An excellent selection soups, sandwiches and smoothies make this a great place to visit. There are lots of menu items, but the emphasis is on «choose your own ingredient items. Recommended.

Smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, soft pretzels. So much yummy food! There is nothing that I’ve ordered that I do not like and I stop in several times a week because I work across the street. That staff are very friendly and have even delivered to our office before!

Salads and smoothies are tasty. Try the Italian wedding soup. Owner is friendly and willing to make substitutes for dietary preferences/needs.

Stopped in to get a smoothie. The guy at the counter was very nice but he was a little slow. I got the Go Go Gadget which tasted good but the whole time I was drinking it I kept thinking of his disgusting long dirty fingernails. They were probably enough to keep me from going back. Too bad.

An out-of-the-way place that seems very popular with office workers and other locals. I ordered the ½ sandwich and soup. There was a choice of meats, cheeses, breads and condiments. Luckily I did not chooses all the condiments because the sandwich was nearly too thick to get into my mouth. I had the turkey sandwich and the turkey was not«lunch» meat but«real» turkey. The white chicken chili soup was very good with lots of chicken and white beans in a not too spicy broth. The regular coffee was okay. All this for $ 10; a reasonable price for better than average soup and sandwich. A small restaurant with tables and couches for those just ordering drinks; it seems to encourage customers to hang out some.

5 Stars all the way around! Great food, great service! Owned by a husband and wife team who are always friendly and helpful. They always have gluten free and vegan alternatives which is a HUGE plus, especially in Medford. It’s funny to sit and watch the customers. During one time of day, the little shop will be filled with elderly people, an hour later, you’ll find the college kids, another hour later, the business people, and then back to the elderly. I think this just goes to show that everyone enjoys Wamba Juice! My daughter introduced me to it and I’ve introduced several colleagues. Great place! Only downfall is CASHONLY, so make sure you have cash on hand.

I’m always on the look out for a good sandwich in town that is locally owned and independent, so I stopped by Wamba Juice today for a bite and was happy with the whole experience. I ordered the Turkey, Bacon, Avocado and it was easily one of the better sandwiches I’ve had in awhile. Real, thick, sliced turkey. Two burly slabs of bacon and lots of avocado. It sat tall in the basket and was a weighty beast. The space was nice, with a motley mixture of tables, chairs, cheeky signs & antiques, plenty of natural lighting and finally some plants for good measure. Friendly people working behind the counter is the final positive mark for this place. Seriously, skip subway and get a real sandwich here for the same price, you won’t regret it.

Rooting for these guys. They don’t have the best location, but they make a kick-butt wheatgrass shot and a nice salad. They are very nice people, just really down-to-earth and eager to do what it takes. Haven’t had any of the smoothies yet, but I’ve heard good things. Try to stop by for lunch if you can.
