I brought two of my four children here to grab a burger as they were not interested in tacos. We ordered two orders of grapes and one order of extra fries. The cashier got the order wrong and didn’t put the grapes in for both kids meals. When I told them instead of fixing their mistake the manager decided that I should pay for my 5 year old to have her grapes since the order said fries. So because his employee got it wrong I was supposed to spend more to go buy the grapes. It was $ 16 for two kids meals with burgers smaller than my palm and a order of fries. That was our first time there and definitely our last. We will head to 5 Guys Next time.

I’ve been to Burger 21 in Viera three times now and I feel like I can give an accurate review at this point. The good: Milkshakes — They seems to take a while to make, but they are absolutely delicious. I’ve tried 3 different kinds and all have been very, very good. Variety — The menu is pretty diverse. Not JUST regular burgers and fries. All of the various dipping sauces for fries are pretty nice, too. The«meh»: Burgers — To me, they really are just.“meh”. Not bad, but not great either. And every… single…time the bun is completely mush and useless less than halfway through eating the burger. And I eat fairly quickly. I have to assume they’re toasting the insides of the buns to help soak up some of the grease, but it still leaves you with a completely soggy, mush of a bottom bun in no time. It turns into a fork-and-knife affair pretty quickly, at least in my experience. And like others have said — the patties themselves are just average. I’d honestly prefer a burger at Chilis to these. And, by the time you order fries, you’re paying the same price! The bad: Fries — Not worth ordering, IMO. They’re like bad imitations of McDonalds fries. And DEFINITELY avoid the ale cheese fries. They’re almost $ 7 for a full order and it’s just an average cheese sauce poured over below average fries. The whole thing is a quickly-getting-cold mess after a few bites. Price — I just can’t justify eating here again for the price. It was a novelty when it opened last year, but the novelty has worn off for me. Too many other good burgers(many for much less $$) around to keep eating here. Wait time — Unless you catch this place when there’s no one in line, prepare to wait a whle. The ordering process takes FOREVER. It may just be that it’s always everyone’s first time to eat there and they don’t know how to order. I don’t know. But the wait to get your food can often take a while as well. I’d say the wait for your food after ordering is more acceptable. But you can stand in line for what seems like an eternity if you go during a busier time. They really need to streamline their ordering process or get staff additional registers.

Great food. The burger great and freshly made. I ordered the shoot burger. I was amazing the taste is different than any other burger I ever had. It’s too unfair that the rating for such a fine burger is low. People really have no taste of food. Any more. I service is Ok. I more concerned about the food here. Don’t listen to those who rate this burger bad. It’s worth trying it by any chance.

Great burger, friendly service, SLOW service. Ok, let’s be clear, it was 1:30pm, about an hour after rush hour for lunch, and I waited 45 minutes for my to-go meal. I think they need to work out their timing because you wait for 20 – 30 minutes in line(1 register open when 2 are available) just to place your order. Then waiting 45 minutes is unnecessary for your food to come out. I do want to go back, but hopefully the speed gets better.

I ordered just a cheeseburger on my half hour lunch break. They told me 10 – 15 minutes. I got there 10 – 15 minutes later and I still had to wait 10 minutes for my burger. 25 minutes to make one cheeseburger? And then it was a sloppy mess because it was almost raw in the middle. Unacceptable.

This review is based solely on the following areas: atmosphere, taste & quality of food, and presentation. I went approx 5p for a takeout order to this new location in Viera. This is a very nice location. Clean environment and is located next to the avenues which is the heart of viera. I placed my order at the register for a Cheesy Bacon Burger & regular side of fries. The burger included American cheddar cheese, onions, mayo, bacon, and Angus beef. The fries were tasty, similar to McDonald’s(just a tad bit thinner). The presentation of the burger was nice, and neat. The flavor of the burger is ok. Not much seasoning or if any was added to the beef at all. The beef did seem fresh and was a hand made burger patty. Not pre frozen and had a good soft texture. The bun was nice and soft. I would come back but tell the cook to add some salt and pepper when cooking the burger. This will help enhance the flavor.

Wow what a burger place. I had the sliders for lunch. 3 black and blue sliders. They were delicious. They also have an ice cream parlor in the back. Didn’t get to try it but I will next time.

I was in the area for work and was desperate for a good lunch after having been on the road from Miami to Brevard at 5 am. Burger 21 came through! You choose a burger from a menu but they did have a wide range of choices. This isn’t like a five guys with tons of toppings but that was a-on with me. I got a simple cheeseburger which was the perfect size for lunch. It wasn’t huge which means no food coma after lunch. I also got the normal size fry which was tasty. I didn’t try a shake but they use Ghiardelli so they are probably delish, I was just too stuffed from my deli hour burger! I’d definitely patron Burger 21 again If I’m ever in the area in the future. Bottom line is you get a great burger with no frills, fries and a drink at a completely reasonable price!

