We had a 7 pm reservation, and we were not sat until 8 pm and that was after some negotiating with the hostess to nudge a lagging party to leave. Once sat the table was cramped and drafty and the service was extremely slow. We went back and forth for the correct number of water glasses, etc. and waited for bread which would have been nice to have considering the wait. There was no effort to apologize for the delay or offer a concession. The food was good and came out quickly. This may have been an off night but disappointing to spend a night out feeling like an inconvenience to your host.

We had made a reservation beforehand and were seated almost immediately. The hostess and our waitress were both very friendly. I had the rigatoni alla vodka and it was great. All of the portions were huge! Will definitely be back again.

Imitation Italian food. Perhaps everything is so inexpensive as they serve the lowest grade food products. Massive overwhelming portions but zero was a waste of our groups time as we quickly recognized that these places strategically located are not true Italian Dining. below average non-trained wait staff but if you prefer a cheap meal with equally cheap tasteless food products then enjoy. Otherwise keep driving to any of the Italian restaurants that are so much better. We will check these places off the list.

If I could give Fellinis a 2.5, I would. My girlfriend was here from out of town for the first time so I wanted to take her into Media for what I thought would be an excellent meal. I made a reservation at Fellinis at about 5 o’clock for 2 at 6 o’clock. We got there at 5:50 and the hostess was confused and told us our reservation was under the 5:45 slot for 4 people, and the party had already arrived. It was relatively empty so we were still seated right away, but it was just the foreshadowing of what was to come. We sat at our table for a solid 20 minutes before even being attended to by a server. After about 10 minutes my girlfriend said to the hostess that we had not yet been seen by a server and we still waited at least another 10 minutes before being attended to. When I unrolled my napkin that contained my silverware, crumbs of some sort fell out and onto my appetizer plate of it which skeeved me out but I didn’t say anything to my girlfriend as to not turn her off to the whole meal. We were finally able to order and the wait time on the food was not too bad. My girlfriend had the lasagna which she enjoyed however when she got to the middle of the dish, it was cold. Not frozen, but it was not as hot as fresh lasagna should be. This screamed«refrigerated and reheated». I had the tortellini with peas and prosciutto. It was a huge portion but lacked flavor. It also came with mozzarella on top. A sheet of it. I like mozzarella just as much as the next guy, but it was over the top. It also wasn’t hot and gooey as you would expect it to be, rather luke warm and more solidified which made it less enjoyable. I’ve been to Fellinis a few times in the past some years back and from what I remember, I enjoyed the meal and was satisfied with the experience as a whole. This time around I was disappointed all around the board. And I’m disappointed that I was disappointed. I don’t know if there was a change in ownership or management or what but I’ll really have to think about giving them another chance before I go back, if I ever do.

Always the best. Can’t wait for Dining Under the Stars to start up again. Make sure you call ahead… it can get busy! Also make sure you are hungry! Big portions!

BYOB and decent Italian food away from the city. The seafood was fresh and the appetizers and entrees came out accordingly and as expected for a great dining experience. If only the servers were taught how to properly open a wine bottle. Popping the bottle is not the proper way to open a bottle. Perhaps educate with a video our tutorial to cut costs and appease the patrons who bring their nice bottle of wine expecting it to be open by one who was at least trained with the bare minimal to open wine bottles at a byob.

Stopped in here on a Sunday with the in laws and hubs for a late lunch/early dinner around 3:30PM. It was one of the only places open and serving food at this time so we decided it was meant to be. I usually get the lobster ravioli here, but opted for the Gnocchi Fellini, which is gnocchi with shrimp and sun dried tomatoes in a pesto sauce. Delicious, but filling. They always give you enough food to serve 3 people so prepare for leftovers! My husband went with his go-to: the Penne Fellini, penne pasta in a cream sauce with prosciutto and peas. Always a safe bet! We also had the heaping bowl of calamari, which could feed at least 8 people and the 4 of us made a sad dent in it. Fellini’s is always a nice, warm comforting place for food that will fill you up as you drink your own bottle of wine.

