The Freedom Cafe

The food was good one. I’ve been back 3 times and it was just gross. I wanted it to be good, to support a local business but I won’t return again. Soggy bread, soggy fries.

Went here for lunch and ordered the battleship. Wait was very long for the food to come out. Granted we had a party of seven, but the rest of the diner was pretty much empty. When food came out it was missing one of the three eggs and the cheese and the remaining two eggs were overcooked. Unimpressed at best. Won’t be back.

The Freedom Café is a hidden gem. It’s tucked away within the Staples shopping center… & I strongly recommend finding it!!! Since we discovered it, my husband & I have become regulars… & it never disappoints!!! The food & service are excellent and, being a military family, we always enjoy the patriotic atmosphere. The walls are covered with wonderful military history & inspiring patriotic memorabilia. The prices are very reasonable… & it’s a nice, quiet, clean place to enjoy a freshly prepared meal. (Note that this is a breakfast/​lunch place… & closes at 3pm during the week.)

We started going here a year or so ago when our regular breakfast place stopped serving breakfast. Now that i think about it we should have been going here all along. The coffee is great, the food quality is great for the price you pay and believe me you a couple can easliy go and have a filling breakfast with coffee or any drink and even with tip leave with change from a $ 20. They have the «Breakfast Brigade» card that gives you a free breakfast with every 9^th breakfast purchased. Lets talk about the food, the eggs are always done exactly the way one wants them, their fresh home fries come with or with out peppers and onions, or you can get hash browns. The bacon is the thick bacon, fried well, and the meal is never greasy. Friendliest staff in Brevard county top off our weekly Saturday/​sunday destination for breakfast every week. Of course, i can’t fail to mention the owner who frequently pops in and checks in on the business and greets customers to make sure they are ok. If you are lucky, you may get one of his corny jokes as a added bonus, LOL, great guy, very nice…

What a nice quaint café/​diner! Decorated with military memorabilia/​photos, which I particularly enjoy. I stopped in for breakfast, and was happy to find very reasonable prices. I ordered an omelette and it was a very hearty sized omelette and tasted great! The ladies working were very friendly and accommodating, even when I had to make an unexpected, quit dash before finishing my food.

Nice place. They have a great breakfast and the prices are reasonable. Fast and friendly service. And they make a great cup of coffee!