I ordered the Black Bean Veggie burger… delicious veg. burger, fresh avocado, cilantro crema, Pico de gallo, tomato aiolli. Only downside is that the Fries(sweet pot. Or reg) are purchased separately fm burger. But are decently priced. The staff was quick and friendly in service and clean up. If you love a different condiment on each food item like I do… you’ll love this place. Spicy Thai ketchup, Chipotle mayo, Cajun mustard, toasted marshmallow(for the sweet pot. fries) & soo many others. but the BEST is the Apple Cider sauce! This place is awesome! Go now!

Great burgers, great service. Kids chicken tenders and fries hit the spot for my 6 year old, not to mention the chocolate shake.

I’m surprised by all the bad reviews. We’ve had great, fast service and the food is very fresh and good. Options for those who don’t want just a burger too. The black bean and turkey burgers are delicious especially with some sweet potato fries. Great lunch spot for a quick bite, healthy or not.

Ordered the Cinco Burger, Fries and a soda fountain drink. While it was a good effort with the home made bakery bun, the burger made the bottom of the bun so saturated that it was not edible. The French Fries are indistinguishable from McDonalds fries. The beef patty was average.

Went today for the first time with high expectations. It definitely did not live up to them. The burger was ok not worth the $ 8 price, especially when it doesn’t include fries. The shake was not very good. It had some chunks of ice in it. No milk shake should have ice. I read they work on tips and get paid restaurant wages. So I gave a tip at the register. What a waste, at no point was a tip warranted or deserved. So they brought the food to the table, big deal. Not ever a «can I get you anything» or «is everything ok». There are a lot of other options in the area so going back is unlikely.

I am a sucker for a good bbq bacon burger and here they deliver. The serve a big tasty cheese burger filled with bacon, onion straws, lettuce, and bbq sauce. Oh my how tasty it is. The best part is that unlike other places where halfway through your burger the bun falls apart. Not here, this buns was good to the last bite. The fries were ok bit I was hoping for better. I ordered a fountain drink and I enjoy using the coke machine with all the different soldas and different flavors you can add. The service here is good. They take your order and give you a number. They bring your food and clear your table. Good Stuff.

We were very excited to try this place as coworkers have been raving about it for weeks. We were very disappointed. My wife and myself each got a cheesy and we split a basket of fries. The fries came out 5 minutes before our food and were unseasoned. The burgers came out luke warm with cold bacon. I ordered an egg on mine and it was missing. When I asked for the fried egg they took my burger away and placed a greasy, burnt to a crisp fried egg. I’ll attach a picture of it. They replaced the egg by the time my wife and daughter were mostly done with their food. The burgers themselves were really bland which is a shame considering how well the place looks. Management: there seemed to be maybe 1 person in the whole establishment that was over 20 and that person did nothing more to stock the soda machine. No one was monitoring quality of the food or satisfaction of the people. So overall the food was bland, management was nonexistent, and the cost was pretty high. For twice the price, you would expect this to be better than steak and shake.

This location was my first experience with this particular burger chain. I’ve been here twice since it’s opened and both times was happy with my food. A long with other reviews, my biggest thing was the ordering process and the fact that the doorway is right in your face. Not much room to stand between you and people trying to come inside. There were two registers but it took so long to order. I contributed it to being newly opened and overwhelmed with people. On a positive note, mine and my boyfriend’s food was delicious. Wasn’t up for a burger so I ordered the chicken parm and my bf ordered the bacon cheesy. Everything was so spot on perfect, mine was juicy inside with a nice crunchy cheesy outside, toasted bun and this crispy cheese disc that really made it. Definitely would get again. My boyfriend loved his choice as well. Cooked perfectly with a crisp bun, not too greasy at all. The thing that really set this place a part was its variety of shakes and dipping sauces. We enjoyed all the sauces, expect the toasted marshmallow, which was awful. Tasted like rancid mayo. As far as the shakes go, wow. The chocolate malt ball one was awesome. Next time will go for the banana foster. The service when we were seated was great too. Everyone working hard and we were waited on by multiple people. I felt like the price was right for what I received too. I’ll be returning here for a bacon cheesy next time around!

