As we pulled up, we saw a multitude of people and not a lot of open parking spots. Apparently there’s something to this place. Inside was full so we sat outside on a relatively mild partly sunny afternoon in February. I’m a plain Jane burger person. Saying that, my burger was good — the kind of burger you can tell is individually made and quality. My partner in crime got the camel burger which wasn’t anything to scoff at. Fries come in a little galvanized bucket. These I also could eat my weight in. Cons: this is close to the road. Like, one step past the fence and you’re on a four lane highway. So there will be noise if you’re seated outside. There is limited spacing inside so I’m assuming most people end up sitting outside. Also, there was some jackwagon who parked directly behind our car(where you CAN’T park) and blocked us in. That was fun. I’ll come back. Maybe set up hazard cones around my car, though.

Made it into Jasper’s this past weekend on a visit to Medford. Growing up in Southern Oregon, I started going to Jasper’s when it was only serving hot dogs. They are still the best I’ve found and I hope that never changes! Their burger menu is off-the-hook! Talk about options and ingredients to choose from. I have never, ever, ever had anything that was less than delicious there! On the downside, it’s hard to get into because it’s so incredibly small.(seems like all the great places are) and I’ve never been there when it wasn’t slammed. That being said — the service is excellent and they move around the crowd taking orders. The cooks are moving faster than I’ve ever seen anybody move… The best bet, in my opinion, is to get your order to go. It’s well worth the trip… don’t miss this spot!

Burgers here are great. I always get the fresh cut fries and the fact that they fry with peanut oil makes them taste delightful, but found that if you get them to go they’ll easily get soggy(wish that wasn’t the case). Something about their lemonade is unique too, when it’s hot out I drop by solely for a lemonade.

Hands down the best burger I’ve had in Medford! Small, comfortable environment and great service… could have honestly gone without fries because the burger was huge but tasty all the same… We will definitely be back :-)

Little place in Medford, 39 min away from the California /Oregon boarder, old but well kept with an old western Rodeo theme(does not look like a gimmick, but of genuine rodeo interest/heritage). Extensive burger and hot dog menu, the bison burger was awesome! Very flavorful and big, so was the BBQ burger. This was a hidden gem, or maybe not so hidden! Readers choice from 2007 –2015

One of the best lunches I have ever had. The burger was outstanding. The restaurant is a bit small. The staff was great. It’s a shame I was only passing through Medford.

Thems are some pretty dang good burgers. It’s sometimes too busy inside to turn around, so they’ll deliver to your car out in the parking lot. I didn’t care for the shake… something about the taste of the ice-cream.I can’t put my finger on it. Anyway, the burgers and baller onion rings are where it’s at.

The service and food at Jaspers rocks. You don’t mind the wait because the staff is constantly updating you on your wait, taking your order, making you laugh and feel like you are long time customers, even when it’s your first time. The burgers l, fries and onion rings lived up to their reputation as being the best in Medford. We’ll be back

Jasper’s has become our go-to spot when we want something different. The last time we went got the Jiffy burger and the veggie burger. Sweet potatoes fries always a must. Service is great. Nice people. Don’t be in too much of a hurry. Depending on when you go it could take a few extra minutes. Thanksgiving is around the corner and have already made plans to bring the kids for lunch.

Two stars for the service and 5 stars for how great the food smelled. Unfortunately my family and I didn’t get to experience it due to the complete lack of customer attention. At first we walked up and there are big yellow signs letting customers know to wait outside for seating. We waited… Waited… And waited. No one approached us. Two customers walked in the restaurant and self seated themselves. I went in and talked to the cashier and explained I like to sit down and he informed me he had to check to see if anyone else was waiting first. I told him they had seated two other customers ahead of us. There was a table outside and they seated another customer ahead of us who had just arrived. I knew right away there was No real leadership on duty, just a bunch of people trying there best to get people fed. I wasn’t about to spend my money at a place that was gonna charge me $ 10 for a burger and not give me excellent service. I called the restaurant upon leaving and asked to speak to a manger. I was told there wasn’t a real manager on duty, then a guy came on named Eric and sighed heavily and asked what I needed. I asked to speak to a manger and he said he was kinda a manager. I told him I wanted to speak to a real one and he said Shelby wouldn’t be in till Tuesday. TUESDAY! Two whole days without accountability. Wow. I can’t wait to speak to Shelby on Tuesday and tell her how her restaurant is running when she isn’t around. Maybe by then I could actually get seated. –waiting to be seated.

