Went on a Sunday lunch and we received poor initial service. It seemed as if our server didn’t notice us in his section for 10 minutes. Food was delicious including the appetizers. This establishment charges a $ 10.00 on premise cake fee. I found that to be quite expensive given what competitors charge, if any fee.

First visit. Very unique. Enormous wine and beer selection in the Cellars. Ate in covered patio. Had excellent roast beef melt on luscious roll. Good service and pleasant ambience Will return for sure.

Stopped by for lunch and didn’t realize it was a restaurant, bar, and store. They have outdoor, indoor, and terrace seating. My friend and I sat on the terrace since the weather was nice. Our server, Jimmy, recommended the Kentucky beer(no.43) from the 70+ beers on tap. The beer I originally wanted was out, but the Kentucky beer was delicious. I had the fajita steak sandwich and my friend had the grilled salmon with mashed potatoes, both with a side of garlic spinach. Both were filling portions and reasonably priced.

I loved this place years ago when it was a brunch/breakfast place. It’s changed & it’s still a great place. Prices may seem high but when you want quality, you will pay a little extra(at least I will). We came early in the evening & it was nice & quiet. I had a burger & my wife had fish tacos. Both were incredible.

I highly recommend this place. 73 beers on draft, AMAZING food and even better deserts. I had fresh caught flounder and the ice cream sandwich and I would order it again no questions asked. Our server Kevin was outstanding.

Have been to the mansion now on more than 5 – 10 occasions over several years. I really liked it at first, and the beer and drink selection is great. However, I am vegetarian and the food options are limited, basically a salad option, some bread sticks, and a sandwich. But I would deal with that because of the nice drink selection. However, upon closer look, the drink prices are quite expensive(as told by other reviewers on here), and the bottle shop down stairs has consistently elevated prices as compared to other shops around town. For example, a bottle of 120 minute IPA cost $ 20 and a bottle of Elmer T. Lee Bourbon costs $ 90 at The Mansion. At ABC, Total Wine, and other small shops these items cost $ 10 and $ 35 respectively. They also have a bottle of Angels Envy for $ 300 that costs $ 200 in other stores. I have also consistently paid $ 5 more for Cigar City bombers here. The bottom line is, they do get hard to find liquor/wine/beer bottles, but when you do find it here you will pay more for it, sometime A LOTMORE. Now to the service. On several occasions my wife and I have had disappointing service here. Since we are vegetarian, we asked to have a sandwich warmed up. The server told us that heating a sandwich is against policy, and not possible. Really? You cant heat up a sandwich? sounds odd. Then, on a separate occasion, I wanted to bourbon instead of a beer. I asked for a menu, but one did not exist. Not a surprise, and not big deal. So I went to the bar and asked, and was the directed to the package store for a better selection. Upon entry, I stood as 2 employees joked about drinking the night before. Again, no big deal, but then they stood talking, giving each other shoulder rubs, and ignoring me for more than 5 minutes. I finally had to ask what they had. I was told«whats on the shelf.» So I found one I liked and asked for a price. This was another problem. The employee ran off to find the price. 5 minuted later he returned and told me he could not find the price. Then, after staring at me awkwardly for 10 seconds, and not offering other comparable options, I had to ask what else they had that was similar. He suggested a different bourbon and then turned back to his friend to continue the shoulder rub session. So I left and ordered the bourbon from my server. With all that said, I would recommend finding another place to eat lunch and buy your drinks at. If all you care about is a decent roof-top view and wide beer selection, then The Mansion could be for you. If you want consistently good service, decent bottle prices, or vegetarian options, definitely look elsewhere. In fact, Back Water is within walking distance of the Mansion, and have much more vegetarian options in addition to better food. And Meg-O-Mally’s is also within walking distance and has a decent beer selection, albeit much smaller. But at least these places will take care of you while you visit and not make you feel stupid and awkward while ordering. Visited February 2016

have eaten at the Mansion on several occasions and have never had a bad meal. On Valentines day this year, my husband made reservations two weeks ahead of time at a different restaurant for a romantic table for two. We arrived at the unnamed eatery and was given a small table a foot away from the front door. The table next to ours was less than a foot away. There also was a table of ten on the other side of us. Noisy, and unromantic you could get. After 10 minutes, we decided we did not want to dine there. I love the Mansion so I took a chance and called them to inquire if they could accommodate us on short notice. I explained to her our situation and she kindly told us to come in, although we may wait for a short time, they would have a table for us. We arrived, gave our name and headed to the bar. We didn’t have time to have a glass of wine when phone rang indicated our table was ready. Great table too. As always the food was impeccable as was the service. I ordered the chicken breast that was stuffed with ricotta, roasted garlic, roasted red peppers that was out of this world delicious. My husband had the pot roast that he said was perfect. Thanks for saving our Valentines day dinner. Great food and great service! Can’t wait to visit again

I love this place: the food, fantastic beer selection, the friendly and funny staff, the ambiance(so many choices within one restaurant: upstairs under the stars, downstairs but still outside, at the bar, a booth in the restaurant), the giant loaves of bread for two bucks and the delicious salmon BLT. Can you tell that I’m a huge fan?

