Sheetz

The cashiers bad attitudes can’t keep up with the volume of business this store has. They have no problem with saying they don’t care about sales. Most sheetz are better than this and have employees well trained. QT and speedway blow their service out of the water. Sad because they have a great concept.

Ch so gas and fairly clean. Kind of hard to find cleanliness anymore in gas stations. Maybe one day, idiots won’t leave their car at the pump and stay in the building for inordinate amounts of time.

I love Sheetz. This location is pretty good. Gas prices are the best in the area, if you have a Sheets rewards card. The food is comparable to Subway. Easy in and out. Lot of pumps and lots of customers. Recently upgrade car wash is very good and reasonably priced.

The service sucks! 50 people in the line and 1 person waiting on everybody! Your prices and food are NOT that good! So we left and went to a better place with better service!

Slowest pumps ever. Been here waiting 10 minutes just to get to the pump and now I see why. Five minutes later were at $ 30 and still pumping!

I don’t really know what’s going on with this particular Sheetz location today but it seems as if the associates don’t want to be at work. The cashier that «assisted» me threw my requested lottery tickets on the counter as if she didn’t want to touch them. I don’t do well with bad service so hopefully the next time I visit this particular sheetz location the service will be better then I’ll change my rating. Shameful.

The latte with double espresso shot was well done. The staff were be bit grumpy. No options for vegetarians except for cheese quesadilla.

Absolutely disgusting. The entire place was filthy. Empty cups, tickets and trash on the floor. Half filled coffee cups, cups of coffee with curdled creamer, and spilled coffee at the coffee station. The line was so long, people left their items and walked out. The women’s restroom had overflowing trash, plus toilet paper all over the floor. Heard great things about Sheetz. This was my first visit and I am quite disappointed. Not a stellar ending to the holiday travels home.

Sheetz is always one of the options to stop and get gas just off Interstate 40. This particular location is on the same exit as the Tanger Outlet Mall.
There is a large shopping center, including Walmart, just across the street so this particular exit can get quite busy. Be aware of that during the Christmas holiday shopping season.

Seems to consistently have lower gas prices. I try to always stop here when travelling in the area.

Sheetz is a sheetz. It’s nothing major to talk about it.

Cheapest gas I have seen in a while. Only $ 3.36 with your sheetz’s card. Easy to get in and out. Lots of quick food and drinks if you need something for yourself for the road.

Best sheetz location I’ve ever been to. They have very clean bathroom and even tables to eat your food at! Highly recommended rest stop!

I have grown up around Sheetz and now that I no longer get the chance to stop there as frequently, my visits now seem far more enjoyable as they’re usually paired with other exciting events like trips to Charlotte or the airport. This location specifically nailed my order both visits and on the second has the NBA game on in the lounge area where I enjoyed some good playoff action. I love Sheetz and this location makes me feel at home again.

A good sheetz. Gas is the cheapest around, and customer service is decent… the burger I got was ok… not what I was expecting… wendys may have been better. but overall good place to stop.

I love sheetz! I go once every two weeks to get gas. There is almost always a line but I just use the time to tidy up my car.
I used to eat at Sheetz every time I got a chance to but it is really a wreck to the diet so I have laid off. I used to crave the food but I can’t say I miss it anymore.
They have a lot of stuff, pretty much everything you need for a successful pit stop on the road of life. My favorite is the bathrooms are usually really clean but every once in a while you hit a bad one.

I am in love with the concept of Sheetz. I love being able to get gas, a peanut butter doughnut, a Mountain Dew Slushie, and fried pickles, all in one location. I love that the staff is nice. And prices are reasonable. I love that gas here is always a few cents cheaper than nearby stations, especially with a Sheetz card. I Iove the occasional freebie, said card entitles me to. Not to mention the amazing free air pump outside that takes all the work out of keeping your tires properly inflated. No excuses ladies!
BUT I hate stopping here.
I hate waiting for a gas pump while the idiot ahead of me goes inside for a hotdog while leaving his car at the pump.
I hate the non-​flow of traffic. It doesn’t flow. At all. Wanna total your car? Drive around a busy Sheetz parking lot for an hour.
I hate having to turn left onto Mebane Oaks Road while leaving Sheetz… this location NEEDS a light.
But, I love Sheetz. Sadly, although I live 4 minutes from this location, I’ll only stop during off hours to avoid the chaos.

On the upside, there are lots of food items here, it’s really convenient to I-​40, and there are a lot of gas pumps.
On the downside, the lines are long, and the parking is problematic. Also non-​employees are really oblivious to everything (employees seem great). That’s not reflected in the stars on this review, but trying to get in and out is problematic when someone just kind of wanders into the parking spot you’re trying to park in.

When you pull into a place and you see the parking lot is full and the lines at the gas pumps are at least two waiting for each pump, you know somebody is doing something right. This is that place. Convenient, right off of I-​85 in Mebane, easy to get in and out, but one does have to wait their turn.
Even more interesting, this is the first place where I’ve seen that one can place their food order via touch screen while standing at the fuel pumps.
