Went for breakfast on a Tuesday. No welcome by anybody, sat at a table for about ten minutes while watching one of the wait staff get her breakfast and eat it at the bar. Still no one acknowledged our presence. Finally left and went across the street to That Little Restaurant and were greeted upon entering and waited on fast. Slackersw is aptly named. NEVER again

I heard the ads on the radio of this place going to work and coming home from work. So I came in and tried its fried fish all you can eat special and the killer wings special. On both separate occasion, it was very good and satisfying. The waitress told me that the place has been recently under new owner, and it is very nice and very clean and different after the renovation. I definitely be back for those killer wings and the fried fish. I’d recommend you to try out this place if you are into fried fish or wings.

I think Slackers is sometimes hurt by its name. People are drawn to the diner across the way, but think twice. Their pancakes for breakfast are moist and delicious, just like the old commercial used to say. Dinner is excellent, non-​fussy but better than diner food. Excellent servers, too. Good local joint that’s not a chain and, hey, we all like chains, but if the mom and pops go, they never come back. Chains will leave you even if they’re doing well. Stay loyal to the local restaurants.

We ate there on a Saturday, for the all you can eat fish fry.
I’ve had better fish. It wasn’t terrible, but wasn’t great.
My husband got the steak and cheese, and he didn’t really like it at all. Rubbery and yucky cheese. The portion was pretty small, for the $$.
Prices were ok, but we were not impressed.

Wouldn’t come back if ya paid me… First things first, the salad had one cucumber, a very thin slice of onion & pepper a qt pc of tomato, a qt pc of a hard boiled egg. The broiled scallops had NO flavor, the greens only had flavor cuz I put vinegar on them… And lastly the diet Coke was flat.
