Foreign Body Works

My car was hit by a front end loader during a snow storm this past winter, and I was concerned that I would have to take my car (2010 Charger) to a Dodge dealership to get fixed. My primary concern was a color match. I was referred to this shop by the family mechanic who had used them in the past and told me that they were really great when it came to color matching. When I picked my car up it looked like new. I couldn’t even tell that it was changed. They blended it with the rest of the car flawlessly (after doing it twice because they weren’t satisfied the first time) and even recommended a rental car shop to me.
They get busy, it took two months for them to get my car in the shop, but it was worth the wait. Especially if the color match is something that you’re concerned with. I would definitely take my car back, and would recommend them highly to a friend.

When you get into a fender bender, it’s always a pain in the butt, hours of time and aggravation, insurance process, etc. These guys take some of the pain out of it because they are the salt of the earth. They have worked on my cars for 30 years, always smart about what’s needed, upbeat, clear communications. Very respectful to my wife when she needed work on her car. Always excellent work. The same three guys since the first time I went there.

So I stop at the gas station one day and decide to check the fluid levels in my horrible Honda Civic. As I pull the hood release, I notice that it has remained in my hands and the cable is pulling out. Hmm. Okay, so now I have a hood that won’t open on a car that needs frequent attention. Not a good scene. I call 5 – 6 places and they quote me somewhere in the neighborhood of $ 400 to replace the part plus labor. Okay what?! $ 400 for a stupid cable? I don’t think so…
By some stroke of luck, I was stopped in traffic outside of Foreign Body Works. They have their number on a banner outside, so I decided to call and get a quote, just for kicks.
The guy who answers listens to my explanation of what I need, checks the computer and goes…”$ 60″. I say, okay but how much is labor? And he says…“That’s including labor.” SOLD!!!
So I bring the car in at 9am on Friday and he has it ready by mid-​day. The hood opens like a charm and the price was exactly what he quoted me. Great sucess! Would I recommend you go there for any auto-​body needs? You betcha.
