The interesting thing about McDonalds is that no matter where you go, you can always find some sort of consistency in the food, service, and overall feel for each of their locations. However, this is not the case for the Mechanicville Micky D’s. If you are looking for the best of the best, a possible picture perfect display of what McD’s is really capable of, look no further than Mechanicville, NY. The reconstruction of this restaurant a few years ago in this blue collar city changed McDonald’s everywhere. Historians claim for it to be the first Micky D’s chain to implement complementary wifi, with some calling it «one of the greatest achievements known to man» and others saying «this location has truly bridged the gap between technology and food.»

Been here a couple times, they only messed up my burgers once but in their defense my order would confuse anyone… Hash browns are always nice hot and crispy, burgers are always very good, grilled onions here are excellent:. One of the best McDonald’s environments I’ve seen, I’d recommend this one over most I’ve been to… The service inside is nice and speedy, drive through can get backed up easily… Not too bad… Free wifi isn’t too bad here nice flat screen tv, nice booths… I’m rating this one highly because I’m not counting other types of restaurants, just the fast food category because, well that just wouldn’t be fair but in terms of fast food this is a great place

OK why am I reviewing McDonalds… Not a clue. IF you decide to eat here breakfast is the only thing I would order. Their bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit was a fav of my when I was a kid. Sadly I stop coming here because let’s face it, McDonald’s is the worst of the fast food restaurants out there. Their products are the lowest of the low. For a few more bucks I can go to a diner and get a breakfast sandwich made with better quality ingredients. The reasoning for me coming here is, my mother in law wanted their big breakfast. Disgusting if you ask me, nothing like eating a microwaved pancake. YUCK! The service here is a mess, always a big line with no structure at all. Also a word to the wise plan on being next to a bathroom after eating their food, it is all grease. Save your money and go eat real food somewhere else.
