late night snacking at Denny’s with scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns & wheat toast! Same as breakfast but the timing makes it taste so unique!

always had a good time here. good food, fair prices, we love their appetizers. waitresses always kind and quick here. people dont over evaluate(reg other feedbacks here) this diner. its a good cheap place to have a quick meal. dont tell us stories about franchising etc, if u pay $ 11 for fried chicken, mashed pots and veggies what the hell do u guys expect. food is good for the price, if u wanna have fancy food u need to pay fancy prices. period. i served seven years in the US Army in germany and trust me, they have places which they call«american diner» even tho they r not even able to spell it correctly(c my comment reg Connies Diner). they did serve shitty food, call it fancy and charge a furtune and rip of german customers who think what those people serve is american food. so whatever u will get at this Denny s it ll b a way better then what other people get overseas when they get told its«american». anyway…they need to clean this place better, realized that most times when I come from CARLISLE heading home at nyt that a lot of garbage is lying around and that the restrooms need some serious attention.

Denny’s — an american staple restaurant where at one time in history they set the stage in restaurants in lock step with Friendly’s. Over the years the quality, brand and reputation of both food and service has been costly to the Denny’s of Mechanicsburg. Help that look like the cast of the Walking Dead. Piercings, exposed tattoos and then complain why your tips are low. As I was sitting two servers were cleaning a section discussing how another person has been accused of stealing tips from tables. In this day and age, employee surveillance is in place. I hope this Denny’s reviews the standards from years ago before their business suffers additional decline. The food is on par with my x fiancée cooking except for the lack of firetrucks.

Decided to give a second chance so my wife and went for breakfast Saturday. Seated pretty quick. Food came out in a few minutes. Went to use the pepper and the whole top was slimy like grease. We began to eat and realized that our plates were filthy not the first time. They were so busy they were just using the plates before cleaning them. The place is a filthy mess they don’t understand wiping surface so. Look around you won’t stay.

Used to be my go to diner. That has changed. Staff is rude. There was obviously some kind of argument or discussion going on in the kitchen that could be heard in the dining area, expletives included. Not what you want your children to hear! When I asked the manager to please do something about it, that request was met with defiance. Food was ok. Service was awful. Not doing that again.

I’ve visited here a few times with some mixed results. The food is pretty good, so I can’t complain about that. Sometimes the wait staff here is a bit slow, particularly to refill drinks after your food comes out. I’ve had a waitress completely rush my date and I out before. She was acting like she was herding cattle instead of waiting tables. Overall, my general experiences here are about a 3. I last visited here 11÷01÷15 and my server was Janet. I highly suggest you ask for her if you come to this establishment! She is the reason why I’ve rated this place a 4 instead of a 3. I’ve been to many restaurants and have been served by many different wait staff, but Janet was truly sublime! She is extremely courteous, kind, and pleasant. I was there in a large group of 7 people, and she truly gave us a 5 star experience!

Nope, we are not returning. This Denny’s did not meet the mark. What was served was sad. My egg omelet swam in grease. Bacon tasted almost rancid. Coffee service was spotty and seldom. Too bad. But they did have free wifi which appeared to be why several were there.

Seriously!, Denny’s used to be my kids favorite place to go for birthdays. I just loved going there with friends after I leave the Bar. One of the best things in the menu in my opinion was the Tilapia with Ranchero Sauce. Then they took away the sauce altogether … the absolute best part of the meal was the sauce. I usually got that with the rice pilaf. Perfect together! They took away that altogether with no other option but a whole grain rice. That altogether was the first straw. The second straw was steaks not being temp correctly. The straw that broke the camel back was the infestation of flies. Every time, time, and time again flies didn’t matter the season. I figured the flies was eating more than I was and wasn’t chipping in on the bill and I was finally over it and never went back.

Ask for Janet! Most professional waitress there! Food is good but place needs updating.

Service was amazing at this Denny’s. We came in after a wedding expecting to be treated like trash because we were a little dunk and looking for hamburgers and pancakes. Mike(possibly the manager) was so courteous and nice and said«yes» to whatever ridiculous drunk request we had. I would definitely recommended this Denny’s no matter if you’re sober or drunk. You’ll get great service and a good meal. As my fiancé would say, «It’s the«tits».

