Food was very. good. We had quesadilla’s that were overstuffed with plenty of steak, onions and peppers. Enchiladas were very tasty as well. Service was excellent. First visit but I would certainly go back

The homemade taco shell is crazy good, fresh and crunchy! Queso was delicious, as were the tacos. I never leave here hungry. Best Mexican I’ve found so far in FL.

Excellent. We have been looking for decent Mexican food for over a year. Has both traditional and some new twists. Had mushroom, chicken enchilada. So good. Portions are large and atmosphere is nice.
We eat out often and Veana was one of the most professional, pleasant waitresses I have ever encountered. I have severe allergies and she accommodated with a smile.

Guacomole black bean burger with sautéed veggies is yummy. They have a vegetarian menu that you have to ask for. Several nice selections there including guacamole enchiladas, spinach quesadilla, etc. their chicken Monterrey lunch is good as well.

Best Mexican place I have found so far in Melbourne me and my girlfriend love this place and there peach margaritas are to die for!

On the hunt for a good Mexican restaurant. Service was good and the food was just ok to us. The cheese dip was really good. Salsa was bland. The search continues.

This place sucks, food was of poor quality. Only reason I’m giving this more than 1 star is because the server was great. Bridget is a great waitress!

Not the greatest Mexican food I’ve had. They handled my complaint well, but I fear without keeping a close eye on the kitchen they could be letting themselves into a tricky situation.

Enjoyed a late lunch/​early dinner with the hubby. Enjoyed everything from the chips and salsa, to the margaritas and entrees! Everyone is friendly and attentive!

Food was medicore. Nothing special. Best thing about this place was my waitress. She was super nice.

We didn’t love it. This was not authentic Mexican food by any stretch of the imagination. The queso was watery and didn’t taste at all cheesy and the chips were straight off the grocery shelf. I had the Cinco Enchiladas but I modified it to 2 cheese and onion, 2 chicken and 2 avocado. The avocado had a sauce on it that had pepper seeds in it. No thank you. The chicken were pretty good and the cheese and onion I could not eat after the first bite. I don’t know if it was the chili con carne sauce on top or the cheese and onion itself, but it had an absolutely putrid taste. To top it off, the rice was tasteless and the retried beans were too smokey. Now don’t get me wrong, I love On The Border, which is absolutely Americanized Mexican, but this was just bad. As for the place itself, everything was sticky and country music was played exclusively and rather loudly. Honesty, the only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because our server, Anna, was great. Very sweet and on top of things.

Love this place once again it was great since its Monday I ordered the Mucho Monday which intales chicken enchilada beef burrito and a beef taco with beans and rice yummy! Hubby Chimney combo pretty awesome ! Love this place!

Love their chips n salsa and the service is top notch– food is always hot and always delicious!

Not good! Asked if tamales were made fresh. Was told yes. NOT!!! Tasted like it came from a can. Tasted like it too. Service was terrible. Never returning. No kids items of any to mention.

I was taken here on a date and didn’t like it one bit. I ordered the beef tacos and the meat was horrible. It was dry and greasy ground beef with no seasoning whatsoever. I don’t know what they’re thinking by marketing their queso. It’s not fame worthy by any standard. The lighting is weird and their birthday song is an ear sore. I feel sorry for people who celebrate their birthday here.
This place was as bad as my date, or maybe even worse…

The food is Good, I think we have all had better Mexican food. Price is high, but you know that does not stop me from stopping in once in awhile. A good spot, Love when they have buy 1 get 1 Fajitas!

We showed up at El Chico Café after a failed attempt to first go to El INDIO MEXICAN RESTAURANT. We showed up at EL Indio Mexican Restaurant at 930pm and they said that they closed the kitchen early because they were slow.
Anyways, back to El Chico… We had made some calls to other Mexican restaurants and luckily this place was open till 11 pm on Saturday. When we showed up it was approximately 30 minutes before closing and they happily served us. Our waitress, Carla, was very courteous, peppy, and very hospitable. She took care of us really well and makes this restaurant look awesome.
The food was amazing and had a wide selection for both vegetarians and meat eaters as well. The Chili con Queso with the chips was a great appetizer and I had Cheese Enchiladas topped with chili con queso melted cheese. Delicious!
Special thanks to Carla, she did a great job and she seemed she enjoyed serving us. This is very hard to find these days.

This is one of our favorite places to grab a drink and appetizer before a movie. It’s within walking distance of our favorite movie theater too. We both love their cheese dip and salsa to start off with. On top of that we usually order the mixed fajitas to split which leaves us leaving stuffed with left overs. We also like to take advantage of their happy hour prices. My favorite drinks are the frozen mango and raspberry margaritas. Delicious! The service has always great so we keep coming back. I highly recommend this place.

We ate outside at the patio because I had my pups with me the staff was super friendly and attentive. The manager even came out to talk to us and give a bowl of water and a little piece of chicken to the pups. We got the guacamole which is made fresh at the table and split a combo meal.
Between the guac and the combo I split with my mom I was so stuffed. I ordered a desert to go because I couldn’t pass a sopapilla up. If I’m in the area would defiantly go again.

Best Mexican good in Melbourne. Good ambience wonderful service and a full menu. I went with my girl friend late night and they allowed us to hang out even if they were about to close. I am looking forward to go back again !
Food + beer + tv + good ambience + great service = awesome place to go !!
