On our way out of town, we joined my in-laws for breakfast at Parkside. This place fits the«old time diner» genre — lots of seniors here and people all seem to know each other and the staff. I ordered a single biscuit with gravy, knowing that my wife and kids would not likely finish their various omelettes, pancakes, etc. Good food and while not especially speedy, the wait wasn’t too long considering the place was quite busy for a Monday morning. I’d say my biscuit and gravy was«okay» — I thought the omelette portions I tried were actually better. The space is clean, comfortable, and great for family dining. I’m guessing we’ll be back on a future trip to Medford.

Awesome breakfast place, country-style restaurant with great waitresses. :) Just in Medford for one day but this place made us feel right at home, was VERY busy(which is how we knew it would be good) but we were still seated and served quickly. Cool old car memorabilia and antiques on the walls.

Amazing breakfast food, I had the eggs benedict and the smoked ham that cam with it was amazing. I usually get pancakes or french toast(which they also do incredibly well) but I decided to branch out. My boufriend had the border omlet and he loved it!

We have been here a handful of times for breakfast. It gets busy. We’ve always had good service. The food is ok. Their biscuits and gravy are a little bland. The place is in need of an update. The furnishings, floors, paint, are just beat up looking. There are a ton of regulars. Its basic diner food, and gets the job done when I’m hungry for eggs and potatos.

Extremely friendly service. Wonderful food. My coffee cup never went less than half empty before it was filled up again. The waitresses visited with all of the customers. I had chicken fried steak that was cooked perfectly. This was our first visit to this nice diner and I think that we will become regular customers with each trip to Medford.

No thrills no frills Coffee diner. Great service with a smile and your typical American diner food. Food tasted great potatoes were fresh not too early. And the price was less than $ 6 for a very filling breakfast. Yes I am in Medford again I will stop by here for breakfast.

First I should say we visited 10am on a Saturday so it was pretty busy. This is a greasy spoon diner in all ways. Which I love and the waitress seemed friendly but very busy. The food took about 45minutes. I think I would have given them 4 stars if it wasn’t so busy the breakfast I ordered was good the breakfast quesadilla but my boyfriends biscuits and gravy wasn’t that great. All in all if you love old diners I think you’ll like this place. There are only 3 or 4 tables outside so you’ll likely have to sit inside

This was a nice little place around the corner from our house, and we were pretty pleased. Good food, good service, decent coffee, just be careful when asking for your bacon«crispy», it was a little bit burned.

Parkside Café has always been great for us. The servers are expert and cheerful. Food is top notch and there is no problem with substitutions. Sure, it’s a local hangout for the geriatrics crowd, but don’t be scared. They don’t bite.

Visiting from out of town, my husband, son and I decided to stop here for breakfast. We were so glad we did! I’d like to start off by saying that we used to live in San Diego and frequented one of the best breakfast and brunch places there(top-rated on Unilocal, voted best by locals, etc.). They have amazing eggs benedict dishes, but, Parkside Café’s is better. I ordered their California Eggs Benedict bowl and it was by far the best benedict I’ve ever had. Their hollandaise sauce is so tasty. My husband ordered the pancakes and he said they were some of the best he had ever had as well. The only«con» I noted while we were there was that they were a bit understaffed. They could have used one more waiter or waitress. Other than that though, wish we could come back all the time!

Our friends Bill and Sue brought us here yesterday morning for brunch. It’s the kind of old school breakfast place I love, w/lots of regulars. The décor is replete w/automotive oddities, from the veneer of a Model A, or maybe a Model T, mounted on one wall, complete w/bumper, radiator, headlights and windshield, an inch or two thick. Toward the back of the room is a lighted wait/walk sign and at the checkout counter is a retired parking meter. On another wall hangs a variety of ancient cooking utensils. The menu is extensive and the service was old school fabulous. Our waitress took our order w/o writing anything down and remembered everything. She even remembered something she had forgotten the last time they were there. I ordered a biscuits and gravy combination plate and it was way too much food. I would order less next time. The sausage was good, as were the hash browns and scrambled eggs. I ended up leaving half of the hash browns and some of the biscuits. I don’t remember what the others ordered, but everyone seemed pleased. It was a cool place.
