Subway

I always stop by this Subway because it’s close to my house and doesn’t get nearly the amount of traffic or tweakers as the one on Crater Lake. The staff here is always very friendly and makes sure my sandwiches are just right.

Stopped in for lunch today. Won’t be back. I eat at Subways often, so I’m disappointed that the one closest to my office is so poorly run.
Ordered the meatball sub on garlic bread. The napkin I was given was placed on top of my sandwich so it ended up with sauce on it before I used it. Had to ask for another one to use.
Next I had to find a table with the least amount of crumbs and leftovers from previous diners. It was post lunch rush, about 1 pm, but not too busy to catch up on wiping tables. As luck would have it, the table I selected had a stool with a broken front foot rest.
As I was eating my sub it was falling apart because the bread was so dry. I also noticed that the meatballs and sauce were not very warm. In fact they were close to room temp. After eating about ¼ of the footllong sandwich I decided that it was probably not too safe to eat at that temp. and decided to pitch it and go.
In an effort to at least end on a positive note, I will say that the order line was short, and the person that made my sandwich was quick.