First time visitor… wanted to try the one in Orlando before but never got there. We went for a late lunch in the hopes that the line would be shorter. We were in luck, friendly staff greeted us and my husband was all fired up to order I didn’t even get to look at the menu so I went with the fist thing that popped out at me. The Tex-Mex haystack. So I can not say that this was the best burger I have ever had, however it was good. The only real complaint would be that the bottom bun is too thin, however it is only because the burger is so juicy! Which is a great thing! They clearly know how to cook a burger, I love the onion straws and the sauces are a nice touch. The staff is borderline over helpful but it was also fairly slow so I’m pretty sure they are supposed to keep busy. At least they are not neglectful. I say we will be back… now that I got to look at the menu for more than a few seconds

When I first learned of Burger 21 I was excited to try it out and break the monotony of the same old restaurants around town. The restaurant is modern and clean, additionally the staff does an above average job in keeping tables wiped down and bussed when patrons are done dining. So you’re probably wondering why 2 stars? The burgers for lack enthusiasm. The well thought out franchise menu has a variety of burger options, from beef to chicken, shrimp and Ahi, not to mention all the side dipping sauces to go with, however, the burgers are under seasoned and truthfully quite small for the price. For a gourmet burger with the potential for greatness, the burgers that my group sampled, the black and blue, the tex mex, the philly cheese, the cheesy and the burger 101 all lacked the flavor, size and craftsmanship to make me want to come back for another try. I added an egg over easy to my burger, a simple on menu add on, the line cook in the back placed a fancy«toothpick» to hold the burger in place right through the middle of the egg… Leading to my burger sitting in a puddle of egg yolk upon arrival to the table. The bacon used on multiple of out burgers was thin and tasteless, truthfully if I had not of known it was there when I ordered I would not have noticed it was there. The online menu and pictures of the burgers paint a beautiful picture of gourmet gastronomy, the product that arrives to your table is a smashed down slapped together imitation. Onto the fries. Our group ordered both the sweet potato and regular fries. Both were crispy and ACTUALLY seasoned. The dipping sauces pair well here and give you a variety of options to vary the flavor experience of the fries. Easily said the fries were the best part of the meal, and that said, they did not leave me craving more. Finally the kicker… Up until this point I had planned on rating Burger 21 three stars… Then I decided to order a chocolate shake for my wife and daughter as a TOGO item, a simple item that I assumed would take less than 5 minutes to be ready… 23 minutes later the chocolate shake was ready, no wait… The girl pulled it back off the counter, scraped the whipped cream off, reapplied and dusted it with cocoa powder, why you might ask, well me too, not really sure. But 24 minutes later with shake in hand we were heading out. That said the shake was delicious and of high quality ingredients. The final«whipped cream topper»… My wife found a chunk of paper from a straw(hopefully our straw) inside the shake at the bottom. Not worth a 24 minute wait. Burger 21 has a lot of room to grow and generally in fixable areas. They use quality ingredients and with the right training the restaurant will get better. However, as it stands at this moment it is no higher than a 2 star casual sit down restaurant.”

Look, it’s a BURGER place. Burgers, by design, are greasy. Always have been, always will be. If you’re a stuffy wench with cardiovascular disease and don’t appreciate our nation’s meal, you prob shouldn’t be here. With that said, their burgers are pretty darn good! They have roughly 20 various burgers to choose frim, including chicken, turkey, veggie, and even a seafood burger. A+ for selection. There are also hot dogs, chicken tenders, and even salads for vegetarians. I decided on the bacon cheesy burger. They forgot my bacon initially. My cardiologist was happy until I asked them to correct it. They’ve no doubt got a few kinks to iron out, but all new places do. They’re nationally proven, and they’re on the right track. In the words of Samuel L. Jackson, «Now that’s a tasty burger!» Not too salty, not too greasy, and the tomatoes and pickles were fresh. A decent selection of cold beers and free wifi too. You’ll probably want to avoid the shakes for a little while — looks like they’re still in training. Coming back soon to try the veggie burger. Oh, the staff works for tips. They really don’t seem to do much in terms of serving, other than delivering burgers and cleaning tables. But you try working for a couple bucks an hour and paying rent. It’s a bad decision at the corporate level, but it is what it is. Dig a little deeper when you’re signing that credit card slip — it won’t kill you.

This place is just as good as the ones in Orlando. For a chain restaurant its spectacular. You can tell because on opening day it runs like a well oiled machine, just like any other day for the ones in Orlando. I’m always impressed with the quality of food and service. Freaky unique burgers, impressive selection of dipping sauces for fries and a shake that will have you banging on their door at 2am for another does. You need to not go here ever, so I don’t have to wait inline.
