Bed Bath & Beyond

We rarely shop here (mostly because the parking lot is absolutely crazy). We went in today looking for kitchen anti-​fatigue floor mats (we were admiring my sister’s over the holiday). While in the store we were approached by two clerks checking in to see if we were finding everything ok (shocking as I rarely see enough staff in this store– a pleasant improvement). We found two of the mats we were looking for. My sister gave me some expired 20% off coupons and told me they would still honor them — which they did (another pleasant surprise). The only disappointing thing was the front end of the store. They had two cashiers and lots of customers. It took a REALLY LONG TIME to check out. At least the cashier was friendly and helpful when checking out.
This is a big box store and I prefer to frequent small businesses. That being said, this was a good experience overall.

This was my first time shopping at a Bed Bath & Beyond. Boy oh boy is this store overwhelming! Such a huge selection of items for your home. Everything is brightly lit and arranged in a way that says «I know you probably don’t need me but buy me anyway!». My husband and I came here for a top of the line juicer that was pretty expensive. Fortunately BB&B puts a lot of 20% of coupons in magazines which helped us out big time. This particular location seemed very understaffed. The store was pretty busy and we could only find 1 cashier and 2 employees on the sales floor. When we asked the first sales associate where juicers were, she pointed us in the general direction and ran off. Thankfully, another sales associate named Dave came to our rescue. This location didn’t even have the juicer we wanted in stock so Dave called another store and had them put it on hold for us. He even pronounced my uncommon last name perfectly on the first try!

It’s my favorite as seen on TV store. Without actually being a «As seen on TV» store. Everything from kitchen gadgets to home décor can be picked up in these aisles. Sharper Image also sells through them so since there is none in the area, some of their wares are here too. Prices are pretty decent on what you are getting and the staff is friendly about helping you find whatever you are looking for and also getting it for you if it’s on a shelf thirty feet up.