The service was pretty bad. We sat at our table a longer than 5 minutes(we timed it after a bit, that’s how long it was) before someone even came to take a drink order. By this time our 3 year old was already getting impatient which really started it off to a bad night. I MUSTMAKEITNOTED The good thing about the place is once we put in an order it came out very fast and it was very delicious . But then of course we waited again for what seemed like an eternity to get the check. Pretty loud and cramped. No kids menu either so I wouldn’t recommend going with children.

Always amazing food. The owner takes pride in the authenticity of the dishes and it shows. I’ve never had a bad meal there. Some of my fav dishes there are the grilled Calamari appetizer, the Argula salad and the gnocchi gorgonzola. Funny part is I’m not a fan of Vodka sauces but their’s is fantastic. The only reason I didn’t give it a perfect score is that it’s always crowded and even with reservations we have to wait 20 – 30 minutes… but the wait is SO worth it!

Since moving to Media I have been here many times, and each time the food has been excellent. The portions are ridiculously huge. I generally get about 3 meals out of one trip to Fellini’s, so that can’t be beat. The meal starts out with complimentary bread and bruschetta. I love bruschetta and it is a lovely way to start out your meal. I have had a number of different dishes there, but my go to now is the linguini with marinara, basil and crab. It is out of this world. My mom has specifically asked that I bring it to her when I come to visit. The place is also a BYOB which I love. My one small complaint is that reservations don’t seem to matter much. We have gone on Dining Under the Stars, which I know is going to be crazy, but it didn’t seem to matter to the hostess at all that we had reservations. She said that with reservations, she doesn’t start counting you until you show up. This was odd. We got there at 7:20 for a 7:30 reservation and did not get seated until almost 8pm. Not a huge deal, but we saw people who came around the same time as us who did not have reservations get seated before us. That was frustrating. Next time we’ll just choose a later reservation as I think 7:30 was just a prime time.

We came here on Friday for a date night and everything was absolutely amazing!!! We started off with the Asian style bbq short ribs and then followed with a rib eye steak with a balsamic glaze the steak was cooked to perfection. My fiancé had a seafood pasta which he also enjoyed. Plus it’s a BYOB! This may become our go to spot when we have date night

Fellini’s has been our go-to place for a great meal for years. I’ve tried many of the dishes on the menu. Favorites are the Ravioli in Aurora Sauce(guess why I tried that the first time!), pasta carbonara(so rich and delish!), and the Rigatoni a la Vodka(has a scrumptious combo of vodka sauce, capers, and sun dried tomatoes). Also, for dessert try the Dark Side of the Moon cake — I have seriously gone into a love-coma over this cake because of the crazy amount of chocolate sending Dopamine to my brain(great for date night), or the Cannolis, which are homemade and just pure amazingness. Portion sizes are huge, which I think is great, because I always have leftovers to take to lunch the next day. I also love that it’s a BYOB, because it does somewhat cut down on the cost. We’ve always had great service here. The only downside is that if you are seated in the main dining room(not the expansion), it can get incredibly noisy!

I don’t know what is happening to this place, it used to be great but now… When there last night for my mother’s birthday; the service was terrible, slow and inattentive, waiters would pass by without even looking at our table. Water glasses were empty and appetizer dishes weren’t pick up before, or after, bringing our entrees. We end with a pile of dirty dishes in the middle of our table, and then it was the food. Bland, unsavory and flavorless, not to mention my mother’s overcook and extra dry piece of tune. Poor soul, her birthday and she couldn’t enjoy her meal. I’m giving them 2 stars because the limoncello save the night, it was truly delicious. I used to enjoy the meals and the service at Fellini’s but sadly I believe last nigh was my last time there.

