Tasty Breakfast and Lunch

Totally worth it. A great little hidden treasure with really friendly staff and yummy breakfast. They go out of their way to make it a good experience. I love that place!

Awesome place, great service, and excellent food. I’ve been here twice and both times it has been excellent. The sausage gravy is awesome… easily the best in the area!

This place was a little hard to find, or we were just surprised by its location. Excellent food in a completely underwhelming environment, but worth the minute it takes to find them on Apollo in the strip mall.

I arrived after the business had closed because the hours had changed for the summer and the Unilocal listing had the non-​summer hours. Owner, Maria, insisted I come in and she made me a delicious chicken salad sandwich. It was terrific and unlike any I have had before — fresh homemade chicken, delicately spiced with a very very subtle heat, perfect amount of mayo. The day’s iced tea had already been disposed of but I was served the owner’s private stock of iced hibiscus green tea. Fantastic! I’ll be back soon to sample more from this bright, cheery, clean restaurant.

OJ was so delicious and fresh!!! The waiter was also my chef and super friendly! Luckily since I was there bright and early it wasn’t too much for him to handle… And another waitress showed up shortly after. But He was super fast and great!!! And most importantly the food was delicious! With excellent service at an affordable price… What more could you ask for? :)

Place is aptly named! Food was fresh and oh so tasty. We went for lunch and had a special and a panini – both delicious. I’m a big fan of seasoning but Tasty does it right with simple foods and just enough seasoning for more delicate palates while keeping some spices for those who want to kick up their food a notch.
You won’t even care that they don’t have fountain drinks at the prices they charge overall. Place is clean and staff is friendly. Even the cooks said goodbye at the end. I almost wish they were open for dinner. We will definitely be back!
For those of you using GPS to get there, make sure you turn into the plaza at the end of Apollo – or you’ll be stuck heading back to the Melbourne airport like we did. Food was completely worth the aggravation of a wayward GPS lol

AWESOME hole-​in-​the-​wall place… took my mom for lunch since I had a Groupon and boy was it worth it… the chicken panini was so «Tasty»…but my favorite were the chicken empanadas… talk about heaven… I have had many empanadas in my time but I really could have eaten a dozen of those little suckers… already planning another trip for lunch and taking more people with me to this amazing place.

Signage wasn’t great so it’s hard to see from the street but it is right off Eau Gallie. The food was very good and the sever was really friendly and attentive.

This is truly one of the Melbourne areas hidden gems. The food is amazing, it is family run (with the kids even pitching in), and the prices are great. The food has always been fresh and delicious, with Brazilian dishes available, as well as American. My first stop by was amazing with great service from the kids, Tasty Chicken and garlic mashed potatoes (best have had in a while), and grilled vegetables. I even took a freshly made sub home for later. The sub was great!
I went back recently and had the rabanadas, which is like french toast, but dipped in sweet milk and fried then covered with cinnamon and sugar. I ordered one for a friend on his way and he was just as happy with the meal as I was. The flan was SO good and I almost had to run away from the building before I ordered more!
This is one of those locally owned restaurants that we should all support. You could never go wrong eating here.

We had the opportunity to talk with the owners while we were there and they have only been open about 5 months. Jim was super friendly and willing to talk about all of the entrees they offer. They literally made our food right in front of us while we sat at the bar and chatted with them. Biscuits and gravy were good and the fruit, granola and yogurt plate was very impressive. Prices were reasonable. Worth checking out this hidden diner.

This location has finally got the right restaurant in it. On a trip to Dollar general, my family and I noticed new paint and good smells from that direction. We decided to check it out. Upon walking in, we noticed how clean and fresh the restaurant looked, and were immediately greeted with smiles by all that were working. Jim and Maria are the friendly owners, making all sorts of incredible things from scratch. I was skeptical trying their «Tasty chicken» just because you never know the quality until you see it and try it. Without hesitation, Jim offered me a sampling of it and I am so glad he did because «Tasty chicken» is my new favorite food. Chicken slowly simmered in a magic broth with onions over mashed potatoes. My fiancé had a Greek omelet that was delicious. We ordered an Italian sandwich to go for lunch, and watched Jim hand slice the meats for it then assemble the TASTIEST Italian sub I’ve ever had in Brevard, not to mentioned underpriced. The priced are beyond reasonable, the food is delicious and the people working truly take pride in what they’re doing. A Melbourne gem!

Very nice, clean and friendly place. Food is good and very affordable. We liked it very much.

Great find! You can tell these guys put pride in their food. I had a pulled pork special. Moist, flavorful pork. It’s not BBQ, but slow roasted pork butt. Delicious. I wish I had room for the fish stew they also offered. It had a taste and I was impressed.

The empanadas and deserts were two of the best things I have eaten in my life, the prices are amazing, the owners are amazing and the food is amazing, the only thing to dislike about this place is that it is about 25 minutes from my house. They don’t have a webpage but they can be found on facebook as ‘Tasty Breakfast and Lunch’.
