Wendy’s

I am not familiar with Wendy’s. I know this is not the first time I went to one. I hope I remember this time though.
This was the only place open after 9pm on Sunday night. Only the drive thru was available. We ordered a chicken sandwich with fries a cheese burger #1 combo.
We went around the corner to our hotel to eat. The fries were unsalted, no salt packets in bag, and cold. The sandwich and burger was cold. The hotel is across the street! 10 minutes tops.
What also surprised us was the total lack of any flavor.
We even tried to warm it up. It was actually worse when heated.

Fries are so salty they are inedible. Every time.

I just filled up the cars tank, now it’s time to fill my tank!
Of all the other fast food joints in the area, I choose this one.
*** Yes, yes I know… fast food is not what we should be eating OR writing reviews about on Unilocal.I also know you CANNOT believe anyone would waste their time writing a fast food review OR why anyone else out there in Unilocalland would actually want read it. Well believe it because It’s happening, I’m writing it and you’re reading it! Besides, I’m on a road trip and need to cover 600 miles today so I want optimize my time on the road getting where I’m going, not sitting at a table in some fancy-​schmancy restaurant… so this will have to do***
I pull into the drive-​thru, order a couple deluxe cheeseburgers and a couple orders of nuggets. The woman at the window was EXTREMELY nice and helpful!
I pull around and park in the lot. Everything was fresh, hot and pretty darn tasty.
***OK, I know what I just said about getting back on the road and I originally intended to. But It’s a bit easier for my elderly father to eat while stationary AND I also needed to take the pupster out so he could sniff around and water the bushes***
So… what should have been a 5 minute grab-​some-​grub driving delay ended up being a 20 minute driving delay, but it was all for the best… and I made up for it once I was back on the road. ;-)

Great customer service except they left the tomato on my chicken sandwich after I said no tomato. Better prices than Jack in the Box, Carls Jr and Dairy Queen! Very confusing entrance/​exit location! At the corner of two 1 way streets (Riverside and Hwy 99). Scummy part of town so I just took the drive thru. The people working there didn’t seem bad at all though. The other Wendys by the mall never put tomato on my food when I said No. :P But the one by the mall had an even worse entrance/​exit, especially if going south on Hwy 99 since you have to hit the main intersection that takes forever then make a U Turn! :/​So this south medford location is better in that aspect.