Delicious and a nice environment. I had the gorgonzola bacon burger. It was very good. If you are into wine and beer there are tons of varieties of both.

We go here quite often, and it never disappoints. The owners(Dean and Beth) did a great job revitalizing this historic landmark as not only a restaurant, but also a deli and top-notch take-out cellar. The food is consistently good, the atmosphere is great, and the draft craft beer selection is hands-down the best in the area.

We were 5 people meeting in Melbourne for an overnight golf game and reunion. We got this restaurant recommendation from our travel agent who lives in Melbourne. We sat upstairs, outside, and enjoyed the view. The menu had something for everyone. We all enjoyed the mushroom bruschetta and got a second order. Our main courses were pork chops, pot roast, roast chicken and fish tacos.‘ We shared Key Lime Mousse pie and a homemade ice cream sandwich(a real winner). We also had several beers from the extensive choices and wine by the glass. They stop seating at 8 pm on Sundays which is a little inconvenient. Also, the parking is limited.

This place has such an adorable décor, very cozy & laid back. You can be dressed up or casual it seems to cater to both occasions. I like that the upstairs has its own bar and is adults only. Came here for dinner, the entire meal was excellent from apps to dessert, but be patient bc it takes time to create delicious dishes. If you have the time to explore check out there liquor shop & bakery section.

Adorable place with a very nice owner. It’s a tad odd to see other people walking back and forth to their rooms if their bathroom isn’t in their room, but we laughed it off when seeing a shirtless mustachioed dude in pajama pants walking down the hallway brushing his teeth. Luckily our bathroom was in our room. I was surprised at how comfy we were in an old place like this. Very cute place with a lot of personality. The only downside was we were very excited to use the hot tub but it wasn’t working.

Stopped in for drinks on the Saturday night after Thanksgiving and had a fairly typical rum and coke. The scene was a little quiet but this seemed to be the case for most bars in the area given that it was only a few days after a major holiday. The mixed drink was fine, nothing special, but this rating is based on the fact that the bar had an extensive beer selection which my friends thoroughly enjoyed exploring. The bar tenders were amicable and not pushy. The building itself is pretty cool though I’d warn newcomers not to make the same mistake I did and embarrass themselves by walking into the liquor storefront on the first floor and confusedly try to find the bar from there. I plan on coming back when it’s a little busier to explore their beer selection and try the food.

Food was ok. Prices are more high end. I ordered a special that was described completely different than it arrived. Waitress basically told me I was stuck with it. Atmosphere was nice. Manager came up after I showed the waitress my review. Comp the meal and offered free desert. I would give this place a second try.

The Mansion is true to its name in size. HUGE place with a HUGE bottle selection. We were actually only there for dessert, so I can only speak to the sweets. We shared a chocolate cake and a peach cobbler among 3 people. They were only ok, nothing amazing. It was nice, though, to sit at the top like on a roof-top bar and relax.

My friend and I spent a weekend in Vero Beach and arrived at Melbourne International Airport. We were both starving and had an hour ride before we reached our hotel so we looked for something close by. We checked our favorite app, Unilocal and saw the good reviews and outdoor seating at The Mansion. The restaurant had outdoor seating which was a deal breaker since we just came from NYC’s freezing cold weather we wanted to melt in the Florida sunshine and enjoy our meal. We were there on a Friday afternoon and had no issues with parking. We arrived at the Mansion and there were only a few people sitting outside. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful hot weather. The décor of the restaurant and the weather reminded me of a Caribbean resort. They had a few lunch specials that my friend and I decided to try. I ordered the chicken sandwich that came with rice and beans. My friend ordered a sandwich with fries. We both enjoyed our meals without any complaints. The service was good and the ambience was great. We checked out the outdoor seating upstairs that had gorgeous views of the area. It was more crowded up stairs. After lunch we browsed the small convenience store connected to the restaurant and enjoyed checking out all the old school candies. We purchased some green tea gum that we never saw before. We enjoyed our visit to the Mansion and wouldn’t hesitate returning and eating again when in the area.

The Mansion was a very gun place to go. It was later at night and we ate on the top deck. The hostess was a tad on the curt side, like she didn’t want to be working that day. Melissa the server was super charming and great. She made our experience. The tap list was HUGE, there were so many beers to try. My coworker makes this stop every time he is in the area and I can see why. The fish special for that day was great. Juicy and just the right amount of seasoning.
