quiches too! The owner and staff are all friendly, attentive and have tipped me off to some great local shops/things to do in the area. Highly recommend the food.

Wow! What a place! The salads and the sandwich options are healthy and great. The owner Lorna is so hands on and with that brilliant smile just melts your aches away. She has a golden heart for the poor too. No one goes away hungry!

Confused as to why they say they are open and at 6pm, they are not. Made the trip down here to find an empty parking lot and dark interior. Nice exterior though…

I ate here while visiting my sister. The food was delicious. I had the curried chicken salad, and my sister had tuna salad and clam chowder. Everything was great. I wish I had ordered a bowl of chowder myself. We didn’t order any alcohol, but they did offer a variety wines. They also had several coffee beverages. I’m sure we’ll be returning in the future.

This place is a gem — perfect little friendly small town spot to grab a bite. These are the best, freshest sandwiches and dishes in town. I highly recommend the turkey wrap, ham sandwich, and Reuben. The Reuben was a true New York Reuben, that will be my go-to for Reuben cravings. Everything here is made meticulously. Lorna is the owner and chef who I met when I visited the first time — she is so friendly I was an instant fan. She takes the utmost care in using the freshest, organic ingredients. I have been really impressed by the meats for the sandwiches — they are always high quality. The décor is spartan but the outside seating on nice days is cute. Honestly though, once you try the food none of that matters! They do take out — I’m thinking this will become a regular place for me!

In from out of town for a wedding. We wanted to find a small local place for lunch. We found this neat little café. The atmosphere was just what we were looking for. The food was fantastic. I had the curried chicken salad with the pasta salad. It was fabulous. My wife had the salad that was huge and loaded with eve r Hong you could think of, including walnuts, craisins, feta cheese and a wonderful spring mix of greens. This with the homemade balsamic vinegarette. What a great dressing. I sure wish we lived closer, we would eat here all the time! Service was great, and you could tell they truly cared to make sure you liked the food. Great job.

We’ve had several yummy lunch experiences here. We always go in with little ones. The food is great and fresh! They have nice GF options. The owner is always pleasant and accommodating. The service is good. Had a couple hiccups with our order the last visit, but not a huge deal. They corrected it quickly. Sometimes the items on the menu sell out quick if you get in there late, but this is expected with a small restaurant like this. Overall a great place to grab a yummy lunch.

I honestly didn’t have high hopes walking up. Low traffic outside, probably due to the closure from the ice storm the night before, gave me pause. But the wife had heard about it and wanted to try it. Boy, I am glad. It’s a café /gift shop /small restaurant that features a small menu of home-cooked items and specials lovingly made by the shop’s owner. I ordered the roast beef sandwich with provolone and the soup of the day — a chicken soup with roasted corn and red pepper. The resulting orgasm of deliciousness in my mouth was a bit surprising. The only real fault I could find with the food was that the roast beef was a tad cold in a few spots — but I was too busy honking it down to care. The soup was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The wife ordered a Greek sandwich and said that it was really good if a little heavy on the cheese, a condition which she cured by eating all the cheese. This place is a great little gem on Clay Street that I really hope more people find. I will definitely be back. One note: they’re currently selling their chicken salad by the pint. Not sure how long this will last, but apparently, if you want any, you need to hurry because it sells out fast.

I had lunch here two days ago and the quiche and salad were excellent! They are so nice and friendly here! My daughter had their key lime pie this summer and she says its the best she’s had — ever! Really a great place!

Disappointing. The food was served on styrofoam with plastic forks, and the iced tea came in a styrofoam cup with too much ice and very little tea. My wife ordered quiche with a salad. The salad lettuce was brown and wilted. I ordered an albacore tuna salad on some kind of harvest bread. The tuna salad was bland to the max, and the bread was so stale that it came out cracked. No one ever came to ask up how we liked the food. We were really looking forward to visiting but will never come back. Nothing seemed fresh, local or natural.
