Good riddance assholes! Got the word from FL that they closed the doors. The absolute worst restaurant experience I’d ever had including the owner messaging me and trying to intimidate me and others reviewers as well. True shitbags

Austin’s is as fine a steak house as you will find in any besides community where seafood dominates the popular cuisine. The décor is all pretty high-end and the food certainly did not disappoint. Before you go there you should know that this is not comparable to Texas Roadhouse and you certainly will realize that when the check comes. More than anything I was pretty disappointed or surprised maybe at the lack of cleanliness in the restroom. You would expect it to be all spit and polish like the rest of the restaurant but it was far from it. It left me with the perception that the kitchen is probably the same. I realize that may not be the case but the bottom line is somebody needs to get on the ball.

Very average place with above average prices. We are at the bar and the place was a ghost town on a Saturday night. Arrived at 630pm and were literally the only ones there. The menu was pretty decent and food we sampled was fine, but not memorable. Service from bartender good, but that’s not saying much – it was one on one! I wanted to like it but I’ll be shocked if this place can stay open for long.

I adored my first visit to this Fabulous place! Excellent service. Fresh and amazing food. Call Connie or Thomas now for your New Years dining, dancing and celebrations! The atmosphere was great. I can’t say enough about the service. You are missing out if you have never been here.

I was not impressed. While the pasta was cooked properly, the Mac n Cheese side dish was soupy and very salty, as though it were prepackaged. The only thing right with the muffaletta was the olive spread. The service was good, but I won’t be going back.

Nice location, easy parking, nice looking building. We started with the iPad to select our wines, I did so by adding the three wines we wanted to the wine list then the iPad was taken and I said we would like a bottle of the riesling, I wanted a glass of the cabernet and we would have two glasses of the 20 year port. The waiter then returned to confirm the order and I said the riesling selected on the iPad we wanted a bottle to start with French Onion soup. To be honest I was not paying close attention to the wine that was brought as it had been a long day. I tried it and it was okay only but I figured that is what I get for selecting a cheap $ 28 bottle. I knew the Cabernet would be good though. The soup was actually very good but the bread was not the same as the first two times we had been there which was disappointing. Then my filet was brought out, it was cooked to my liking internally but the amount of charcoal on the outside was very damaging to the taste, my girlfriend’s short ribs were not to her liking either. At this point I was so disappointed in the $ 40 steak that I no longer wanted to stay for the Port so we cancelled that order and asked for the bill, this is what will keep me from coming back as the $ 28 riesling was now a $ 63 bottle. At this point I looked at my girlfriend and told her I was done with this place. Bad steak and overpriced incorrectly ordered wine and I’m done. Two stars for soup only, my first time there I was not a big fan of the club sandwich either. After having only one good experience in three visits I’m done.

It’s young and new, and any new undertaking experiences some growing pains. As an entrepreneur myself, I totally feel their pain. Wonderful night out and even better food at Austin’s. Started off with a few cocktails. I was disappointed that there was no Grey Goose, but Froggy B is a surprisingly smooth vodka which was recommended by our bartender. Yep, I had never heard of it either. Appetizers are not priced ridiculously as some other folks say. We ordered the tiger shrimp cocktail for $ 19 and the caprese. Both were excellent. Followed up with the entre. We tried the $ 306-oz filet mignon cooked three different ways. It took a little while. The medium rare was more medium, the medium was a bit more than medium, and the well-done was well-done. There was a hunk of melted butter on all three steaks, which was different. The cuts were great quality and had terrific flavor. My salad, asparagus and mashed potatoes were also well-prepared and tasty. Our server was friendly and quite attentive. Couple things I noticed. The bar area is stark and bland — it could use a few hanging lights and décor. The entry area, dining room and other areas are cute. And the price point is a little pricey for this area, but not as crazy as Ruth’s Chris. Might want to cut those a few bucks until folks get to sample your goodness. We’ll definitely be back.

Second time is the charm. So tonight I was heading out to dinner with my entire family and the new steakhouse at The Avenues was suggested. I really wanted to give Austin’s another shot so I zipped my lip and off we went to Austin’s. Upon arriving we were promptly seated by the friendly hostess. Our server Max couldn’t be more professional and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. He took our drink order and my Manhattan arrived promptly. I have to admit that Manhattan was one of the best I have had outside of Manhattan. My best to thise tending the bar. Excellent. After scanning the menu I decided to start with the seared tuna app, Austin’s wedge salad, and my wife and I decided to share the Chateaubriand steak for two. Max speed off to the kitchen and came out with a selection of bread and a dipping tray which included oil, garlic, cheese, and finely minced basil. Absolutely delicious!!! The tuna app cane out and boy was it tasty. I especially enjoyed topping the delicate oueces of tuna with ginger, wasabi, and sliced seaweed salad. An incredible appitizer! The Austin’s wedge was next. I am a big fan of wedge salad and make them at home from time to time. The generous combination of iceberg lettuce, blue cheese crumble, bacon, tomatoes, dressing, and balsamic was exceptional. Not a bite was left. Our Chateaubriand steak for two came next with a side of mashed potatoes. I have to say that the steak was one of the best I have had in some time. Bite after bite was simply heaven. Its Chateaubriand, its supposed to taste heavenly. They delivered big time. I actually got to sample the prime aged t bone that my brother ordered and it was so tasty I actually asked for another bite. Yes it was that good. For dessert we all shared the Chocolate Sphere. A french chocolate sphere filled with chocolate cake and ice cream. Then Max poured hot caramel on top which melted the sphere open and allowed tge caramel to cover the ice cream inside. This is a very unique and tasty dessert. Even the chocolate shell tasted wonderful. This is a must try when you visit Austin’s. I will be back for more very soon. I think we finally have a steakhouse here in Brevard.