This place has the elements of a cool little burger joint. I ordered the jiffy burger with sweet potato fries and came with a refillable fountain soda. The burger was an irregular shape, indicating hand fashioned, real meat, not a processed patty. Included within is real bacon(2) and peanut butter on two fluffy buns. Yup, peanut butter. It works. Although skeptical at first, it made for an interesting flavor combo. Usually I’m a fry guy, but the burger won out as incredibly satisfying. It’s like a step back into the 70’s. Bench style seating inside and out. If it gets cold outside, you can request blankets. Minus 1 star for«forgetting» to give me the happy hour pricing. I could tell by the server’s reaction of surprise that I caught it, not that she failed to apply the rate. I still tipped 20% for the good food and attentive service. I would like to return to explore the menu.

Awesome burgers! My boyfriend is a burger snob and we both loved this place. He got a western burger and I got the jiffy burger with peanut butter and bacon. So good.

We’ve long searched for a good local place in the greater Medford area other than Kaleidoscope Pizzeria & Pub and have struggled to be impressed. Meanwhile, local fishing guide Steven Theel of SO Chrome Guide Service took us here for lunch and we enjoyed every bite. Jaspers is a stand alone burger joint that has outdone its borders. It’s destined for a larger, nicer building where it can serve new and more customers. It’s won Best Burger in the region for many consecutive years and likely will continue to do so. Unlike places like Five Guys and In N Out, which are coming to Medford, Jaspers doesn’t just have simple, small hamburger patties. They specialize in quality hand-padded burgers, with fresh ingredients and offer dozens of concoctions that aren’t normal at standard burger joints. You’ll find unique cream cheeses, toppings, dressings, cheeses and more slapped onto the top of burgers. Ordering just a cheeseburger is boring here. Try something with Fritos, creamy goat cheese, raspberry balsamic, or a mix of the trio. You’re pallet will be introduced to combinations of flavors it’s not accustomed to. Jaspers impresses by offering more than standard veggie, turkey and hamburgers. On the menu shine elk, buffalo, venison, boar and other meats that bring more flavor and something unique. Fortunately, portions rivals the quality of meats. You won’t go home hungry. Meanwhile, Jaspers isn’t going to impress you with a slick, new, modern building, complete with flat screens, a powerful air condition and comfy booths. The building might scare you from the outside and the tiny five tables inside resemble Del Taco. On the other hand, the service is top-notch. In fact, the owner greets everyone with a welcoming smile, and inviting personality and staff members have obviously been taught the value of service. When you get a chance peek behind the counter, there’s a handful of cooks sweating, panting and excited about making a special burger for you. This place is designed for greater things and fame, and many locals have obviously figured this out as lines and lunch and dinner remain the norm. The new owner has done special things with Jaspers. When you meet him, don’t be afraid to congratulate him. We need more local spots like these. On a side note, if you’ve been to the Dallas area, think Twisted Root. This business is a mirror of that small, yet successful chain.

If you are ever in Medford: you MUST go here. Friendly service and great burgers. But what I really love about the burgers is that there are SOMANY options. Even Portland does not a offer a burger joint anything like this. Ever had a Himalayan Antelope burger? I didn’t think so. Seriously, the amount of meats and number of off-the-wall ingredients here is staggering. I don’t know what Portland has against non-beef-chicken-pork-fish-shellfish meats, but they are quite hard to find in a place that considers itself a diverse food mecca. I was in Medford for work, for a couple months, I had almost every type of meat they offer. All were excellent. Great place to sit outside at during the summer too, soak up that sweet, sexy, Southern Oregon air! If you’re really boring and just want a classic, boring cheeseburger, they do those too! No worries Gramps!

Very good burger. The burger selection was awesome. And you can get any combination of all the 40 burgers that you want. Not that is really your WAY. We tryed the famous burger that had peanut butter on it… Weird yes! But my buddy thought it was amazing. I will try something different next time. Fries ok…

The menu consists of well over 40 types of burgers, including wild boar, elk, kangaroo, and kobe beef. There are also classic beef burgers, turkey burgers and a veggie burger(although I don’t think the veggie patty is made in-house). My favorite thing to order, however, is the Jamaican jerk chicken sandwich. It was perfectly spicy with complex flavors, balanced with sweet mango. Jasper’s also offers a nice selection of milkshakes and malts. I like the chai milkshake for its beautiful blend of sweetness and spice! Chocolate peanut butter isn’t a bad way to go, either… The place is tiny and seating can be difficult, but if you have the time, the wait is totally worth it. The staff here is super friendly and accomodating.

Wow! I’m not a huge burger fan but this place was delicious! The quality of the meat is juicy and delicious. I got the Jiffy which had chipotle jam and peanut butter with bacon strips. It was tasty but I think I would’ve preferred my friend’s burger. She got the Ringo when she had barbecue ranch with chili cheese Fritos with an egg as well. It was so delicious even with the jalapenos. I also got an Oreo shake which was good. The service was friendly and the waiter even sat down with us to take while ordered. Can’t wait to return!
