Finally! I have been searching for so long for a wax salon that is clean, professional, and upbeat. I found it today.
I noticed a few months ago that Tantopia had a sign that they were hiring waxers and would be offering waxing. Smooth idea – tanning’s bad, mmmmkay?
I finished my wax pass at European Wax Center, where I was very unhappy. So I decided to stop by Brazi and see how it went. I walked in this morning and met Colette, who actually was booking appointments at the time. She had an opening later in the afternoon. I note that there are two receptionists – one for tanning and one for waxing. Both women greeted me immediately and were upbeat and pleasant. The reception area was clean and didn’t have a ton of posters of scantily clad women, a bonus when females are your primary customers.
I returned in the afternoon for my appointment. I was early and again was greeted promptly. Colette was ready early too. The waxing room was clean with fresh paper already on the comfortable table. After a brief introduction, Colette stepped out so I could get ready.
The waxing process was pleasant. Colette was very personable and as we talked, I learned she has been in the business for many years. She took the time to do things right and well. I was very impressed with her technique and was not grimacing with pain.
I think I found my regular wax place!
