Oh boy. I never even ate here so I cannot speak for the food. I called to ask if they were hiring or not and was greeted by a clipped voice telling me they don’t do that over the phone and to come in. They simply could have said yes we are hiring come in. It was a yes or no question. Going in I was given an «interview» and the owner was very rude. No thanks, I would rather not work for someone who shows little respect for people they are interviewing. The«application» was just a piece of paper I was instructed to write my name on. If that’s how they treat potential employees I can only imagine how they treat their customers.

First of all, the waitress was great. Very nice and got the food served quick. Now as for the food, I got the meatloaf special. It tasted just like my mother’s meatloaf dinner. A lot of people would say my mother is a horrible cook. I agree. The meatloaf was on special, in my theory at least, because they simply wanted to get rid of it assuming no one would question it if they just drenched it in gravy. Salt had to be one of the biggest ingredients in that gravy. The mashed potatoes tasted like they came straight from the box. No seasoning at all. That’s ok. The gravy had enough salt to cover that too. The green beans were mushy and seemed to be straight from the can. Assuming the can was bought sometime around 1995. The dinner rolls were nothing but unsliced generic hamburger buns. And to finish things off, for just under $ 2 more, you can get a single can of Pepsi if you need to counteract the taste of the gravy.

The dining room was clean but the place was empty on a Thursday night at 7:15. The recommended meat loaf was mediocre. The mashed potatoes & dinner roll were uninspiring. The green beans tasted like they came out of a can. Note to management: A good piece of bread, fresh vegetables and a spruced up potato could turn this place into a gold mine.

I have lived in this area for over 20 years and this has always been my favorite place to grab breakfast. Nothing fancy, but my breakfast is always cooked right. Friendly service fair prices and comfortable place to eat and enjoy. I need to trt the lunch or diners sometime. I have heard from others lunch and dinners are very good.

Great hidden breakfast place. Food service and very old school. The staff is really nice and the breakfast came out quickly. Kind of has a old school diner experience but in a strip mall. Check it out

This diner has the best corned beef cabbage. It has little fat and melts in your mouth. The grilled chicken club sandwich is also good, always fresh. I always order the onion rings, which are the real thing — large, with the type of batter that doesn’t fall off. My husband likes the fish and chips. Dinners come with fresh rolls and the sandwiches come with a tasty pickle wedge. The plates are largish proportions and the prices are right. If you are looking for a gourmet burger, go someplace else, but if you’re looking for some good comfort food and friendly service, this is the place.

I thought the food was great. Took out a meatloaf dinner for my husband and he loved it. Great portion and homemade taste. I had the Greek chicken soup and it was the best since I was in Greece. The owner was so nice.

It is cheap, I’ll give it that. Our dinner cost ~$ 30. We were the only ones in there that were under 70yo. Ya it’s that type of place. The food was not terrible, but is was also not anything exceptional. Just standard mediocre food. Only thing greek was the chix and potatoes when we went and neither was all that good or exciting. The service was fine and they they seem friendly enough, but I typically go out to eat for the food not smiles. If you are looking for a hidden gem, this is not it.

An inexpensive old-school family diner. Nothing pretentious about the décor here, but friendly service and low prices. Recommended most for breakfast.

The employees are unbelievably rude. We sat on the bench outside their restaurant enjoying some ice cream when a woman came out and told us to get off her bench. We moved to another bench, when a male worker came out, sat on the bench and began smoking. He began an argument with us, 3 adults, about why we were rudely told to move. He talked about children coming and making a mess of their storefront and proceeded to call us liars when we said it was the only bench available when we sat down. We are life-long residents of Medway and can not believe the treatment we received. I have no plans of doing business with them now, and if they are so concerned with the appearance of their restaurant, their employees should not be smoking cigarettes out front; it’s really repulsive when looking for a place to eat. All in all, these people are spiteful of their new neighbors(TC Scoops) and should take their attitudes elsewhere.

From their website: From the outside, the Medway Restaurant looks like a diner, and in a way, it is indeed that. But there is a lot more than meets the eye here. This little dining spot turns out the type of excellent Greek cuisine that you would not expect in your run-of-the-mill diner or sandwich shop. — Try the Mousaka!

Whether you dine, or take it home. Medway Restaurant offers real Greek home cooking and a variety of other cuisines. From the outside, the Medway Restaurant looks like a diner, and in a way, it is indeed that. But there is a lot more than meets the eye here. This little dining spot turns out the type of excellent Greek cuisine that you would not expect in your run-of-the-mill diner or sandwich shop. The menu at the Medway Restaurant includes sandwiches, Italian cuisine, diner food, and traditional American cuisine. However, the specialty is the Greek food, especially the nightly specials. The baked lamb and the moussaka, are particularly good. Some other appealing dishes that are on the daily menu include Greek-styled roasted chicken and the baked stuffed peppers. The Medway Restaurant has the feel of a place that you might have found in the 1950s or 1960s, before the family-oriented restaurant chains tended to make these places mostly obsolete. But there are still a number of these simply, friendly little family-owned and family-oriented restaurants out there, and the Medway Restaurant is surely one of the better ones in the region southwest of Boston. Lula, the owner, has been known to clear out a whole table to make extra room for a man in a wheelchair. Now that is great service.
