As far as cracker barrels go this is a pretty good location. The food is almost always good and it is a quick warm meal for a decent price.

I love Cracker Barrel restaurants. We always made sure to dine there when vacationing. The one thing that impresses me about this chain inconsistency in the food and wait staff. I have been eating at this chain 25+ years and have dined in different states. I have never had a bad meal or bad service… ever. I have had breakfast, lunch and dinner there over the years. The food is stellar. I love their Chicken Pie, Blackened Cat Fish and the Chicken Livers. The portions are good sized. I always need a box to go. The side dishes are fabulous! I love the fried Okra, Cheesy Potato Casserole and the Creamed Spinach. Each meal comes with Corn Bread and Biscuits. I am usually too full for dessert, but my husband enjoys the Apple Pie and Fruit Crumble. Expect to wait before being seated. The restaurant is busy. They do have a lovely Old Country Store that sells just about everything. It is fun to shop and passes the wait time. Check out the old fashioned candy area. Brings back memories from my childhood. Customer service is excellent with courteous staff. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. You cannot have a bad meal here.

Everytime I come to Cracker Barrel, I feel like Ricky Bobby. And what’s scary is I begin to talk like him too. The service is very friendly and prompt, but there’s usually a wait because this place is busy being right off I 95 and all. The gift store really annoys me, with all their Chinese junk in there, which will grab the attention of your children quite quickly and they will beg you till they get something. But there is a lot of candy and stuff if you happen to be on a road trip which is good. Bathrooms are usually clean and functional, in the food is usually prepared very well. I like this Cracker Barrel, I prefer it over Denny’s and Perkins. You can find me parked in the to go parking spots, cuz who the heck gets Cracker Barrel to go?

It’s all good decision decisions. Had the Chicken n Dumplings OMG. For a Jewish girl we didn’t have this where I grew up. It was wet mushy delious. With two sides I got a salad and Cheesey Grits’s again not where I grew up. It was so so good, hubby had Chicken Fried Chicken with a white sauce mine was so much better he got three sides. You can have a choice of Biscuit or Corn bread went w/the corn bread. This place is so Southern n delious w/foods i need to try the whole menu all new to the Lunch Lady. Bön appétit

Luv the Barrel! Break Fast! The most important meal of the day and I do mean FAST! Just off exit 191 on I-95, your food is practically waiting for you when you cruise down the ramp. You don’t even have time to browse the knickknacks in the general store. Just sit your tush down and eat! Well, you have to peruse the extensive menu first and then after you order, those eggs, bacon & pancakes fly out of the kitchen! The only way to get your pancakes faster is if Amazon delivered them by radio controlled drone. I ordered the blueberry pancakes with turkey sausage patties this time. They were hot, fluffy, tasty and came with a warm jar of blueberry syrup, mmmmm… Fast, consistent & efficient service while serving good down home comfort food is what Cracker Barrel is all about. That big yellow sign is always a welcome sight along the highway when we’re away from home. Do I need another cast iron frying pan? The luggage handling gorillas at MCO&LGA are gonna love it. And they have Moon Pies! But I love browsing through all the tchotckes in the country store, with a lot of snack items not usually seen in stores around home. Where else can you hang out in front of the store on rocking chairs(and not be arrested for loitering)? Anyone for a game of Checkers?

We have eaten at several Cracker Barrels and the service and food vary. Thus is a good one. The last one in Ohio we ate at was horrible. Ordered the French toast they were as described but could definitely be better with some cinnamon or powdered sugar. It was a Friday so my husband ordered the fish and thought it was good but order the cod it is better than the catfish. Another poster mentioned the traffic getting in and out which was indeed a pain. Service and food were good.

when you are homesick for good olé country cooking and time gone by… their store is filled with candy americana and on cold days the fireplace is on. Best deal for Thanksgiving dinner.

I really love this place. Good food, friendly and hard working staff. My brother and my neighbor took me here for a birthday breakfast and we really enjoyed it. Plus the gift shop gives you lots of little handmade items great for gifts or something for yourself. We were happy, fat, full and smiling as we left but boy oh boy that changed quickly. It is located in the middle of a cluster of streets that it shares with Walmart and MANY other businesses that was horrible trying to get out. We watched as people ran stop signs and screamed at each other just trying to get back to a Main Street. Unfortunately we will not return. There are other Cracker Barrels a little further away that don’t have the insane chaos. But as far as the food and service, they were great! Location leaves a lot to be desired.

