I went back to big lots, but this is now again, my fault. I bought a box of chicken not checking the expectation date. When I got home, I opened the box to find out it had expired on March 20, 2015. I bought the item in August, yes August. 5 months past, the date it should hve been removed, the manager, was very honest and told me she had another 2 boxes with the same bad date. I did return it and had, I been treated right things would hve been forgotten. To my surprise, the cashier knew all about it, but then it happened, he had to check the date obisouly, making me feel like I was a liar! I talked to Heather, from what I understand is the manager and how I felt about the treatment. I will give her credit, as she agreed it was uncalled for. I told her, other people would hve called the health dept, and she should be happy, I didn’t. Heather even offered me a 20% discount, which I said was not necessary. I just hope this is the last time. Just beware all customers when you buy edibles!

Our family spends money there every month at the Grants Pass location. We went to Medford cause a product was out at Grants Pass. The item was over $ 500 but under a $ 1000. Quite a bit for a Big Lots. J. P. The furniture manager was a great kid to deal with. But when finalizing the deal a Heather, store manager got involved. How she is the manager I have no clue. Very poor customer service. Challenged us on details to pick up this over sized item the next day rather than working with us. So much so we just left. Unfortunately we must go back to get this item as my wife on Mother’s Day really wants it. BIGLOTSUPPERMANAGEMENT this manager needs training or a demotion. J. P. On the other hand should be considered for management above Furniture manager. Heather I hope you were just having a bad day.
