So, I found a bug in my meatball. My wife had to hide it and throw it away so I didn’t freak out. She told me a few days later. I’m pretty grossed out. It wasn’t very good to begin with, but also being unsanitary, never again.

A weekly lunch spot, I order from their delivery menu almost weekly. They are eager to please and are great about dining options. Food is pretty good for any small Italian venue. Recommend trying one of their rolls, chicken bacon ranch roll, yum! They bring a card reader for deliveries which makes payment a cinch. Enjoy!

Customer service is great, prices and delivery time are also good… but pretty disappointed about the food. We ordered the garlic knots and brunettis special and the bread, ESPECIALLY the knots were so so so stale that I had to rip it out of my mouth to break the bread :(my two toddlers love love love garlic knots, so it says something when they only take one bite and don’t ask for more ;(pizza was pretty good but again, the crust was on the stale side :(My family and I may give it another try one day in the future, maybe

I have to start by saying the staff is friendly and the pizza taste delicious. I would give this 4 stars but when we ordered our second delivery order one of the pizzas was really soggy. I don’t like a soggy pizza so I called and they quickly made us another pizza, only to have that pizza be very soggy as well. I would order a salad or a plain cheese or pepperoni pizza but not anything with more than one pizza topping or it will be a soggy mess.

Have ordered take out thin crust pizza(our favorite type) several times and it was consistently good every time. The thin crust is still tender and they use quality cheese and toppings which is required to have a good pizza. It is always done right and ready on time still hot and fresh tasting. It is my go to place take out pizza!

just tried to order an extra large takeout pizza with bacon and black olives. my 5 year old wanted just cheese on hers, so i asked them if they could do «a quarter of the pizza with just cheese. They told me they can’t do that because they only do halves??? not like we werent going to pay full price… whatever they lost a customer.

Great deal 10″ pizza and a drink for $ 7.75. Pizza is great. Trying meatball. Mushroom, and onion toppings. Delish!

LOVE Brunettis. I have only ever had their delivery. I have always received fast friendly service and delicious food. A great alternative to your typical take out places. I also love that they have a full menu besides pizza. The Stromboli is my absolute favorite. We also have a gluten free family member who raves that Brunetti’s is the best gluten free pizza he has found so far.

I don’t get the bad reviews either! Best pizza in the area. I always get it when friends form out of town come in. They are always impressed, and they always help out the local schools!

I’ve been a couple times so far. I mainly have gotten take out. The cheese sticks are amazing! Highly recommend them and the order is huge. Have also enjoyed the pizza and salads as well. Overall I think it’s a great place.

Bad Experience We visited Brunetti’s Express on Atlee Rd based on Friends’ recommendation. We ordered one Large 14″ Bruschetta Specialty Pizza + Chicken, Sam Adams beer and a Glass of Merlot wine. Cost: ~$ 22. We’ve previously ordered Bruschetta pizzas in Boston and Chicago. Those pizzas were very delicious. They had thick crust, plenty of feta cheese, covered with baked vegetables and pieces of chicken. At Brunetti’s we waited 30 minutes for the order to arrive to our table. The Bruschetta pizza had a very thin crust and covered completely in chopped, unripe raw tomatoes. There was no feta cheese, no olives and no chicken! The Beer bottle expiration date was in 2 weeks. We will not return to Brunetti’s Express on Atlee Rd.

Great owners — the nicest in the ville. Willing to make it the way you want it. Great prices. Gluten free items — make Italian possible.

Unlike the earlier reviewer, I can clearly articulate why the terrible reviews. This used to be a nice restaurant with decent Italian at a reasonable price. Since they moved to the«Express» version they have reduced the service and food quality tremendously while maintaining the prices. I took my mom and son here for dinner. She ordered the fettucine alfredo with chicken. They actually cut up fried chicken fingers and put them over spaghetti then covered in alfredo sauce that tasted like it was from a can. For the same price as an Olive Garden meal, you receive Hardees level service and worse food. Absolutely will not return and strongly recommend that you don’t either.

Not sure why this place is receiving poor reviews. Ever since I ordered lunch, a delicious sub from Brunetti’s Express, i’ve been hooked! Just went to the main Brunetti’s on Atlee yesterday. Tried the chicken parmesan and standard turkey subs. The chicken parm was decent but forgettable– the sauce boring. The turkey sub with everyone on it, lettuce/tomatoes/onions/mayo/oil&vinegar was superb! Drooling thinking about it! A bit expensive. I paid $ 18 and change for two 8 inchers. Out of all the sub sandwich places in Hanover county, Brunetti’s has been by far the best. Repeat customer for life here.

Our waiter was pleasant and took good care of us. The other server was a female who apparently had a cold because she was coughing and wiping her nose with her hand! Gross! I don’t like how the two of them would sit at a table and work on rolling silverware while carrying on their conversation. It’s too laid back for me. Maybe I’m being too picky. So if you don’t mind an ultra casual place — you might enjoy it here. The wedding soup that my hubby had was yummy he said. I had a personal pizza that was pretty greasy but what I expected.

Looking for authentic New York pizza in Richmond? Brunetti’s has the closest you’ll find… it’s thin crust, large pies with just the right amount of cheese and sauce. And during the week, they run specials where pies are $ 5 apiece. Brunetti’s is a family-owned restaurant with humongous portions, and they do decent pasta dishes(I had lobster ravioli there and thought the sauce was a little too thick, and it was light on lobster taste… but it was all homemade… I’ve also had their rigatoni with meatballs– again, huge plate, covered in cheese with fresh sauce, but it was a little too sweet and thick for my taste). But the real reason to travel out to Hanover is for the pizza!