If Cracker Barrel is known for anything it’s consistency, sure we all can somewhat appreciate its country store marketing, but I’ve never known anyone that has said«I think I’m going to run over to Cracker Barrel to do a little shopping» people come here for the down home cooking and friendly service. I’ve admittedly eaten at my share of these farm house themed venues and for the most part have had pretty good experiences because once again they tend to be consistent. This location will never stand out in my mind as one of those locations I will plan to stop at when planning a trip it was just okay, the staff was friendly enough and the product was okay not outstanding by any sense of the word but it filled the void. It always comes down to management and training and this location doesn’t feel like it is well managed or at least not at the floor level. There also seems to be some training issues, little things like checking to ensure the dishes are clean, the product is displayed correctly and it’s at least warm when served. It does help that even the most mediocre meal is served up here with a smile but somewhat frustrating when you have to play musical plates to figure out who ordered what because the food server was not the same person who took the order. The behind the counter«sales person» was well versed in spontaneous purchasing technics when I cashed out he made sure to ask all the right questions about the meal and was quick to point out the specials from old fashion bubble gum to coconut rainbow candy and even made a point to remind me it’s never to early to get my Christmas Shopping started being its already mid October and the Country Store is filled to capacity with Christmas ornaments as well as Halloween and Thanksgiving gifts for those last minute procrastinating shoppers.

Haven’t been to a Cracker Barrel in years. Was in the Viera area and said why not. I forgot about the gift store you have to navigate in order to find the hostess and it gave me a bit of nostalgia. The staff is extremely polite and soon enough I was seated. It’s busy in there, servers are everywhere and are helpful. My coffee and water were never left empty longer than two minutes, I was impressed. The food wasn’t bad either. I opted for something a bit healthier ordering a parfait with granola along with my scrambled eggs and Turkey bacon– I couldn’t resist the hashbrown casserole so I ordered it on the side. Everything was delicious and our server was the sweetest. Definitely going back.

Excellent breakfast and brunch restaurant. I really love the biscuits and always ask for the honey as it is a good combination. My favorite is pancakes with REAL Maple syrup and eggs and crisp bacon. The store up front is always interesting to browse and the lines here on Sunday morning are long.

I really like CB. But tonight’s visit was a little disappointing, to say the least. The cornbread was undercooked. I ordered a sunrise sampler which is supposed to come with hash browns. After asking about it twice, I finally got the hash browns, after I had finished my meal. It was nearly the same story on tea refills. I don’t know if the problem was with the wait staff or the kitchen. But I elected to still tip my waitress well as everyone should be permitted to have a bad day, I suppose.

Why is there not a Cracker Barrel in San Diego? No fair!!! I prefer this over all of the other places one might go for a low cost, fast, diner chain type food. The whole store things is kind of strange but I would totally buy a rocking chair if they were cheaper. Service at Cracker Barrel is always fast and although they may not be super nice they help you with what you need and get you in and out fast. I like all the choices for breakfast and the food is always fresh.

Having spent most of my life in California, I had never been exposed to a Cracker Barrel until I was an adult driving cross country. It was the first time I had ever had«grits», despite having been curious after«My Cousin Vinny» — Yeah, sad. I know. But I did, and I ordered all sorts of southern comfort food I had never tried before, such as Turnip Greens. I loved it, and ever since, Cracker Barrel, while a big chain, has been a treat for me. Now I live right down the street from one, and every once in a while I just need to have it. Yes, it is a chain, and I am rarely a fan of chains… but it a place where you can get simple comfort food at a low price, and always count on extremely friendly service. The breakfast is excellent, and the lunch and dinner menus have something for pretty much everyone. So what is not to like?

I love Cracker Barrel, its my vacation spot for Breakfast /Dinner. This one is special because its close to moms house. Why cook in a hot kitchen when you can come here for dinner? My 15 year old can get pancakes and I have catfish and grits with a big sweet tea. yummmm Those rocking chairs are there for a reason. Waiting for me after dinner to play checkers with my sons! When I’m back in NY, I miss Cracker Barrel and playing checkers with mom.(I don’t let her win) ;)

I love Cracker Barrel! They have the most delicous breakfasts. Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes — but it is well worth it. This particular Cracker Barrel has the BEST service of any Cracker Barrel I’d been to. And let me add that Cracker Barrel typically has excellent service. We had a most enjoyable breakfast

Who doesn’t love cracker barrel? Also, this one is conveniently located,(I guess they all are) are the side of I95 on the road I use to cross over from the Turnpike to I95. Don’t forget they serve lunch. They have great lunch and dinner food, don’t just think about breakfast. Glass bottle coke. A gift shop that changes with the seasons. Cracker Barrel sells stuff for the holidays that Hallmark makes up.