Came on Wednesday for Dining Under the Stars. Made a reservation and were told it would be be outside but when we arrived the table was inside or we could wait 1 – 1.5 hours for a place outside. We opted for inside since it was already 8:00(the earliest we could get for a party of 2 after calling three days before). Thankfully the food made up for this. Started with the mussels In a Red sauce that spicy and garlicky with bread to sop it all up! They were delicious. I got the chicken with the sausage dish that had veggies and potatoes. It was lemony and well seasoned. I really enjoyed it. My boyfriend loved his lobster ravioli. The portions are huge too like every one says. Overall this is a decent place.

Big portions of pasta and salads sizeable enough to split. The downside is that the pasta dishes are drowning in oil — presumably heart healthier olive oil, but unfortunately not at these quantities. I love EV olive oil and dunking my bread in it… But pasta swimming in oil is just oily — as if the sauce ingredients didn’t meld together enough so oil was dumped on top of it. Blech. Mine was the capellini with chopped tomatoes, basil and garlic. Very simple; could have used more salt. Hubby has gnocchi– probably an FDA serving for 4! It was good, but also sat in a puddle of oil. See pics. Other positives: Their complimentary bruschetta is delicious, and the housemade lemon olive oil salad dressing(on request) was great!

The first thing you notice when you walk in to Fellini’s is it’s interesting choice of décor. The left side of the restaurant is decorated like an old world italian restaurant with columns and grape vines. The right side(the expansion of the restaurant) is like walking in to a completely different restaurant. The walls are decorated with distressed wood, and the chairs and tables are metal. It’s very industrial looking. My friends and I had a great time at Fellini’s. The service was great and the courses were timed perfectly. They start you off with bread and bruschetta for the table, which is filling enough to not have to order appetizers, but being our first time, we made that delicious mistake. We ordered a couple caprese salads to split. When they came out with olives on them(not mentioned on the menu), we asked if we could get one made without olives since one of my friends at the table has an olive allergy. The waitress obliged and said we could keep the one with the olives for others at the table to enjoy. That was a nice plus having an extra salad to share. I can’t even remember what pastas everyone ordered, but everyone ordered something different and we all raved about how delicious they all were. The portion sizes were HUGE. I had enough left over for lunch the next day. My only two complaints of the night have to do with the seating at the restaurant. The first is that we were seated 35 minutes past our reservation time. Waiting in that tiny, cold vestibule for 35 minutes while other parties go in and out is not enjoyable. Secondly, a party of six without a reservation was sat before us because someone in the party was close friends with the host. I presume they got our table(we were also a party of six), hence the long wait. Reservations exist for a reason, so they should be honored. Either way, we’ll be back to have some more of that pasta. I just hope we don’t have to wait around like that again.

When I think of Fellini’s, this is what I think of: butter, oil, cheese, fat, fat, fat, PAIN. The bottom line is that the portions here are gigantic(even the salads — they’re big enough to share with multiple people) and they will leave you feeling like you’ve swallowed a brick. Everything was mighty tasty(check out the pictures), but everything was so, so, so, so terrible for you. Super buttery and oily and fatty, and my stomach was in pain for two straight days. The indigestion I had was insane. This is the type of place you should go to sparingly, when you want to be a gluttonous pig.

I had a mean plate of spaghetti at Fellini’s. The noodles were practically al dente — I’m a fan. Asked for sausages in the pasta, and they had a pleasant amount of spice. Portions are huge. The leftovers even survived a trip through the microwave. I’m entering a food coma just thinking about that dinner.

For me, this place either is spot on, or almost bad: The best of Fellini’s: — BYOB — pasta dishes– our Fellini’s Gnocci was among the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had, no small feat Please avoid, for your own sake: — «lobster bisque” — no lobster, and no hint of anything remotely looking or tasting like seafood. This was a serviceable tomato bisque, and should be labelled as such on the menu — ceasar salad– old lettuce dressed with bottled ceasar dressing is what we got. For $ 9, one expects fresh romaine, and real hand made ceasar dressing, with lemon, anchovies, and all other requisite ingredients. This salad was just awful. So, bring a bottle of wine to your liking, and order pasta, for the best possible experience here.
