Delicious Italian hoagies, with thick cuts and lots of flavors. I don’t live in the Media area, but will definitely come back when I can.

Crap! Total crap! Barely any toppings. The bread was«decent» but only because there was hardly anything else there to eat. Ingredients were NOT fresh, either. Has Planet Hoagie ever heard of lettuce, tomato, and condiments?

I had a version of their Italian hoagie, great bread, well made. My only complaint the hoagie could have had a little more meat.

Yikes — From the reviews, I thought I’d be getting a good hoagie — not so. The menu is awesome but we ended up with the worst chicken cutlet hoagie & it took forever when there wasn’t even anyone else in there! the chicken cutlet wasn’t even breaded, it was cold, and soggy as all hell. Sorry — not a fan. I’ll hit up Primos next time.

There isn’t much I can eat here because there is no such thing as gluten free hoagie bread, but the place smells amazing. What they do have is an amazing Chicken Caesar Salad. The chicken is seasoned to perfection. The choice of cheese is spot on and the greens are always fresh. The dressing is VERY good. It’s a little pricey for a salad($ 7.95), but well worth it. Ask for no croutons to make it gluten free.

I need to give a shout out to the best hoagie spot in the world, conveniently located in my hometown of Media, PA. I know hoagies, and these are the best. Real Italian deli meats and cheeses, fresh Italian veggies, and a large hoagie that is LAARRRGGGEEE. Try to ignore the corny name while you enjoy the most delicious and filling hoagie of your life. I know plenty of people that make the trip out of the city just to get their hands on one of these. I personally have an obsession with the Verdura, a vegetarian one packed with roasted red peppers, broccoli rabe, and sharp provolone cheese, on a seeded roll. For the meat lovers, get yourself, well… pretty much anything else on the menu. Health nuts: You can request a whole wheat roll! Planet Hoagie, please don’t ever close, or I might stop visiting home.

The secret to any good hoagie is the roll, and I think the hard rolls at Planet Hoagie are among the best around. I get the Fabrizio with lettuce and I’m pretty much set for the nest 14 hours. I’ve never been to any of the other locations, so I can only verify this one.

If I could travel to a distant planet, and make my home far far away from Earth, I would certainly live on Planet Hoagie. All of the sandwiches have humorous Italian names, and are loaded with meat, cheese, tuna, or whatever. You can get any sandwich extremely hot, as well– which is awesome. Everything I’ve had has been delicious, but the Spicy Italian Tuna sandwich is killer. No seating in this one, but you can call ahead and pick up in ten minutes. There used to be a Planet Hoagie franchise on 12th and Walnut in Center City Philadelphia, and it folded, which was a huge loss to the lunch-eating workers in town. Now I have to travel all the way into the suburban solar system to get me some Planet Hoagie.