Went with a group of seven for friend,‘s birthday dinner on Saturday night. Lounge was nice with good music and ambiance. Dining room had lots of bright blue light panels… nice as an accent wall, but not being surrounded with them. It was overkill. I’m not a meat eater so I had salmon, which was fine. However everyone who had steak said they have had better at Longhorn or Texas Roadhouse. One steak was cold; another was undercooked. This is unexcusable in a premium priced steakhouse. Now I understand why the place was so dead on a Saturday night. They finally brought the dessert to the birthday girl AFTER everyone else’s, and my friend had to go find waiter to remind him. Definitely not worth the price. Won’t go back

I’m not one to bash places or even write reviews about restaurants but this place is an exception to the rule. So with that said… This is a great place to go if you enjoy throwing hundred dollar bills in the wind. Extremely over priced! I’ve had better steaks at Denny’s. This restaurant tries to come off as a 5 star restaurant based on their high prices. Logically when you see a menu with high prices one might assume the food is going to be excellent but that is not the case here. For starters, the server was totally clueless. I had to repeat my order 3 times. then the waiter came back and asked me a 4th time«How did you want your steak cooked?». I couldn’t believe it. Then he brought out our drinks and my Fiancé’s drink was totally wrong and they made something totally different which we have still yet to figure out what it was. I explained to the server they made the wrong drink for her and he rolled his eyes at me and said«Fine. I’ll get you another one» and stormed off with no apologies. Who treats people like that? Especially at those prices?! The waiter brings the drink back then sets it on the table and it spilled because he said it down so hard on the table and the guy didn’t even apologize he just walked away. The steaks were TERRIBLE. Mine was overcooked and hers was undercooked. My steak tasted like someone dipped it in a pile of salt. It was so salty I couldn’t even eat the steak. Her steak was so rare she took two bites of it and decided not to eat it. I told the server we couldn’t eat these steaks and the server said«We are extremely busy and it’s going to be awhile to replace those.» I said. This is ridiculous. just bring me the bill. Then he said do you want boxes for your those? I said. Are you kidding me? Just bring me the bill. The server sarcastically said«Ok!», almost like he thought it was funny! and then walked away. The guy never apologized once for his poor attitude or the bad steaks nor did he offer to get a manager! I took the time to read through the other reviews because I wanted to know if it was just us that had such a bad experience and I noticed there are a lot of other negative reviews and now I can see why. The positive reviews are more then likely from friends and family trying to recover from the bad reviews. Common sense tells me that when there are a bunch of one star reviews and then random 5 star reviews something just doesn’t smell right(kind of like the food). I don’t know who owns this place and I can care less but I do know one thing. I don’t like throwing money in the trash which is why I will never go back to this place again.

I agree with Michael’s review. I’ve had steaks from all around, and after sending the steak back twice(I never send back my food but I will always voice my opinion), it still came out a mess. So chewy, NOT medium rare like requested and no manager came by the table to offer an apology or anything. The server even said«it’s protocol for our manager to hand deliver any food that must be made over» but after sending it back twice… No manager came to the table. I’m not going to pay over $ 60 for a steak that I can’t chew! Ridiculous! If you want to call yourself a chophouse/steakhouse, then you should IFANYTHING, execute your meats properly! You should have taken more time to properly train, or revaluate where your getting your product from. This place will not last with the way things are currently running. Also, they claim they are open until 2AM. However the don’t answer the telephone after 1130pm, and their voicemail is a generic«leave a message after the tone»… It tells you nothing about the NAME, ADDRESS, or HOURSOFOPERATION. I don’t believe anyone of the operators/owners have ever been in the service industry. This is common sense. DONOTWASTEYOURMONEY!

Went for lunch. The prices were reasonable and the food was excellent; very well crafted and presented. The service was great, very accommodating and friendly. I had the French dip. The meet was delicious and the Au jus was as well. The candied bacon in my wife’s club was incredible. Great place for dates!

This restaurant has been open for only a few weeks and is still working through the same kinks that any new restaurant would after just opening. With that in mind, I was very impressed with the quality of staff and food. This restaurant is on its way to being one of the best eateries in Brevard County, though it still has some issues to work through. Our party ordered the shrimp gratin as a starter, two filet mignon’s for the main course, a few sides, and the chocolate globe for dessert. Would highly recommend all of our choices based on our experience, though both steaks seem to have been undercooked slightly, but not to the point where we needed to send them back. I look forward to seeing what the two owners of this restaurant have in store for its future. The bar/piano lounge is sure to be a hit and I look forward to seeing live performances there. Before getting sucked into the negativity from some other users here on Unilocal,visit this restaurant with an open mind and be sure to let the owners/managers know if you have a problem… instead of taking it out on a website after the fact.

I read Unilocal reviews daily as I routinely travel and search for great food. I dined here for dinner and was highly impressed with the quality of the food and service. I read the negative reviews, and do not agree. Nicole did an impeccable job as our server. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and was professional. If you’re a Filet Mignon fan, this was better to me than Ruth’s Chris, or Gibson’s in Chicago.

This has been my first horrible experience with a restaurant in Melbourne ! Very disappointed The salads fish and sides were all subpar!!! Basically inedible!!! STOPUSINGFROZENVEGETABLES Don’t eat their complete waste of your hard earned money!!! Oh and dirty!!! Cut down on staff and improve quality of food! Only positive thoughts go out to our waiter He was pleasant and tried to make beSTof the situation !!!
