Lighting, sets the mood. I’ve eaten here. Don’t remember it being bad, in fact it was probably good and I’d really like to go again. But someone has to turn down those lights. Seriously. It’s way to bright at the front bar, obnoxious. For that reason alone. I refuse. If you want a tan to go with your corona, go for it. But BYOsunglasses.

The short ribs were cooked to perfection, the guac was the best thing iv’e ever eaten, and the service was unreal! Love this place!

Que terrible! The food was flavorless and smothered with even more tasteless sauces. The meat was poorly cooked and the steak was unrecognizably chopped up in less than one inch pieces. The salsa tastes like it came from a can. The serve is incredibly slow particularly when you’re the only one in the restaurant.

This place tries to make fancy Mexican food but fails. Not sure if anyone cooking there has ever had Mexican food, but the food has downfalls on just about every front. No flavor, everything doused in bad sauces, overcooked meat to the point you can’t taste it, wrong type of rice, on and on. Service was also slow, which is amazing bec of how many people they have working there. Hard pass on this place.

Had dinner at dos gringos with my boyfriend and son, we are from new York. Food was exquisite. I’m hispanic so Sazon is really important and the taste of each dish was very genuine. Portions were perfect and very well presented. You have the choice of bringing your own alcoholic beverages which make it an unexpensive experience. Prices are just right. We have high standards when it comes to customer service and dos gringos met all of them. Very happy and pleased with this restaurant. Definitely coming back!

New Year’s Eve 4 course dinner was delicious! — menu options, flavors and thoughtful combos plus the beautiful presentation! Despite late for requesting reservation, we were offered the ‘bar’ for early seating @ 7. It was well worth it plus we were able to see how tightly coordinated the chefs, wait staff and owners were. For a small kitchen they handled a party of 16 or so plus every table filled, like a well choreographed stage show. Scallops, jumbo shrimp, with guijillo chile romesco sauce, chorizo cheese grits and pickled red cabbage was my 3rd course. Lots of choices for each of the 4 courses. Fabulous! Start to finish — a great meal, fun atmosphere and great price.

Yummy veggie options. The margaritas come as a pitcher of mixer and BYOTequila. We tried the blood orange version, which was well appreciated. Friendly server Sarah took good care of us. Mexican brownie was great — a little cinnamon and ginger to amp up the love!

Your typical non-authentic mexican food restaurant, but made up for with nice service, fresh ingredients, and byot!

Delicious! Get the green mild salsa and the surf and turf burrito! Definitely brining my own tequila next time because the margarita mix they sell looks amazing!

For starters our appetizer took a long time to arrive. When it did it was the wrong one. The correct appetizer took an additional 15 minutes to come out. The main course was so so. Waitress never came to our table once to ask if we needed anything else. Basically took our order than our money.

An unbelievably excellent meal and service at Dos Gringos Mexican Kitchen. Those short-ribs were meltingly tender, and the veggie enchiladas and tostones al pastor are Da Bomb! Shout outs to Danielle and your new expediter/busser. Terrific. A +! Wonderful birthday celebration. Greg treats us like old friends. Much love.

I’ve been here for dinner 3 times before this — each time not being over the top crazy about the food. I went tonight for dinner and the food was awesome. We had 2 apps, guacamole and tostados. Both good, but the star was definitely the freshly made salsa. They had so many good looking options, it was hard to pick. We had the surf and turf as an entrée — we split it and this was all a great amount of food for 2 people. We of course brought our own wine. All the food was great! I think they added more items to the menu, from the time I was there. We finished with fried ice cream — which was my FAVORITE part! Our server(Brittany) was wonderful. The restaurant was very clean. It’s a small place, so it’s a very close feel. Definitely going back. many more times!

YUM Every time, it’s delicious! I usually go for the specials and I’m never disappointed. Tonight was Dining Under the Stars and they had plenty of people on to help serve but one person didn’t know what the other was doing, little more communication needed. Sarah was our server and she was fun and attentive.

We were here for a taco-Tuesday a few nights back. This is our go-to place for Mexican in Media. A bring your own tequila and beer that has tasty food and a bit overpriced entrees. The carnitas are great, the green sauce enchiladas are also a favorite. Some of the more exotic main courses can disappoint so stick with familiars. All in all good local summer night fun

The fish tacos were very good but the rudeness of the main employee who was seating the guests ruined the whole meal. He made it a huge deal that I requested to sit inside when it was down pouring rain outside. What makes the situation worse is that I spoke to a nice female employee earlier in the day via phone who told me they were moving outside reservations to inside due to weather. The man told me I was a liar and that the female employee would never tell me that. Why would I make that up? He talked back to me multiple times and treated me very poorly. I do not recommend this restaurant due to poor customer service. Spend your money elsewhere. Also, there was a hair in my friends dish.

One of my favorite places in media. I have tried both the mild and medium salsas and both are fresh and flavorful. I love the big chunks of tomatoes and onions! The chips are thin and crisp. It’s the perfect appetizer. Good entrees include surf and turf fajitas and the amazing chicken enchiladas. I love the sauce for the enchiladas! The rice isn’t anything special but the beans are yummy. Definitely bring your own tequila and try a pitcher of their flavored margaritas. I love the strawberry.

My friends & I went for dinner on a Thursday night, brought our own tequila & ordered the lemon lime margarita mixer, & guacamole. the margaritas were good, the chips & guac were tasty. the waitress was very friendly & quick. The place is small but nicely decorated/atmosphere & clean. wasn’t crowded. I had chicken enchiladas, with roasted zucchini & onions($ 2 extra). my friends had fish tacos & the«el dorado»(mahi mahi). The entrees were all very good. not spicy but had good flavor.

One of the cutest restaurants in Media. Love the interior decoration, if it is a bit small. Okay, tiny. Tables are close. Politely ignore your neighbors or be gregarious and chat away, your choice. I have had some very salty black beans here. I also had a foreign object in my food one time. They immediately prepared a new dish for me and did not charge us and offered us comp dessert but we passed. I glance over these incidents because, as a whole, we have had pleasant service and good food at Dos Gringos. They only have one vegetarian entrée. One. You know, most people in Mexico don’t eat tons of meat, right? You know meat is expensive in Mexico, right? I know this isn’t Mexico, but come on, one veg dish?

Had lunch here a few weeks ago… It’s a very small but comfortable place, and the food was really good. I had the chicken enchiladas which were quite impressive with black beans and rice, and my daughter and her friend both had the veggie quesadillas which were chock full of all kinds of good grilled veggies. The salsa bar wasn’t that impressive… The containers they give you are so small that we had to fill them up a couple of times. The salsas that we tried were good though! The service was quick — the guy at the counter was very friendly and smiling the whole time. It’s a little more expensive than other Mexican places we’ve been to but that wouldn’t stop us from going there again. Overall — a very nice place!
