Shoddy take out service! Upon my arrival to pick up my pizza the cashier immediately asked me to pay bill then allowed me to sit and wait for my order for 10 minutes. The pizzas were apparently ready when I arrived but she ‘forgot’ to give them to me!

Best pizza in the area… hands down ! Great friendly staff… they have great specials and are more reasonably priced then that place on the corner of Taunton/Tuckerton

First time at Dilisi’s. I went in for the Gluten Free pizza but went a different route after looking at the menu. Waitress was nice but couldn’t grasp the gluten free concept. I ordered the Chicken piccata with GF pasta(they serve inexpensive corn pasta). No where was there a $ amount for the GF pasta, usually restaurants add $ 1 – 2 for the pasta(which I understand). Dilisi’s charged an additional $ 4 for the inexpensive corn pasta on top of the $ 15 for the chicken. I asked about where it was itemized on the menu… It isn’t !! Waitress was telling me that they have a formula based off the pasta/sauce price… sure and this formula is printed on the menu??? Have a heart Dilisi’s for people with Celiac disease… there is no need to extort them!

Place looks great on the inside. I have been a long time Delisi customer at the previous location on 541… however was not happy with today’s experience. I walked into the restaurant and was not greeted. I then proactively ordered two Italian sandwiches… which at an Italian pizza-joint, flying the Italian flag out front, should be a lay-up… Took fair amount of time to receive the sandwiches. When my buddy and I opened them up we couldn’t believe it. The sandwich was thin and only had a small layer of meat… only two meats; ham and salami. Bread was decent, yet soaked in oil. Lastly, the only tomato that made it onto my sandwich was one sliver at the tail end of the sandwich… and it was the stem cut. Lots of amateur mistakes on rudimentary order at an Italian place. Very suprised. Hope this was just a one time thing.

Romano panini terrible! It tasted like frozen chicken out of a box! The waitress said they pre-cook the breaded chicken, which makes it «Romano», and take it out of a drawer when needed! It was dry, soggy, and the breading just fell off the chicken. I’ve had sphagetti w/meatballs, which had a bland marinara gravy, lasagna and a hamburger w/french fries before and all were below average! Their garden salads are always yellow and hard white pieces of iceberg lettuce with some brown edges! I don’t understand the poor quality! The only reason to go there is for the seafood combination which has always been very good according to my wife. We ordered resotto one time and it was terrible! The chef didn’t have any idea what he was doing! All the good reviews must be their relatives or employees who have no idea how to cook! I will say that the rolls they serve are good.

This place is great for what it is, a pizza place. They are super casual, but friendly, fast, and the food is decent. I don’t usually order meals here but will in a pinch. They don’t deliver which is annoying but the pizza is usually pretty decent! For being so close to kg it will do :)

Been a fan of Dilisi’s for probably close to a decade now at least. Good to see they grabbed a venue that is better suited for sit-down dining(across the street practically from their old location). Food is definitely above average. I cannot find a better Sicilian, or what I like to call Sfincione. I mean, I love the traditional pies but sometimes I crave that tomato, scallion, parm, and bread crumb style. EVOO. Love it. It is fantastic here. Not found around every corner, let alone a place that makes it this well. The menu is well put together for a legitimate authentic Italian restaurant and the recipes are spot on. I will say I can understand how someone might figure their food is a little on the bland side. They are definitely on the conservative end of salt and pepper use. May be a good thing for some people with health issues, but yeah, I did find myself adding quite a bit after it came out. Service was an 8 out of 10. I don’t think it was intentional at all, but our party of 8 did wait around for quite a while for bread, salad, food, condiments, etc. I’d definitely be back.

Bland, bland, bland. Not amazing, as someone erroneously reported. Tasteless, like every pizza place in the Medford area. Honestly, these folks need to get out of the area and taste some real pizza, maybe in Philadelphia, then start from scratch. The pizza here is just not good.

The Bottom Line Arguably among the best pizza in South Jersey, Dilisi’s in Medford offers both square and traditional pies, in addition to a menu of classic Italian dishes. Pros: Amazing pizza, available by the slice, Watch your pizza be made, Affordable, High-quality ingredients Cons: It’s in the middle of nowhere, Food takes time, You won’t be able to wait to come back