Good, but not great. Denny’s, being a franchise, has to meet up go a specific set of expectations and, for the most part, this particular location does a fair job at meeting those expectations. However, there are also certain aspects I’ve witnessed during my dining experience that I feel this particular Denny’s location could improve. For instance, my party was sat down quickly, but it took what seemed like forever to meet our server and get our drinks ordered. After we got our drinks, we didn’t know what we wanted immediately. It seemed like they kept badgering us what we wanted, more than just common courtesy asking us if we were ready. After we ordered, it took really long to actually receive our food! Which was odd since it seemed to us that they were trying to rush us out the door(don’t worry, we were far before closing). While we were waiting for our food, a lot of the servers were standing around the drink station and talking/texting on their phones. There were plenty of customers, I feel like their time on the clock could have been better used. When we finally got the food, it was alright(7⁄10). Nothing particular was wrong with the food itself; however, some of the party’s meals were colder/warmer than the others. Don’t most, of not all, restaurants have some sort of heating mechanism to keep meals warm while they prepare the rest of the ticket? Overall, my experience at this Denny’s location was average. They met most of the expectations that you’d expect from franchise, however the staff could use minor improvement, maybe possible re-training. Furthermore, the food could use better temperature management when reaching the consumer. I would come to this Denny’s again, for sure.

Horrible. We were seated quickly but they obviously have staffing issues. Took forever to see a server. We ordered as soon as she came to our table but waited forever and a day for our food. We both had chicken fried steak and eggs. Steak had a weird gross texture. Gravy on top was flavorless. We were charged for two cups of coffee when we only ordered one. I didn’t catch that till we had already paid. By then I just wanted to get out of there so I let it go. Never again.

Blech. The best thing I can say is the food was mostly edible. Daughter’s clam chowder was so salty it was almost inedible. My chicken sandwich had almost no flavor. Even the pico de gallo was almost flavorless. Son’s mac and cheese was boxed and bland(worth about twenty five cents). The celery that came on the side was brown. Hubby’s smothered fries got a passing grass from him. I didn’t think they looked impressive. Ugh. Never again.

I went to Denny’s today and ordered the never ending pancakes. All I wanted was the pancakes and a cup of coffee. I got on the pancakes was burnt things and green stuff. Now I have certain food allergies and I carry in my car an epi pen. What I had on my pancakes I asked the waiter what it was. He said some veggie they used in an omlette and that they make it on the same grill and it may not have been cleaned off. Meanwhile my tongue began to swell and I was given the bill. I asked to speak to a manager. She came out pregnant and all and said Oh I’ll just take off the pancakes. Did not offer to call for medical help or to call 911. I made it to my car with my tongue and gums swelling. I injected myself and took Benadral. I was lucky my son drove me home and the swelling on my tongue began to go down and I took steroids that was given to me just incase. I would not go back to this Dennys or any Denny’s after this experience. I called the Corporative office which is it is impossible to get their number and I was told risk management would get back to me. I have been here before. I thought after they redecorated they got cleaner but they didnt Last time I was in there I was bitten by fleas. I suggest until they get their act together everyone should beware.

Went here around 3am after a night out. It was amazing. My boyfriend was sober and still thought it was very good. Our meal literally came out in 3 minutes. Waitress was extremely friendly. Yay Dennys!

It’s a Denny’s. They try very hard to make every Denny’s like every other Denny’s and for the most part they succeed. I’ve eaten at this particular one several times. Each time the food was good and the service fast. The wait staff at this Denny’s seem particularly nice. The place is clean and pleasant, although on this occasion the floor could use a quick sweep. I’ll absolutely be back.

Better then the bob Evans across the street. Kids night is always executed well. New coffee is a big improvement. Prices are reasonable

I really can’t tell the different between Denny’s, Shoney’s, IHop, Waffle House or any of the other places that serve mass quantities of breakfast food. Denny’s is not actually a bad place to load up on cheap protein and carb in the morning if you are on a road trip. Beats hotel food.

Just so long as you don’t come in here around when the bars close, you’ll be ok. The servers are pretty good when it comes to being patient and friendly. The food is pretty good at this location but the cook did have some problems with making toast… C’mon, really? It’s toast, Oh well.
