Combination of bad food and horrible service. I was trying to support a pizza place in my neighborhood and won’t be going back. I ordered one pizza for carry out(simple order) and they said it would be 20 minutes. When I arrived they hadn’t even put the pizza in the oven. I finally got my pizza after 40 minutes from when I ordered and was disappointed by the taste for the cost. Think twice before trying this place– you’re better off going to a national chain.

Decent atmosphere, but pizza was pretty bland. Pizza-by-the-slice options at sat lunch were pepperoni, sausage, or cheese… Sigh. Employee behind the counter was pleasant, Mgr sitting out in the customer area seemed annoyed for some reason. Does anyone else think it’s bad practice for mgmt to sit out there and do their books? All of that aside, I’ve had better frozen pizza.

Jimmy’s Pizza not only has the best pizza in the Minneapolis area, but their customer service is TOPNOTCH! Carrie and her team were a key factor in the success of our school fundraiser. Not only that, but they are known for a delicious quality product. I highly recommend Jimmy’s Pizza in Hamel whether you live out that way or need to make a special road-trip. Well done, Carrie and team!!!

I would like to comment on the pizza but as I write this it has been 2 ½ hours since I ordered it and it has yet to arrive. After calling twice to check the status of the order the only comment I received was, «There is nothing I can do about it.» Don’t care how good it may be, this level of service takes it off my list forever.

Jimmy’s Pizza is my favorite place for take and bake pizza. Carrie the owner is great. The employees take their time putting the toppings on. They don’t just toss the ingredients anywhere they feel like it, like another take and bake place I know. The only drawback is the pizza is not cheap for a take and bake. Usually about $ 16 for a 3 topping pizza. That being said the $ 16 is totally worth it. PS – Jimmy’s pizza is not just take and bake, that is just what I usually get. They are a full service pizza joint with other stuff too.

Great pizza — best I have found in the area. Thin crust is light and crisp. Toppings are very fresh. Deep Dish is really just a more traditional hand tossed pie. Also very good. Only downside is the price, which is pretty high compared to other choices in the area.
