Dollar Tree

Every time I used to go to this store the temperature was so hot that I couldn’t stay. I mentioned this once to a cashier and she said that they couldn’t control the temp, as it was mandated by «corporate» to stay at a scalding temp year round. She said it was awful to work there. Well, it’s awful to shop there, too, and I’ve found better places.

It’s just a Dollar Tree. I am a bit biased towards it, mainly because I live close and frequent this one most often. Their seasonal sections are great for cheap, yet cute decorations, party favors, candy, etc. Halloween, Christmas, Easter, 4^th of July. all super cute themes and they seem to always have something you need.
They also have a great selection of laundry/​cleaning supplies, cold & frozen food and drinks, snacks, beauty and cosmetics… all for $ 1 or less. They also have a variety of party favors/​gift wrap & bags, however they don’t change often and the birthday themed plates and stuff that I remember having as a little kid are still there (12+ years later… still the same lol).
It really is one of the better dollar stores. Friendly employees and lots of selection to choose from. My only reason for 4 stars and not 5, is the lines. Be prepared to wait aka do not come here if you’re in a hurry. Sometimes it takes 30 seconds, sometimes it takes 5 minutes. Just depends on the amount of employees that day. Still my favorite DT.

Dollar store, great place to shop! However I end up putting the merchandise I planned to buy, on a shelf, and leaving. They seem, to b more concerened on putting merchandise on the shelf, then having the cashiers to check the customers out. When, I have asked the cashier to please call for more help, I am ignored or told no one is avalible. If your lucky enough that they do call the majority of the time, the cashier comes up, opens there register and says, I am open, instead of going to the long line and asking the next person inline. Because of not doing it the right way, the people at the end of the line run over and I am left. GET IT TOGETHER dollar store price is important, but lousy customer service can destroy your prices!!! PS rember if you want some extra cash they charge you, of couse its only a dollar!

Needed some wrapping paper for a birthday present for my godchild while I was enroute to Washington. This place saved the day on June 30^th. I was surprised– the store was well-​maintained, the AC worked, the clerks were friendly, and, looking around, it was not a place of strewn, broken pottery (See my Santa Clara Dollar Tree review for reference.). Store seemed to be bigger than many of the California locations, too. I’m not complaining. I found what I needed.

Organized kinda strange from other Dollar Trees I have seen. Hard to find things. Other than that they have a much larger freezer section than the Central Point location and it’s also a larger store with more variety. The cashiers are always nice.

True to Medford form, it’s smaller than most Dollar Trees. It’s still a good place to buy «throw away» items – seasonal junk that you don’t care to see again the following holiday.
Everything is a dollar or less, of course, and so it’s worth it to stop here for things like the above mentioned items and also dog and cat toys. Since they’re getting destroyed anyway, why pay more than $ 1?
