Hands down the best car stereo shop in the valley… They were very Helpful and knowledgable about their products. They were happy to answer any question i had and went above and beyond to build my system exactly how i needed it. Couldn’t ask for more friendly and professional guys to do business with! Would recommend PROAUDIO to any one in S.O.

I don’t leave reviews often. Mostly because I don’t feel like a business deserves five stars if everything only went the way it should, but I also don’t believe it deserves to get knocked down any stars either. So it takes something special to motivate me to write one. I know from experience how intimidating audio shops can be if you don’t know anything. Car audio equipment can be expensive, and after you hand the money over, strangers are going to rip your second largest investment apart completely. It’s hard to trust that these guys you’ve never met really have your best interest at heart when you aren’t sure about brands, watts, hz, etc. Then you walk in the door and are overwhelmed by entire ROOMS covered in different speakers. The ONE thing I can’t stand is seeing shops take advantage of people in this exact moment who don’t have time to learn all about audio and just want their cars to sound good. This is where I watched Pro Audio really blow their competition away today. This is honestly what I saw as I waited for my truck. I have never seen any audio shop that runs this well. Not only is every single employee friendly and helpful to the customers,(whether they buy a switch or an entire system, the treatment really doesn’t change,) there is a definite vibe that these guys are all actually friends and hang out outside of work. You might think it’s a bad thing, it means lot of goofing off in and around your car, but it’s not. It means that if someone has installed something in your particular make and model and knows any tip or trick to make it a better install, he has no problem ducking his head in and showing the guy doing the work, and the guy working genuinely thanks him, and instead of anyone guessing about anything, they’ll ask out loud and someone will almost always know the answer. Not that questions happen often, but in a lot of shops, egos run high and there is too much peacocking involved, and you, the customer, may not have the best install you could. You have the best one that ONE guy could do, but at Pro Audio, you’ll leave with the best they ALL could do. Everyone I saw, from the kid who was just getting some tweeters for his car, to the guy having a 5k system put in his wakeboard boat, was smiling and laughing as they waited. Do you know how hard it is for someone to smile before they hand five thousand dollars to ANYONE?! For the record, I have no affiliation with these guys. I don’t even live in this city, I didn’t get any deal to write it, in fact they have no idea I’m doing it. I have all jl audio products in my truck and they were the dealer I was closest to, and I needed something on the road, it was supposed to be a quick stop, but seeing how these guys work, Ill really make the long drive just to not have to worry about anything, because trust me, it’s a rare feeling with this industry, and I had to let you know.

Amazing service. Everything sounds great! And my sub, which I bought used from a friend blew today. And I called them and they cut me a deal on a j&l 12″. And no install fee. Amazing place. Doing everything through them. Highly recommended! Amazing people and prices.

Highly satisfied. These guys are much better than any of the«big box» stores in the area. Not only do they know their stuff, but prices are great as well. They had my car in and out within a reasonable time frame and installation was professional. Highly recommend these guys for your audio needs.

I decided to have a new car stereo installed in my truck. I shopped the two local car stereo businesses to compare them. After just 15 minutes at Pro Audio, it was evident to me that they really had the knowledge and level of service that I was seeking. I had left the other local business quite disappointed and discouraged. The sales rep(Scott) took the time to patiently answer my questions and concerns and to look closely at my truck to assess and address any possible installation challenges. They also called me during the install to discuss an obstacle they encountered, and how to remedy it. Upon completion, Scott sat with me in the truck and ran through the various features of the new stereo. in all, I felt confident in their capabilities & professionalism, that the prices were fair, and will certainly return for any future car stereo needs.

Very happy with service received. The Stereo in my car stopped working, I could see that the radio and CD were functioning but there was no sound coming out the speakers. Called Progressive and asked them if they could help, they said yes and I set an appointment for service. So twenty minutes later my stereo was working they had step by step recommendations for improving the sound in my car. I had a bill for $ 20, gave them $ 25. Next step replace old speakers than upgrade stereo as I can afford it.

I took my son into Pro Audio for his birthday, to get a sound system for his car. We had approx. $ 600 to spend and the system we wanted initially was about $ 800. We asked about possibly picking a less expensive component and they became nasty, and showed us the least expensive piece of crap rather than something that might not be the top of the line, but decent and within our price range. Ultimately, we told them we needed a few minutes to go check out best buy but we would call and let them know either way within ½ hour as we had an appt. with them for installation at 3 pm. We ended up calling them back in 15 minutes at 3:05 and said we’d like to go ahead and buy their system and we would be back in less than 5 minutes. They said they wouldn’t be able to honor our appt. We asked if someone had come in and gotten our slot, but they just said they wouldnt have time even though it was only minutes after our appt. time. Evidently they felt we should penalized for considering going elsewhere. They knew it was my son’s birthday and he was excited and that this was a big deal to him and they were dismissive and rude. As he was on the phone with the rude salesman, BJ Cardinal, I discovered Diamond Audio which was only like two doors down… We went in there where the man was so helpful that even though we didn’t end up spending less, he helped us maximize our dollars and was open to our bringing in an outside deck to go with an even better sub and amp system. It’s amazing how much difference good customer service makes. If you are looking for an audio specialist who cares if you are happy with your purchase, don’t go to Pro Audio.
