This place used to be awesome. But staff and policy changes have changed drastically. It’s like an entirely different store now. Most of the staff isn’t helpful or knowledgeable about tech products. Hard drives shown on the shelf as in stock continually aren’t. And their tech depot computer technicians are terribly unqualified and often misleading. A friend had a Windows update issue misdiagnosed as a «virus.» Fortunately, she was able to get a refund. Their return policies are still very fair. And considering this is the only place in Viera to buy a computer (Walmart has some low-​quality/​low-​cost models that should be avoided), I hoped OD would embrace the opportunity. But, like most other Viera franchisees, they’re the redheaded stepchild. Note that Staples is currently in negotiations to buy the Office Depot/​Office Max conglomerate, so if you’re price shopping, you can avoid wasting time.
