Very Legit. Nice ambiance, not too loud. Great for a date night with the wife away from the kids, or with a few friends. Was busy the Friday night we were there– limited seating but if you’re comfortable sitting european style (at the same table with other people), it’ll be no problem.
Nice selection of wines– not many Malbecs but nice assortment of rest, good Craft beer selection– many I’d never heard of before but were eager to try. Limited Kitchen menu. Can’t wait to take more people here… or not, and keep this jewel to ourselves.

This place is exactly what the Medina Square needed.
This is the perfect place to go for a girls night out, date night, or a place to escape with a good book.
The best thing to order here is a flight of wine. They have several different wine combinations including «around the world», which I HIGHLY recommend. Also, for the ambiance, location, and selection of wine the price is fair.
Why 5 stars? Besides their awesome wine list and ambiance that makes you feel like you are in a trendy (but not yet known) wine bar in a «big» city, they handled a personal request very well. My sister in law is in a wheelchair and because of this we wanted to make sure we could get a good table that would be easy to maneuver. We called ahead and asked for a reservation so that we could make sure we were seated and that there was actually a place for us without having to wait. We were told that they don’t take reservations, but because of our circumstances we could call ahead anytime and they would get us a good table. Exceptional customer service.

Me and my wife had a date night here while visiting from Salt Lake. What a great place and great atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and helpful. You can pick any bottle off the wall and have them cork it for a $ 7 fee to enjoy in the bar. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. Here it gets busy on the weekends so I’d do a mid week visit.

H2 is the perfect spot for a night out in Medina. It channels the essence that makes the Medina Square the special place that it is.
The tapas selection is great, we had the Founders IPA Cheese Dip and also the Brie. Both were fantastic.
The wine selections is huge and covers all styles, regions, and price range as well. Cannot forget to drop a line about the beer selection as well, perfectly fit for a craft beer guru.
I’d absolutely recommend H2 to anyone looking for a date night or just a night to kick back and relax with a drink.

H2 is a warm inviting place to sip wine while you browse the many selections in their beautiful display. The owners have created a shop where wine lovers can relax and enjoy themselves! Looking forward to another visit!

One of the best additions to Medina in the last year. Really great ambiance. Fantastic and reasonably priced wine. Excellent service. Feels like a little slice of New York on the Medina Sq.

Stopped by when I was visiting with family in Ohio for St. Patrick’s day. What a great place! Full of character, the building was built in 1870 and is decorated very eloquently. But besides the great ambiance, there is a great wine selection all at great prices with a friendly and helpful staff.

This is a wonderful wine shop and wine bar that is a great addition to the square. At $ 7, you won’t find a more reasonable corkage fee anywhere — and in Ohio, you can recork and take home what you don’t finish. Nice wine selection, particularly of California reds.
It’s a cozy interior, and just a lovely place to hang out on a winter’s night in Medina. Highly recommended.
